I've watched a few videos done by backpackers filming the Rae Lakes loop. It's on my Bucket List. None of them captured the joyful camaraderie of a bunch of men sharing an epic hike like yours does. The segment about the "fluffer-nutter on a carb vehicle" is priceless.
This comment made my day Gary, thank you so much. I really hope you get a chance to get out there with some good friends and make some memories. That fluffer-nutter was so good! lol I had no idea
@@chaseadventures I've done three multi-day trips to Yosemite, one in Eagle Cap/Wallowa in Oregon, and two other in Colorado…and I have another six or so Yosemite trips researched and planned out. Some of the best memories of my life is being with the men on these adventures. But fluffer-nutter must be an acquired taste. LOL. It would take a LOT of water to wash that down. Happy Trails, Chase.
@@garyji lol yea it's different. Those sound like some amazing trips you've been on and some fun things to look forward to. The plan is to do the Rim to Rim to Rim in April and the some mountaineering in the PNW next summer. I'll bring along the camera!
Awesome video! Kings Canyon really is an underrated NP. It’s so easy to get into the back country there and get away from it all. I go there all the time as I live about an hour away. Thanks for sharing. Doesn’t get much better than the Sierra and some good buddies.
Wow that's amazing Nat, I'm jealous! Thanks for the kind words 🙂
So good! Best part of the JMT!
Absolutely awesome video. Breathtaking scenery captured very well. keep up the good work.
Greetings from JAPAN.👍👍
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it :-) Filming is a lot easier with so many beautiful things to point the camera at. I had a look at your videos too, really neat to see mountains in other parts of the world!
Very well edited and engaging video 👏
Thank you! Looking forward to making a few more of these in the New Year
This one has been on the list for a while now. Great footage. Thanks for sharing.
That's really nice of you to say, thank you! Welcome to the channel 🙂
You have some beautiful shots in there! Keep it up. We are both in the same boat of creating new channels. Best of luck!
Thank you so much and best of luck to you too!
Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park has some amazing views and trails! Great trip!
Yeah no kidding, just amazing everywhere you look. Thanks for the kind words! Appreciate ya!
The Fluff...so good!
You know I was skeptical to be honest but DANG it was good! Haha
Nice
Thanks Kaizen!
Good😍😍😍
Thanks 🙂
What an amazing place. 👏.
So true Erick
Wow Amazing place to hike 🥰😍🥰😍
Greetings from Pacific
Hi there! Yeah it was such an amazing place, I'm looking forward to getting back to the Sierra's soon. I've got my calendar out planning all of the future adventures as we speak. I'm sure there are some amazing hikes in the Pacific too!
Great video and quality
Hey thanks so much! It was a lot of fun making it.
Amazing views of the mountains and lakes. !!!!
Thank you! Felt lucky to be there
You're a natural man. Great video! I can't wait to get out to the JMT someday.
Thank you sir! It's a special place for sure, I'm hoping to do the whole thing sometime soon. Appreciate the kind words
🔥🔥🔥 Must watch!
Thanks!
Dude!! You got some skills with the camera! Great video! Love that hike!
Agreed! Such an amazing hike with some epic views. Thanks for the kind words, you do too!
Great job on the video! Really captured the experience. I love the timelapses and everything. We love hiking, but we haven't graduated to backpacking just yet. Keep up the great work man!
Thanks so much for saying that! It was such an amazing trip. I hope you get out there and give backpacking a shot, it's been a super rewarding thing for me. I've actually been working on a comprehensive guide on planning your first backpacking trip. Spent about a week filming and editing but it should be up today or tomorrow! Maybe you'll find it helpful 🙂
@@chaseadventures Thats awesome! Ill check back! We really wanna try it. I think our main concern is the weight of the packs.
@@LiveThatAdventure just tossed up a detailed guide on planning backpacking trips in case it's helpful! ua-cam.com/video/gfBVJvgpufw/v-deo.html
@@chaseadventures awesome! Thank you!
Great job with this video! Looks like it was a lot of work to edit. I usually don't watch all of longer videos, but this one kept my attention. The intro sequence was excellent, that swinging bridge was cool, and great scenery throughout. Subscribed. Cheers from Colorado!
Austin thank you so much! I was trying to really get a lot of different shots to keep mixing it up and I'm glad you think it paid off. I'm looking forward to some other adventures in the next few months, including hopefully something in Colorado!
@@chaseadventures You should, lots of winter activities here. It's snowing now, but not quite ski and snowshoe season yet. I just started doing videos myself, it's both fun and challenging. A lot different than the photography I've done in the past, that's for sure.
@@AustinsADV just checked out your channel, good stuff. Subscribed to see what you're up to next. Looks like we're into the same stuff too so looking forward to your next adventure.
@@chaseadventures Thanks Chase, and any advice or feedback is always appreciated.
Beautifully captured and edited! Absolutely perfect combination of trail/hiking ASMR and music integration. ❤️
Quick question, what time of year were you there?
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for saying that. I was there from October 12-16 which I personally think is a great time to go with the leaves changing colors
@@chaseadventures thanks so much!
Beautiful video - thank you! Could you also add a summary of your daily distance and campsites (it was tricky for me to catch in the video)? How was the temperature?
Great idea Penny! I'll add that to the video description. The temperature was amazing, 35/45 at night depending on the altitude and 65 or so during the day.
@@chaseadventures Thanks!
@@pennysutube I added in the daily distances, campsites, and net elevation change for each day. I hope it's helpful!
@@chaseadventures very helpful - thank you
@@pennysutube you bet! thanks for the suggestion!
This my first long form content so thanks for being here and having a look. Would love feedback so please feel free to comment below. I'm looking forward to filming more adventures in the future so suggestions, thoughts or ideas would be great!
Amazing footage and your videography skills are spot on. I'd love to see more.
@@Jan.harvey thank you!! I'm working on planning out a few more adventures so I should be posting more soon. Thanks again for the kind words!
Was that Ken Jeong?
So good! Best part of the JMT!
Some really majestic views, hard to beat!
