I am currently riding a cbr 125R. I was meaning to get on a 600RR, unfortunately I cant do the upgrade cause of restrictions, until im 24 or done 2 years on A2 restricted.
+Toxic Chillz Oh right I understand, it's just you replied to the comment about the 125. Don't get me started on the restrictions mate. You pass your driving test at 17 and then bam can drive any car you like. I had my driving licence for over a decade and got on a 125 and still had to have an L plate! Getting a 125hp CBR600RR at age 24 will cost you a bomb to insure mate, it's in bracket 15 out of 16 btw.
This bike looks incredible from every angel, it's definitely the perfect bike of its own class! ***** Unfortunately, I had to test them the wrong way round. I took the blade out first and that made the 600 feel like it lacked power (which it doesn't). I may get a 'blade now though as i suspect that once I got used to the 600 I'd be hankering for a little more.
+Ziggy Sheppard Oh ok. Yeah better the other way round. I've tested them both. There really isn't much in it from 0-60mph but yes when you're doing over 80mph then there's a bit of a difference. However I predict a new fireblade is coming out next year though, the current one is pretty old now whereas the 600 was refreshed in 2013. When I was deciding I could've gone for any bike, including an S1000RR (the best super sports atmo imo) but I loved the complete package (looks, tail exhaust etc) that the 600RR had. Hope that helps. Anyway great you had a go on both in one day. RSM.
+Sup3rSaiy3n Considering getting a 600rr as an everyday bike. You think its comfortable enough? Currently have a CB300f but wanted to upgrade to larger engine.
+Rey B Never knew they did a cb300f. I have a cbr300r, very comfortable. Anyway depends on how long you've been riding and whether you've developed any back or wrist problems. I haven't been riding long and it's comfortable after a couple of hours. Best way to find out is to take one for a test ride.
They Have the CB 300f in the U.S. By comfortable I mean how is the seating positioned for a 5-10 rider? How tall are you and how does the bike "fit"? Can u flat foot etc.?
how long have you been riding and wot was length on the 125 b4 u made the transition to your 600? like your vid most are from the states like to see uk vids as well.
+Mark Seals323 Thanks. I started in Oct 2013 on the 125 then passed my test in April 2014 when I transitioned to the 600RR. I rode about 3,000 miles on the 125. Hope that helps.
Love your bike! Seeing that you've owned a cbr125/300 and now the 600, which do you think is the best for a beginners bike I'm seriously looking into getting one soon I want something easy and fun and fast enough to overtake people on the highway, which cbr do you recommend? Much appreciated!
my favourite bike in repsol....word of warning i had similar tyre valves and they wrecked the valves the added weight at speed weakens the rubber till they split. i would recommend you replace them with the standard black ones...
She really is a lovely machine :) I've sat on a 600rr and being a short dude, they really aren't too good for sorties but it cant be said enough, it is an EPIC machine lol Looks great and performs fantastic :) Hope this incoming season is full of great rides :) Stay safe bro and keep the rubber side down :)
Yeah I can't speak for shorties but I'm about 6ft so this bike must be just right for me. Never get a crouched feeling from it. Thanks for your support Luke.
***** I'm 5ft 6 with a short-ass inside leg (30 inches?). I used to comfortably get on my 2009 CBR6. I could flat foot it, but only on one side. Two sides required not quite, but almost tip-toes. Really nice sized bike (for short arses like me!).
Gorgeous bike mate, with some nice little mods. I had ruled these out as I thought they might be too cramped for me - I'm 6'1 and not too flexible. But I see I might be able to get the footpegs lowered a bit with those plates. Hopefully this will be all I need to do to be comfortable on one. Not sat on one yet.
Thanks man. It's was my commuting bike all of last year. I try and take care of all of my possessions but I do love my bike. I don't baby her though. Use her every day. She's done almost 7K miles in the past 8 months.
I wouldn't. I have owned both and honestly you are going to miss the torque of the Street Triple, the power is actually very similar, and the suspension is miles better on the Street Triple R.
@@Overtorange Thanks for your information. Glad you replied to my comment. I was having second thought but I think it was karma that you replied. Cheers.
