《宝玉夜探》 was the first 蒋曲 I learned to play and sing. “杜十娘” was the second 开篇. I was courageous enough to sing this with my neighbors OUTDOOR in the hot summer days in Shanghai because I was only 13-14. That was more, much more, than half of a century ago. I still remember most of the lines. I wish you can hear me singing right now along with these masters. I have lived in foreign countries for more, much more, than half of a century. To be very honest, 评弹 is one of those things that I miss about China most. 啊(-口)拉是上海人.
怀念主持人的一口苏南官白,牵动许多儿时的回忆。
这些个改编过的评弹曲目是精挑细选过的,主要是为了增加年轻人和非传统受众的接受度。 轻音乐和部分选词的改编也是几代评弹人对传统曲目改革和创新的尝试,不能仅以个人喜好来定论。
以个人经历来说,传统评弹自70年代后已经基本绝迹市井文化,难得电台和电视台还有坚持定期播放,但是,评弹的说唱使故事情节冗长,一个选节下来,故事进度寥寥,对比评书和京剧,节奏慢较,也就是主持人讲的慢板,传统曲目基本是占据慢板的大部的,欣赏者不单需要语言的贯通,而且需要对南方文化背景的了解。
若非家中有长辈坚持听评弹,我根本就不可能对她它有兴趣,且父辈们之中,已经无人坚持这个传统了。 据我了解,老辈的兴趣也是年幼时,每到周末被他们的长辈带去听戏而养成的。 30年代的戏院听戏,一去就是大半天,还带中午饭和下午的逛街。 现代人,除了男女谈朋友,才可能会有那么多时间花在玩上。 80年代的年轻一代,大多在外滩逛逛,会玩的,到了周末,约上玩伴,找个市中心商场或者百货边上的舞厅,喝咖啡,可乐,听歌,跳舞,再看看有没有内部交流的录像,😅。 还记得我家管得严,有个长辈为了谈恋爱,以带我去博物馆,少年宫为名,早出晚归,我因此可以大口吃遍了几乎所有市中心舞厅的冰激凌,看到众多贴着内参交流标签的港台片。
我自小更喜欢京剧,尤其是老生的戏目,几番思量也不得原因,一定要细究可能主要原因是幼儿园的老师都来自北京,因此更喜欢慢字悠长的京腔。

蒋月泉确实是宗师,所谓以传人自居者也确实是一蟹不如一蟹。蒋月泉可能是最早做音配像的了,这些录像,除了《沈方哭更》,大约全是配像的。《沈方哭更》剪了仄声韵的篇子,算是遗憾;《梅竹》配了音乐,那就是佛头着粪了。

為什麼要另加音樂聲伴奏?評彈不是原就有三弦及琵琶的伴奏嗎?
想得出另加音樂聲的主意,就是“煮鶴焚琴“之舉。
幸而聽下去,只第一段加了什麼音樂聲!真是幸免。
