The Jsettes look like high school students. The only one I recognize from last year is Shelby and I thought she would hae been the Captain this year. The band looks to be comprised of mostly freshmen, too.

During band camp, the freshmen mainly prepare separately from the upperclassmen. The Merge is their first time merging together and playing as one band. Thus, “the Merge.”
Why yall get in your feelings time anybody say anything about the settes? While those same mad individuals be on every other dance team videos trolling. The settes don’t get a pass just like nobody else hell they look sloppy and off and idgaf how nobody feel. The captain lacks confidence to me which is normal for a first appearance upfront. The team doesn’t look as 1 at all. The freshmen aren’t comfortable with basics such as marching “salt and pepper” and last but not least the march out was boring af sorry not sorry idk idk maybe we are trolling or MAYBE we just know dance and giving honest critiques😬.
Nobody is in their feelings; it starts to get really irksome when comments like these are made at the merge of all things, considering it is everyone's first appearance for the year. If you found the march out to be boring, that's fine and dandy, because at the end of the day, you're entitled to your opinion and have to sit with it. However, calling the J-Settes sloppy and off? That is a huge reach. Is there room for improvement, of course, especially with the freshman because, not every freshman coming in is comfortable with the style and often let nerves get the best of them. Y'all never let these ladies grow and do this every year but sing a different tune when the actual games come around. And lastly, more than half of the "critics" don't even dance themselves, let alone apart of a majorette squad, which is the funny part, but sit up in the comments and have the nerve to critique. So no, there's nothing "honest" about what you said.

I don’t mind a female drum major but I just don’t like the unfair treatment. If y’all allow female drum majors then you should also allow guys to j-sette. Often times they will bend the rules for women to do what’s mostly done by men but not the other way around.
