I get emotional when I hear this song. Being a vet and just reminiscing on days past with brothers that are no longer here with us, it just strikes a different cord with me. I love Gunship. rest easy my brothers until Valhalla.
Gunship is one of the best bands currently. So underrated. The videos are always so much fun! I love how 80s synth music is making a come back. Check out the band Lebrock for that pure 80s movie soundtrack sound. Also, the name of the song was from the 80s movie, the Breakfast Club. It was a big reference in the video.
That was great - the references I think I got are: Jaws, Bill and Ted, Rambo, Rocky, Die Hard, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Breakfast Club, Commando, Kickboxer, Blade Runner, They Live. I probably missed a lot.
Thanks so much for doing this one! :) I agree that you should check out "Dark All Day" by Gunship. It is vampire themed with a focus on The Lost Boys. It even features Tim Cappello (the sax guy from Lost Boys)!
After enjoying you discovering so many new bands, we thought we would let you introduce us to a new one. We had never heard of gunship. Thank you for this video. We love them.
Check out fly for your life by gunship.. The video is amazing.. Its about two ww2 pilots who lose their humanity in the process of war Another new one is black blood, red kiss.. It features Kat Von D the tattoos artist singing with them
Synthwave and Darkwave... got into this gene recently. Great workout music. some other artists i like... DANCE OF THE DEAD - CARPENTER BRUT - SCANDROID - OCILLIAN - POWERCYAN
I been listening to Synthwave and I found this song today and it's amazing Fly for your Life is another Gunship song I love I'd always see these Gunship vids but for some reason I'd click on everything else but them for years.. The Midnight was my favorite but now I think I like Gunship better.. Tough call
For a different kind of throwback, I'll recommend a great little Japanese all-female band called The Let's Go's, who play fast-paced, energetic, 100 mph, fun punky music with a classic 70s sound - who still manage to sound fresh and modern. This is a video they put out a couple of weeks ago called "Feel Like It" ua-cam.com/video/Za98RjpKnK8/v-deo.html I love these girls, after finding them a couple of months ago, and I hope you will too. Enjoy!
Great reaction . . . just one thing -- The answer to anything referencing Snake Plisskin is: "Escape From New York". The latter should never be spoken about again.
Hey TNT, love your reactions...just wanted to add something that may have been missed on your Hurt -Johnny Cash video...thought the Johnny version was beautiful, the song was originally witten and preformed by Trent Reznor (his band Nine Inch Nailes)
Hey guys, your lists may be vast...but consider - Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains as two major artists that were headliners for the Grunge revolution in the 90's
Just watched this reaction. Fly for your life video (has ww2 pilots) and gates of disorder (stranger things fan film). Both are freaking awesome . Not a patreon yet.,,but it's awesome music.

The guy in the arcade is a close friend of mine. True story, he also does the vocals for the Omen/Shadow Jago theme in the video game Killer Instinct.

Hell yeah breakfast club
Gunship is such a cool band. I really wish Synthwave, as a genre, was more well-known.
easily my favourite song right now, it absolutely bangs
I miss the arcades too. From kung fu Master and Gyruss to Double Dragon and Golden Axe. I miss those days
Gunship - Dark all Day is awesome as well with a rad video

The song may be a shot back to the 80s, but goodness it still can hit hard. Existential feelings man.
Check out fly for your life by gunship..

The guy who did the Kickboxer part was Demetrius Mighty Mouse Johnson
He's like P4P the best MMA fighter
this song is so so good. all gunship is good, but you want a heavy dose of 80s nostalgia? queue it up!
Dark All Day mate, amazing song and video!

Lead singer of fight star Charlie Simpson had a little piece on the tech noir song...

Most of our NIN and Aic reactions have been banned and blocked on youtube
@@TheAdventuresofTNT Sorry to hear that, perhaps just enjoying them on your own and sharing with friends will do 😉
