PSN Soma, you know that mixing Shortbow kp with Final Measure is a bad idea right!? It defuses your bombs too. If you throw a bomb to your feet and insta dodge it will defuse it and most people in Last Stand spam nades so it affects PvP alot aswell.
Great vid marco, thank you. It's actually nice to see that so many are in the tier 2 list. From everything I have seen so far I have the impression that more options are viable in 1.6. I like this because it permits for different play styles for different players.

I'm happy to see strikers getting a small bump in effectiveness even though the set didn't change at all. With the addition of Crit Chance to SMGs in PTS4, I'm looking forward to trying out a MP7 or MP5 Navy with Strikers :)

Great vid: So I am running DeadEye with 2 Sentry Call and I have to say the damage on this is pretty crazy for me if you have your talents set right and have the gun mods with Crit Hit Damage on some of the mods. Running pulse and the health boost as well you can get a lot of damage, even with assault rifle.
lol, i bought 2 cassidy's with the lonestar idea in mind as soon as they said named weapons would be "exotics" and have special abilities. Glad to see it works well
Hey Marco great video as usual! I wholeheartedly agree about the Striker Set. It'll be defiantely the new prime set for most. I've been playing around a lot on PTS with Striker + Bullfrog (tried with the Stability roll on backpack too) and it shreds everything in its path. Tactician is gonna rock too for Electronics build...Seeker Mine galore here we come! Sentry however I'd still put in Tier 1 simply because of its sinergy with the newly buffed Urban MDR. That lovely ar hits devastatignly hard with 3 stacks and a status, and headshotting with it is not hard at all in my experience. It's kinda interesting that the strongest sets are the oldest in the game now hehe. Keep up the good work man!

TBH one of the biggest problems with final measure is, in Pvp and Pve, you will eat your TEAMAMTES grenades. I understand a nuetrals grenade but c'mon massive. u couldnt add a line of code into the gearset, telling it not to eat ur teammates nades? i have literally had a FM build i was going against in the DZ save my life b/c he ate his teammates frag that wouldve killed me lol, the set is only tier 3 b/c of its use in pve
Could we please petition Massive to add a feature in the settings that disables you from going rogue, like all your bullets just go through non-rogue players like team members until they go rogue on you? Im always solo and love chasing rogues but whenever i attempt to kill one i hit another player in a four man then get focused down even though im accidental making me wait to respawn, lose funds and keys + I dont get any credit when they kill the manhunts leaving me in a shitty mood because i just wasted my time.

I've always ran 2pc nomads, mainly because I couldn't acquire a pair of skull mc gloves. very helpful solo. lone star seems like it could have an interesting build.
MarcoStyle yeah, the skull mc gloves is one of the most powerful pieces in the game in my opinion. Add so much damage! With high-end build, I can make a solo build, skill build, DPS build, anything!
While I do find tier two level fun, at times, even tier one type of fun in the Hunter’s Faith gear set. I do understand why this set needs a re-work as you proposed. I propose that the Hunter Faith gear set transitions from being a face tank type of gear set and becomes more of a “Flak jacket/Explosive specialist” type of gear set. Two piece gear set bonus - Provides one additional grenade to each grenade slot. Meaning you will have +1 in all of your grenade inventory slots. Just so this doesn’t become too nade spammy, the grenades used will still be spent from your inventory; unlike the Final Measure’s four piece, where you get unlimited grenades. Three piece gear set bonus - This one can be simple, delays enemies’ incoming explosives timers. This will be a great way to combat the “Shortbow Championship pads” while also showing why having gear set’s bonuses can be more beneficial than having a certain standalone Named/High End piece. This would also bring a breath of fresh air into a lack luster set. This to me, is just an overall great talent/bonus that could be utilized in this type of game. Four piece gear set bonus - Just like how the Hunter’s Faith four piece currently functions so should this four piece. The difference being, it should dampen the incoming explosive damage for your squad mates. This imo, should go beyond just grenade based explosive damage types but also include seeker mines, sticky bombs, etc. The amount of damage that can be stacked by the player landing shots could be maxed to a set limit as to not nullify all explosive damage in the game. Additionally, to keep this gear set from just being an overall great gear set without any drawbacks, we can add in some caveats where the player wearing the gear set doesn’t benefit from the explosive damage de-buff themselves. A step further for this four piece could be that the player themselves will receive the grenade damage de-buff, but can only de-buff one explosive at a time or per max grenade build up (from the player landing shots). There’s various ways you can work with this set bonus. I do understand that this re-work may not be what brings back that cover based tactical shooter feel in the game. However, I do believe that this would add something refreshing to the game while making an under-utilized gear set a more interesting one. Along with making the Hunter’s Faith gear set feel more impactful for your team and not only for yourself. I hope this sparks ideas on what type of Hunter's Faith re-work could be done to make this set feel more useful to more players.