I have 2 things, its not great for tall riders, because the windscreen sets low, and if its the standard colors, the fairings looks really dull and plain.
cbrad600 2013 That's very strange. What year is yours? I thought Hiss was standard on bikes bigger than CBR500R. Also strange that yours does not have hazards and passing switch.
Chris_murdock01 Don't get it if you live in the city after you hit 11k rpm you would be going over the speed limit in first gear trust me a guy on my street kept complaining about that super sports are meant if you live in roads that are long. i would get the cbr500r or the cbr650f since i live in the city.
Nice. Health to enjoy....I was wondering on the left hand side above the gear shifter, what would the engine look like without that plastic cover? I'm torn between a Yamaha r6 and one of these..
Please treat all the bare metal with AC-50, also works on electric. Give it a treatment once every year. Even think you got companies in the UK that specialized in AC-50 treatment of motorcycles. Works perfectly
I didn't get bored as such. I had planned to take my big test soon after the CBT but I wanted to get some road craft. If we're talking specifics then I bought the 125 in November 2013 then passed my test and bought the 600 the same day in May 2014. I rode 3,000 miles on the 125. Hope that helps.
Went into my local Honda centre this week. Something to do with new euro4 emisions and being too expensive to develope a new 600cc engine to conform to them.
Ooh interesting. Those damn Euro emissions have resulted in larger cats and uglier bottoms imo. Might be worth waiting for the new Fireblade? Unless you prefer the look of the 600.
Sup3rSaiy3n it's been in all the magazines. Quite a few bikes will be killed off because of it, and when the Euro 5 is out in 2020 the rules will be more strict.
Awesome bike brother! I have a question, where would I be able to purchase the R&G protectors? Im from Canada, any website I can go to? I have the 2015 model but i heard not much difference from 2013 to lastest
Adrian Badillo Hi, thanks for your comment. You should be able to order direct from their website: www.rg-racing.com/default.aspx?pageid=4 The usual shipping and charges will apply. If I were you I would purchase the more expensive non-drill protectors. I'm glad I did when I found out each fairing is roughly $700! The 2015 model is the 2013 model but with a 2015 registration plate. There are zero differences between the 2013, 2014 & 2015 models, just the colours, in case anyone asks you out and about. Have fun and Ride safe.
+Leo Rosado I went from a 125 to this and was fine but it's not really a beginner's bike. I would say a CBR500 is a beginner's bike. The 600RR has double the power of a 500 so you probably might not be used to it. It all depends what you are comfortable with. I would book a test ride to see if it is comfortable for you. Not all bikes ride the same.
Hello! Amazing bike with amazing exhaust! One question about Licence Plate holder with led turn light. Where i can find this Plate holder kit ? And brand name?
Yes obviously but Ive heard that you block the wind directly behind you and the exhaust can get on you so im just asking if you have ever had that problem? *****
+Thomas Alexiou I'm messing with ya haha. I've never heard of the blocking wind thing, interesting. No I've never had that problem. The exhaust still has a cat so the gases are minimal, would be interesting to see the results with a full system. I can also say that my boots have never had that problem when I've been on Fireblades and S1000RRs too.
Ok cool thanks bro, the reason i was asking was because i love your bike but i have to go to school so i dont want to smell like exhaust. Thanks!! (: *****
+Thomas Alexiou That's fine. No you won't smell. It's a petrol with a cat and emissions are quite low. Can you filter where you live because depending on traffic there would be more chance of you smelling of other vehicles on the road - especially on your gloves.
Hahahaha... No, start on a 300cc-500cc like the cbr250r (a bike to keep for like a year until you get bored) or the cbr500r. I started on the ninja 300, awesome bike, perfect about on power.
Slacin' Ace Nah I disagree. Go for the bike that you're most comfortable. I've got loads of mates who passed and went onto a 600 and never looked back. I've also got mates who have went down the Ninja 250 and have sold it within a week. Once you get used to your riding ability you want something bigger.
Slacin' Ace I agree. I also think where you're from has a lot to do with it. In America you can do your test and ride a 600. Here in the UK you have to be 24yrs old before you can ride a 600. Also here the test for anything bigger than a 125 is the same as the 600 test so most people wait till they can do the 600 test and then choose whatever they feel comfortable with.
Haha you can be 15, and have a restriction to 250cc, but once your 16, the restriction is dropped. I'm thinking of getting ninja 300 until I move out of my parents'
+calvin Klick I know shooting the review bare foot would've been the better life choice hehe. Would it help if I said I never wear them on the bike. Please forgive.
