- The Russia-Ukraine catastrophe is in a way already a world war and if leaders are not “smart” it will result in a nuclear battle, former US President Donald Trump says as the “best predictor of things ever”.
Mr Trump said his message for Russia’s Vladimir Putin would be to tell him his action are a “shame” while spruiking a change of diplomatic tactics.
“They’re dealing with him incorrectly, I think what they’re saying - it’s almost like they’re speaking with fear,” Mr Trump said.
“Our leaders are not smart.
“If they’re not smart, you’re going to end up in a nuclear war - this is just the beginning.”
“We have one weapon alone that would destroy everything.”
Mr Trump told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan when he was president and Mr Putin spoke of potentially invading Ukraine, he said he “threatened him like he has never been threatened before”.
He stopped short of confirming that threat involved nuclear weapons.
He also spoke of his confrontation with Kim Jong Un during his tenure in office, recounting his threat about the existence of a red “nuclear button” on his desk.
Call me old fashioned, but I miss the days when US Presidents were lucid and capable of speaking complete sentences

I'm an American myself. I followed Trump's term very closely. Your comments on Donald Trump being just as weak and incoherent as Joe Biden whenever he (Trump) was involved in international summits, are stories that are just outright false. Some of these instances you're citing are things no Americans has ever even heard of. The moments you're mentioning that were taken from Trump's travels abroad are instances that never actually happened. You may want to question your news sources because several of the examples you're giving me drawing close comparisons to Joe Biden are mostly things that never actually happened. Even the minor miscues that he really did commit seem to have been grossly overstated. Again, reassess your news sources because many of the stories you're countering me with seem to have all been either grossly exaggerated, heavily manipulated/edited, or manufactured outright, by international news outlets hostile to Donald Trump in the first place. Networks who had zero intention of providing their citizens with accurate reporting
