      Break Into CRE - debt funds, credit funds, hard money lenders?

      @@raymonds7695 agreed - debt funds were huge in 2019 and should have been added to this list. Thanks for the comment!

    really solid info, I own a laundromat that is leased but I think just owning the commercial strip and collecting rent is a lot better game.

    Great video as always. Can you make a new video discussing the pros and cons of different agency loans. For example, HUD, FHA, Fannie & Freddie. Thanks

    • @rich1958
      @rich1958 2 роки тому

      From the perspective of what is best for my clients, I always try Fannie/Freddie (conventional) and only if client "needs" FHA, do I go there. Many lenders can make more money on FHA and push even when not in the best interest of their clients. FHA loans have their place, but with good credit and 3-5% down, conventional usually is best in the long run.

    Loved the video but you forgot about Debt Funds and or Bridge Lenders. Lot of new bridge lenders in the market with CLO’s becoming popular products for high yield CRE backed fixed income

      Agreed - debt funds were a massive player in 2019 and beat out life companies for CRE mortgage market share, and they should have been included. Thanks for the feedback!

    Fantastic information all around. Even for those who have a fairly good knowledge base, it’s great to hear it broken down into simplistic language.

    I want to get into the mortgage industry and eventually be a loan officer. I've been told right now is not a good time to get in because of the market. I want to get in because I want to work with the best in the times of crisis. In your opinion what would be a good entry level job with no experience that could get my foot in the door?

      @BreakIntoCRE  4 роки тому +2

      @@Bennifilms I like debt funds right now with pricing as high as it is - you can find high yields while protecting your downside in the process.

    Hey Justin! Any insight into how lucrative a loan originator role at a GSE-approved firm could potentially be? I'm considering one that would enable me to originate Senior Housing, SNF, and Multifamily agency loans. Do you know of anyone personally that has done really well in this type of role? Do you have any experience?