i know this vid is old but you have to remember that the defence set might get rid of the shield mod extra bonuses but it does NOT change the shield's hp or damage bonus. so if you use an assault shield you wont get the reload speed or stability bonus but you do still get that nice 20% bonus damage.

All high end is the best in 1.5 (wayyyy more utility than AB, almost the same damage output) and will continue to be the best in 1.6 Marco shouldve addressed them in video honestly
dps doesn't mean sht :3 high end are always the best but it's the hardest to get them in good stats. Alphabridge god-roll gear is way easier to get than to get named gear.

It is very clear you above most of the other content creators understand better the mechanics and how they should be implemented to make the game better, fairer and more balanced for PvP, which is really the major problem in this game the PvE side has largely been fixed with the previous balancing at least for now.
Lonestar always had to be build specifically around its talent. 2x of the same lmg (rip balanced on lmgs so u need to add accuracy instead) or shotgun and u are good to go. The thing is lonestar is better than any other set in long fights since nothing can beat its sustain damage and u had to play with that in mind. Also the reason why cassidy and lonestar felt so good on pts is that extra stamina is not required anymore and u better use 3 - 4 firearms especially with shotguns or sniper rifles because scalings... I myself used mg5 instead of cassidy and enjoyed lonestar a lot. I just want people to know that almost every set is viable in 1.6 and difference between marco's tier 1 and tier 2 is minor. Don't chase numbers and try to use anything u have in mind. You will come up with something fun and really usefull like I did with lonestar in 1.5.
Apparently Marcostyle didn't get melted by deadeye player in Last stand. The build is solid, and the zoom in issue is simply solved with different scope, which there are scopes that doesn't necessarily hinder your ability to see like you normally do. As for strikers, it could be good if you have good aim and control over your weapon and enemy just stand still to confront you. But we will see.

I'll say this about Deadeye though... You don't have to have a long range scope. As long as you're zoomed in with an optic of some kind, you're getting the 100% crit hit bonus. So just use a short range optic on a marksman rifle and you're getting the bonus without really reducing your turn speed. Just use the SOCOM MK 17 like an assault rifle.
Great video as always Marco. I do have to say, I think the approach to Hunters Faith is off the mark, regardless of how popular that style is in that particular region. They are playing the build wrong simply put. The key to Hunters Faith as its four piece works currently is not sustained damage, its Rate of Fire. Hunters Faith should be played with the highest possible ROF and therefore the Famas is the key to HF being a 2 Tier Build. With it, and the appropriate talents of course, you are able to trade damage with even some of the strongest raw damage builds. Beyond that, a HF Build in this Alpha meta meant that my Alphas were stronger than their opponents (in 1.4-1.5). With no change to this set, I would be shocked if it also did not perform well in 1.6. Great video my friend. Perhaps you can cruise HF Rate of Fire for just a few hours before the PTS ends; if not, maybe in 1.6. I'm already looking forward to the next video. **Credit UE for their approach to this build.
MarcoStyle I see where you're coming from and that makes a lot of since, however I liken the higher rate of Fire approach versus the more powerful "distance approach" to something more like your Reclaimer healer build with overdose versus defib in that frequency (though weaker) will trump a more powerful heal (or in this case, a shield).
I haven't checked in the pts but in 1.5 deadeye worked with a red dot or holo. So zooming in didn't effect you. Took a little while to get used to zooming before shooting. It was pretty effective though even on console.