I use to own a cbr 600rr was my first bike passed my test in 2011 and jumped straight onto it loved it tbh kept it for around 2 years but I love the repsol who doesn't LOL
The best Japanese 600cc bike made!! IMO of course the only one better would be the Daytona 675 but thats about it.. Ive had two CBRs now and not a bad thing to say Great Wicked Awesome machine... I had my second one stretched 6inch over and with my motion pro throttle could straight power wheelie with 46 tooth sprocket... Keep Safe Lad,,,, Sweet Ride..
It is a remote reservoir for the rear shock suspension and it is stock: www.sportrider.com/sportbikes/2009-honda-cbr600rr-c-abs-future-indicator#page-2
jackwednesday I know right. Such a great bike to start on. The options will now be the cheaper cb bikes or the very expensive Fireblades (well for the Honda range that is).
It sounds like you're saying "or" 13,000 rpm or whatever, those numbers are ___ kw/nm etc "AT" ____ rpm. It's where in the rpms that power level is reached, not 'or'
John Hudson Probably not, if you want to ride a bike like Saiyan's 600RR then have a look at something like the Kawasaki Ninja 300 as your first bike, or even the CBR 125 depending on your height, hope that helps.
John Hudson You should be fine with either, I can just flat foot a CBR 125 and I'm 5'7, inseam 30 inch so it looks like a normal/big sized bike when I'm on mine, I'd sit on one if I were you, my 6 foot friend at work made the bike look quite small! Haha, either way make sure your happy with the ergonomics before buying, hope that helps.
You’re a Norwich boy!! Yay! Great video. Am seriously thinking about getting into motorcycling (aware I shouldn’t start on a 600cc, but love this bike for a second bike)
+Ahmed Abdul It was, the first time I rode it back from the dealer. The only big bike I had ridden up to that point was a Honda Hornet 500cc. I had only ridden that bike four times - for the practical tests. After a couple of days though you get used to the increased power.
+Sup3rSaiy3n I saw some guy riding a black one of this on my daily commute into central London and thought what the..£@€# was that! and as i pulled up to it i saw the cbr 600rr decal :-). then i remembered you. i think the exhaust under the tail light and the sleek body does this for me every time. Ride safe :-)
+Sup3rSaiy3n i can't wait to be a fellow cbr 600rr rider! may be next year...fingers crossed. do you find it hard to clean the rear wheel arm in silver as my bike the silver gets tarnished or stained? have to use a scourer to clean it as much as possible. any ideas please?
+Nasha 1 Nice to hear. Cant say I find it hard to clean the wheel arm. It's never got stained or tarnished. It comes out a treat after using silicon spray too. I'll be uploading an update to my cleaning guide soon where I will clean this bike. Hopefully it helps. I would definitely invest in a paddock stand to clean the bike. Makes cleaning and lubing the chain more manageable.
Thanks mate This is my dream big too I will get it one day after i get my class 2 licence in singapore!! Thanks for the review mate Cheers have a good one! Love the exhaust and all the little add ons you've added
Erdal Keskin brake lever, the other is the clutch. They are from Performance parts and are called ASV levers. They are deemed 'unbreakable' but that's really due to how they work when you crash your bike. You can even change the colour of the adjusters!
Spirittism Thank you. I've never fallen off as such. I've dropped her while on her. Does that count as falling off? I think the bike does a good job in keeping you on the bike. I've had a tank slapper before that ended very quickly and I've slid up and down the seat due to jeans I wore but other than that it's pretty solid. The tank is quite large and provides ample room for you to grip her between your legs. Hope that helps.
im sorry for asking this but can you actually get 56.5 mpg on that bike?? i've been thinking of getting one but everyone, (people who have one) keep telling that they can't go above 40 mpg... Cause if you can actually get that mpg i need no more thinking i'll buy one!
Hi there I like your video and I love the repsol 600rr so I went out last Saturday and brought my cbr repsol 600rr and I pick it up tomorrow can not wait to ride it
xGipas The Akrapovic is a slip on at £680, the full system which gets rid of the cat and slightly improves performance is £1,730. I may get the titanium pipes sepearatley one day but atmo there are other much more important upgrades to get. Such as power commander, galfer discs, rear sets etc.
