Well, got through the hero story. Yeah I still don’t like this game, it definitely needs a remake. I love the story, but god damnit I wanna play it and not have to fight the controls the whole time, the level design isn’t even that bad
A ranks aren't too hard, for mission 1 you need to get an certain amount of points, mission 2 you have to get 100 rings in a time to get an A rank (for example you need to get 100 rings in 2 minutes for A in crazy gadget) mission 3 get the lost chao in a certain amount of mins for an a rank, mission 4 and 5 are the same as 1, except 4 has a time limit.

A lot the comments not fans of this level but it was my favourite at the time when you get to the point when this level feels like a breeze very satisfying. I favor Final Rush these days though.

23 years later this is still the most hated level on this game for its infomus second half with the color blocks. This level makes Final Rush look like a joke.

This stage/zone is similar to the Death Egg Zone in Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It has platforms for switching the direction of gravity!
Except this can be done, in about half the time.

Some of them are pretty hard, but basically just make sure you get as many points as possible while also going as fast as you can.

That part with the 4 spark beetle robots followed by a trail of rings was too much for me as a kid.
That homing-attack-onto-flying-enemies-then-light-dash-onto-a-trail-of-rings combo becomes more common and mandatory in Sonic Heroes.