the deadeye set is really good, im a distance sniper, who now uses a semi auto marksman rifle with 250k damage per shot

Striker is great on console. That 20% stability from the two piece makes keeping rounds on target easy. Probably my favorite set.
I love using the new AB. It let me build the way I want and still have all my talents on my sniper and mp7 combo

All high end is the best in 1.5 (wayyyy more utility than AB, almost the same damage output) and will continue to be the best in 1.6 Marco shouldve addressed them in video honestly
Banana Twist alphas better than high end in 1.5 lmaoooo you can't get near as much dps compared to alpha
dps doesn't mean sht :3 high end are always the best but it's the hardest to get them in good stats. Alphabridge god-roll gear is way easier to get than to get named gear.

It is very clear you above most of the other content creators understand better the mechanics and how they should be implemented to make the game better, fairer and more balanced for PvP, which is really the major problem in this game the PvE side has largely been fixed with the previous balancing at least for now.

Lonestar always had to be build specifically around its talent. 2x of the same lmg (rip balanced on lmgs so u need to add accuracy instead) or shotgun and u are good to go. The thing is lonestar is better than any other set in long fights since nothing can beat its sustain damage and u had to play with that in mind. Also the reason why cassidy and lonestar felt so good on pts is that extra stamina is not required anymore and u better use 3 - 4 firearms especially with shotguns or sniper rifles because scalings... I myself used mg5 instead of cassidy and enjoyed lonestar a lot.
I just want people to know that almost every set is viable in 1.6 and difference between marco's tier 1 and tier 2 is minor. Don't chase numbers and try to use anything u have in mind. You will come up with something fun and really usefull like I did with lonestar in 1.5.
Apparently Marcostyle didn't get melted by deadeye player in Last stand. The build is solid, and the zoom in issue is simply solved with different scope, which there are scopes that doesn't necessarily hinder your ability to see like you normally do. As for strikers, it could be good if you have good aim and control over your weapon and enemy just stand still to confront you. But we will see.

used tactician the first time on 1.3 for farming dragons nest. Been using it ever since.

I'll say this about Deadeye though... You don't have to have a long range scope. As long as you're zoomed in with an optic of some kind, you're getting the 100% crit hit bonus. So just use a short range optic on a marksman rifle and you're getting the bonus without really reducing your turn speed. Just use the SOCOM MK 17 like an assault rifle.
Great video as always Marco. I do have to say, I think the approach to Hunters Faith is off the mark, regardless of how popular that style is in that particular region. They are playing the build wrong simply put.
The key to Hunters Faith as its four piece works currently is not sustained damage, its Rate of Fire.
Hunters Faith should be played with the highest possible ROF and therefore the Famas is the key to HF being a 2 Tier Build. With it, and the appropriate talents of course, you are able to trade damage with even some of the strongest raw damage builds.
Beyond that, a HF Build in this Alpha meta meant that my Alphas were stronger than their opponents (in 1.4-1.5).
With no change to this set, I would be shocked if it also did not perform well in 1.6.
Great video my friend. Perhaps you can cruise HF Rate of Fire for just a few hours before the PTS ends; if not, maybe in 1.6.

MarcoStyle I see where you're coming from and that makes a lot of since, however I liken the higher rate of Fire approach versus the more powerful "distance approach" to something more like your Reclaimer healer build with overdose versus defib in that frequency (though weaker) will trump a more powerful heal (or in this case, a shield).
I would like to see your version of a high end build!
I haven't checked in the pts but in 1.5 deadeye worked with a red dot or holo. So zooming in didn't effect you. Took a little while to get used to zooming before shooting. It was pretty effective though even on console.