+preuomo It definitely draws attention to many non-bikers. It didn't draw much attention when I went to a bike meet up maybe because no-body there is looking to steal a bike or more people know what's worth more haha. If I lived in London I doubt I would own this bike as it draws more attention than the usual 1,000cc offerings. I'm lucky to live in one of the lowest crime rate counties.

beautiful bike and amazing review . I really wish i can get one one day

I own a CBR250r as my first bike in Canada just to get use to rules and traffic, but I'm planning to get the CBR 600rr Repsol edition this coming Feb.
Is it more comfortable then other 600s?
Jack Taylor I’ve never had other 600s so I can’t say but it was uncomfortable for the first 100 miles or so then got used to it for the next 16,000.
Sup3rSaiy3n cool. A really helpful review btw, thanks.
Get a quick release gas cap.
Is the Honda 600 rr a good beginner bike ?
Yeah, but all of the 'what you should start on' is opinion based, right?
Slacin' Ace I agree. I also think where you're from has a lot to do with it. In America you can do your test and ride a 600. Here in the UK you have to be 24yrs old before you can ride a 600. Also here the test for anything bigger than a 125 is the same as the 600 test so most people wait till they can do the 600 test and then choose whatever they feel comfortable with.
Haha you can be 15, and have a restriction to 250cc, but once your 16, the restriction is dropped. I'm thinking of getting ninja 300 until I move out of my parents'
which rear stand is that?
It's an R&G stand
you really like r&g eh? btw love your bike!
nice!
Omg i won't that bike 😎😎
Verry nice 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Don't know if I can trust a guy in crocks
+calvin Klick I know shooting the review bare foot would've been the better life choice hehe. Would it help if I said I never wear them on the bike. Please forgive.
Dont know if i can trust a guy that cant spell crocs
CBR✴
Very sexy bike you have there.
Look at that chicken strip!!
то чуство когда русский
+Денис Локатир Спасибо за просмотр
+Sup3rSaiy3n you good man and nice motorcycle
orange isn't a nice color but this bike makes it look wayyyyy tooo niceee
I use to own a cbr 600rr was my first bike passed my test in 2011 and jumped straight onto it loved it tbh kept it for around 2 years but I love the repsol who doesn't LOL
17:28 Same feelings bro. This is my dream bike too, I hope someday i can buy it.
great vid, good review. Have a nice day. :)
Whats the site where you order the frames sliders i been looking for some but none of fhe brands make it for abs models?
The best Japanese 600cc bike made!! IMO of course the only one better would be the Daytona 675 but thats about it.. Ive had two CBRs now and not a bad thing to say Great Wicked Awesome machine... I had my second one stretched 6inch over and with my motion pro throttle could straight power wheelie with 46 tooth sprocket... Keep Safe Lad,,,, Sweet Ride..
Derek Lane agreed. Favorite Japanese bike. Daytona 675r has the edge tho.
RPM is a measurement of engine revolutions per minute or 'revs' its not a measurement of power.
+Julius Reed Cheers.
Hello mate , what is the nitro bottle for at the back of the bike , thanks and lovely looking bike.
ride easy
Lol. Thats for the suspension. Thanks.
What do you mean for the suspension , don't understand ?
Whatever it is why is it not stock ?
Please go into a little more detail , thanks mate
It is a remote reservoir for the rear shock suspension and it is stock: www.sportrider.com/sportbikes/2009-honda-cbr600rr-c-abs-future-indicator#page-2
Sad they are killing the 600 class in the U.K.
jackwednesday I know right. Such a great bike to start on. The options will now be the cheaper cb bikes or the very expensive Fireblades (well for the Honda range that is).
not just uk
Yeah Sup...positively brilliant bike !....you are going to have a lot of fun navigating those rolling green hills!...
Is this the 2006 CBR600RR Repsol Edition? I don't recall hearing the year
Crocs ?! Bloody twit !
It sounds like you're saying "or" 13,000 rpm or whatever, those numbers are ___ kw/nm etc "AT" ____ rpm. It's where in the rpms that power level is reached, not 'or'
I'm very happy you're taking care of the bike
What are the CBR600RR’s like for a taller guy?? I’m 6ft 2 average build.... I’ve heard these are the most comfortable of the 600’s. Thanks
I’m 6ft and certainly fine on this one. Cant say the same for the older Fireblades. They are cramped.
