WOW... This is such a beautiful version! My husband is a Leeds United fan. Before we got married we lived in separated countries. He used to write love letters (emails) to me and somehow he would always end up talking about Leeds United in almost every one of them! I didn’t even know who/what Leeds United were. We have been married for over 18 years and he still talks about Leeds. We are not in the UK and omg, the amount of trouble he goes through in order to watch the games! All sorts of subscriptions and stuff! Anyway, he loves Leeds, he talks about Leeds and follows them no matter where in the world we are. I love him, so I don’t care. I think this week I have, at last, understood what it means to be a Leeds United supporter. It really is moving to learn about their journey, listening to the songs and watching the videos. This week has been all about the games, the table, who’s playing who and all that... At last they are back in the Premier league and I think I am their newest fan! Watching the documentary and hearing this song really got to me, seeing how much it meant to the players and what they all went through that season showed how much they cared, we get to make it right this week against Barnsley, 17 years i've been waiting for this, through the O'Leary team getting ripped apart, nearly going out of existence, terrible owner after terrible owner, countless managers and players who didn't really care, losing to Watford in the playoffs, going down to league one, 25 point deduction, losing to Doncaster in the playoffs and so many bad results but we are so close now, come on LEEDS!

Leeds are punching above their weight, they don't have the likes of top players and neither do they have the financial might of Real Madrid or Manchester City or even Spurs, but it's amazing how well the players are doing and what Bielsa has done. I hope they win some trophies make good use of the finances to make necessary star transfers. Would love to see them in the UEFA competitions. Hope that happens in next two years. Was amazed with the show "Take us home - leeds United". My loyalty lies with my clubs, but this has built a soft corner in my heart for Leeds. My Dad, Brother, Nephew and several close friends are Leeds Fans in fact the city itself brings back happy memories and excitement to come for me, I’m not a Leeds fan (Halifax Fan) but goddammit they are such a fantastic club that even some of the most bitter haters can’t help but respect, that’s what football should be, love, respect, passion and a lot of humour and banter to go with it, somedays it doesn’t feel like it anymore but like Life every now and again I remember what it is about Football and life I enjoy, thank you Shadowlark and Leeds good luck in The Championship however long it takes to get back to the prem again, we’ll be waiting for you.
