This time I do a complete restoration of a beautiful Rolex Datejust with a Jubilee Diamond Dial and Rolex 2135 movement. The watch came with water damage to the dial and the mechanism. Replacing a dial like this, especially a jubilee dial with diamonds would be extremely difficult to achieve and very expensive. So in this video a repair and service the watch and clean up the dial to almost it's original condition.

Wow! As usual another great video. I will share this with my friend maybe he can service his Date just lol. I put it on my timegrapher it is -85 s/d with a beat error of 0.4 it badly needs service. Funny thing is he's been wearing the Восток Амфибия I sold him last year and it's keeping perfect time for him. Talk about going from a Rolls to a Chevy. I have found watch collecting to be about happiness, fun, and your own identity. Half the fun is research, and saving up to buy the watch. Money from cheap to luxury prices really doesn't matter.

Lubricants. I had a customer that sold Aimsoil and he changed his filter every 5k miles and oil every 30k. I recently had my late grandfather's Rolex 1950s Shock Resisting gold repaired to running condition - got fleeced by a "master" watchmaker who cut corners and overcharged. Got a partial refund and its now with a proper watchmaker. Brilliant piece of design and engineering - love the watch.
