Not to mention 4:55, how even if he truly was losing his balance, Zaza made no effort to try to avoid falling directly onto Russ. Sure, he may not have the direct intent to take somebody off the court for a couple of months, but you can tell this is a player who has zero problem with that as long as he gets the possession. That is a dirty player, possibly the dirtiest player in the NBA history.

Bill Laimbeer can’t hold a candle to Zaza. Look at 4:55 where he, not in the heat of the moment or by any attempt to exaggerate existing contact, blatantly tries to fall on Westbrook’s knee to seriously injure him. Bill Laimbeer and other “dirty” players would intentionally hit guys in the face, knock them down, etc, but NONE of them routinely and knowingly made genuine attempts to cause a career threatening injuries. Like Laimbeer, Artest, all these guys’ dirty plays were hard hip checks, swings to the face, the type of thing you do impulsively when you’re angry, or in an attempt to draw retaliation and anger. Zaza, on the other hand, directed everything towards causing serious injuries. He’d try to fall on your knee, step under your ankle, make you land on your neck, all calculated attempts to ruin a career or even threaten someone’s life. It’s truly a shame we never saw him suffer an injury like that himself
What's even more annoying about Zaza is that he literally doesn't do anything on the court. He can't shoot, he's not fast or athletic enough to play actual good defense, and he set tons of illegal screens for Curry with the Warriors. He was taking minutes away from good players like JaVale McGee on the Warriors just cause he played dirty...yeah JaVale might do the occasional stupid play but he can shoot, play defense, and he's a good rebounder.
