- International Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director Christine Lagarde asked for a meeting with Malaysia's premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on the sidelines of the Asean Summit in Singapore on Nov 14. Lagarde asked Malaysia for its advice on governance following the last general election.
look at Ahn Sang Su Kyi's face next to Tun haha...she seemed uncomfortable since Tun was vocal n critical about the rohingya situation..and how gentlemen was Tun to let her walk off first lol
Organiser (Singapore) probably arranged the seating that way, to send a political message without being the bad guy... #slowclap #wellplayed
in a way we understand her constraint as most of her supporters are against acknowledging the Rohingyas but the least that she could do is stop the violence and plan for peaceful resolution of the crisis, which she has not done at all
Tun Dr M is truly a great leader, man of high calibre and courageous man to speak out all those oppressed, in UN he voiced up for Palestinians. He is a man who is working beyond his self interest. May Allah bless him to see Malaysia developed as a developed nation soon - wawasan 2020.
Muhammed Muhyiddeen he also released 11 Uyghurs, which China asked Malaysia to be deported back to China and were held under Najib’s Malaysia for more than one year.
Everyone knows who is Mahathir and what he had done to overcome 1998 economic crisis. His strong voice heard all over the world. This is my gentleman and respectful Prime Minister!
0:53 the look on Tun M's face here is priceless. "Im here to take names and kick ass" lol
Najib supporters wont believe it...they think our country at its best under Najib...hahahaha

He will say “ you’re not being fair to me!”
you can't blame them... they are still high on dedrug.

They finally recognized Malaysia achievement under Dr Mahathir during monetary crisis in the 1990s n now Malaysia effort under the his leadership over good governance n institutional reforms in minimizing or eradicating corrupt practices n culture.
Firhat Anubis asking for advice from a person who allow rm1000k as basic wage.. they should ask australia and canada leader instead. embarrasment
@@welcometolife4237 When the country's financial health improves, I believe they will raise it. They just took over not long ago then you expect more money to drop from the sky? Be fair la give them time. If never improve then vote them out, that's what democracy is.
why IMF never consult najib on how to destroy a country financially?
It's an honour for Tun and Malaysia.
Do Malaysians proud! Thank you, Tun M ❤️❤️
Once again... Standing in the eyes of the world.
World class leadership! Long live Tun!
Then the imf md should resign
Do you think by resigning will solve all the problems in IMF?🤔🤔🤔
@@FurryCheetah-tf2du obviously not but the point is why the need to have such useless head as she stills need to seek advice from a small country like malaysia
Wow what a news
How you know she's asking advice on good governance?...maybe she's asking for a piece of rosmahs limited edition Berkins or the missing ingredient for Asam laksa?
See even French leader of IMF want to learn how to cook Mee Goreng without breaking the bowl from our El Commandante

Whaaat!! Is d caption believable?
But najib said malaysia is not corrupt...hhahaha...all corruption are fake...hahahahah. I am proud to be a Malaysian now.
Malaysia was lucky to have him in 1997. Unfortunately many countries followed the IMF and ended up poorer than they used to be
Learn from experience. The correct person to ask. Hidup tun
What an IRONIC coming from IMF.
Why IMF seeks advice? Should be countries seek advice. Btw the Myanmar lady looks depressed.

To be honest as an Malaysian, economy is getting worst after mahathir took over. We can blame Najib on the bad economy. But mahathir government continues to suck people money by implementing SST and 5% rpgt tax on property sold. Prices of goods has increased. It funny to ask for his advice. And is this news true?
To be honest as a malaysian, the sh!t left by Ah jib n co is too much, & needed major cleanup.
To be honest too, im happy that umno n be.end have fall down hard
The economy is sinking , mahathir and the government still want to suck more money from us just like Najib did. Soon you will feel it. He can't figure out anything to improve the situation. I think he is more interested on getting attention and popular internationally.
道高一尺魔高一丈。never ending story