Great bike... goku orange ;)
at the beginning it looks like you were missing somespokes
***** On both wheels?
Ayyy I’m up in Norwich and looking at getting one of these beauties
This bike looks sooooooo awesome! I want one! But i've never ridden a motorcycle before... :(
I owned the 96 model CBR900RR. Was a great bike.
but was it your first bike?
John Hudson Probably not, if you want to ride a bike like Saiyan's 600RR then have a look at something like the Kawasaki Ninja 300 as your first bike, or even the CBR 125 depending on your height, hope that helps.
FuryRC i'm 5'9" with a 32"-34" inseam
John Hudson You should be fine with either, I can just flat foot a CBR 125 and I'm 5'7, inseam 30 inch so it looks like a normal/big sized bike when I'm on mine, I'd sit on one if I were you, my 6 foot friend at work made the bike look quite small! Haha, either way make sure your happy with the ergonomics before buying, hope that helps.
I love my Repsol CBR....i can't ever see myself selling it. I've just ridden 14000km round Europe on it.
You’re a Norwich boy!! Yay! Great video. Am seriously thinking about getting into motorcycling (aware I shouldn’t start on a 600cc, but love this bike for a second bike)
Was it difficult or at the least quite strange, transitioning from a 125 to a 600cc bike?
+Ahmed Abdul It was, the first time I rode it back from the dealer. The only big bike I had ridden up to that point was a Honda Hornet 500cc. I had only ridden that bike four times - for the practical tests. After a couple of days though you get used to the increased power.
So whats the point of the nitrogen tank?
Hi are you still riding it. It's an amazing bike. i can't stop watching this video as that bike looks so sexy.
+Nasha 1 Yeah of course I am. Thanks for watching.
+Nasha 1 Nice story thank you for sharing. Yeah the tail exhaust was one of the most appealing factors for me. Love my bike. Ride safe too mate.
Makes cleaning and lubing the chain more manageable.
you need "hello and welcome" in the intro
Excellent review and great choice of bike!
Thanks mate
This is my dream big too
I will get it one day after i get my class 2 licence in singapore!!
Thanks for the review mate
Cheers have a good one! Love the exhaust and all the little add ons you've added
i like the brake levers. can you say where did you buy them?
Erdal Keskin brake lever, the other is the clutch. They are from Performance parts and are called ASV levers. They are deemed 'unbreakable' but that's really due to how they work when you crash your bike. You can even change the colour of the adjusters!
great, thanks.
great review bro, question have you ever fallen off, how easy would you say it is to fall off?
Spirittism Thank you. I've never fallen off as such. I've dropped her while on her. Does that count as falling off? I think the bike does a good job in keeping you on the bike. I've had a tank slapper before that ended very quickly and I've slid up and down the seat due to jeans I wore but other than that it's pretty solid. The tank is quite large and provides ample room for you to grip her between your legs. Hope that helps.
@@Sup3rSaiy3n Tank slapper? but doesn't that come with an electronically controlled steering dampener?
im sorry for asking this but can you actually get 56.5 mpg on that bike?? i've been thinking of getting one but everyone, (people who have one) keep telling that they can't go above 40 mpg...
Cause if you can actually get that mpg i need no more thinking i'll buy one!
Hi there I like your video and I love the repsol 600rr so I went out last Saturday and brought my cbr repsol 600rr and I pick it up tomorrow can not wait to ride it
is the exhaust slip on or full system?Awesome camera quality!
xGipas The Akrapovic is a slip on at £680, the full system which gets rid of the cat and slightly improves performance is £1,730. I may get the titanium pipes sepearatley one day but atmo there are other much more important upgrades to get. Such as power commander, galfer discs, rear sets etc.
What does power commander do ? fuel and stuff?Subbed cant wait next video with the best quality!
I live in NYC and this bike screams "STEAL ME!"
I'm lucky to live in one of the lowest crime rate counties.
you sound like Michael Owen
+Hugh G Rection Look like him too. Well a little taller.
Better looking cowl headlights than 1000rr,Bmw 1000,gsxr.Nice video pal:)
