Can’t explain how powerful and helpful your content is. I’m currently working for the largest developer in my country but I’m learning more here thanks 🙏🏽
Great video as always. Can you make a new video discussing the pros and cons of different agency loans. For example, HUD, FHA, Fannie & Freddie. Thanks
From the perspective of what is best for my clients, I always try Fannie/Freddie (conventional) and only if client "needs" FHA, do I go there. Many lenders can make more money on FHA and push even when not in the best interest of their clients. FHA loans have their place, but with good credit and 3-5% down, conventional usually is best in the long run.
Loved the video but you forgot about Debt Funds and or Bridge Lenders. Lot of new bridge lenders in the market with CLO’s becoming popular products for high yield CRE backed fixed income
Agreed - debt funds were a massive player in 2019 and beat out life companies for CRE mortgage market share, and they should have been included. Thanks for the feedback!
Great content! Can you please make a video discussing how a make crash can effect multi-unit investors I'm looking to purchase my first multi unit property but I'm a little hesitant because of what will happen if the market crashes
I want to get into the mortgage industry and eventually be a loan officer. I've been told right now is not a good time to get in because of the market. I want to get in because I want to work with the best in the times of crisis. In your opinion what would be a good entry level job with no experience that could get my foot in the door?
Break Into CRE Yeah, probably the better choice. I have a question about your academy - does it include 1-1 mentorship? Looking to start a PERE/Syndication firm in the next 4-5 years, would love for you to help me out with my plan.
Hey Justin! Any insight into how lucrative a loan originator role at a GSE-approved firm could potentially be? I'm considering one that would enable me to originate Senior Housing, SNF, and Multifamily agency loans. Do you know of anyone personally that has done really well in this type of role? Do you have any experience?
Any lenders I missed? Let me know in the comments. Thanks for watching!
Break Into CRE - debt funds, credit funds, hard money lenders?
@@raymonds7695 agreed - debt funds were huge in 2019 and should have been added to this list. Thanks for the comment!
How about direct lenders?
CDFIs is a really important one

Thank you, Justin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your 3rd section "CMBS" helped explain terms that I have been struggling to understand.
Thank you for putting so much information in 8mm. Direct to the point. Love it.
really solid info, I own a laundromat that is leased but I think just owning the commercial strip and collecting rent is a lot better game.

..annnnd that lasted about 24 months
I am working with GNMA portfolio and I want you to make some basic videos about them
Fantastic information all around. Even for those who have a fairly good knowledge base, it’s great to hear it broken down into simplistic language.
It would be nice to see a video on careers in this space and would would make a good analyst.
Lots of videos on CRE careers on this channel - I'd recommend this playlist to start: ua-cam.com/video/iEb6E7FXk9w/v-deo.html
Very helpful! Thank you!

Thanks for watching, Van!
I have been working in residential mortgage industry for 20 years. Any suggestions on how to transition to commercial lending?
Excellent explanations. Thank you!

I’d you can learn to do good in a bad market you will always succeed
You missed Alternative lenders/PE firms??
Great point - Debt funds hit a first in 2019 by beating out life companies in CRE mortgage share, so it would have made sense to include them. Thanks!
Break Into CRE Yeah, they are really trending right now... What do you think is the Better investment - Debt funds vs Equity funds?
@@Bennifilms I like debt funds right now with pricing as high as it is - you can find high yields while protecting your downside in the process.

@@Bennifilms yes, the Academy includes one-on-one email coaching. Would be happy to help you formulate your strategy.
