yeah, Kuminga and Moody were told to wait their turn the last two years. Now it's their turn and they're still not getting it. Kerr played Anthony Lamb more minutes than Kuminga last year!

The progress Kuminga has made despite getting so little playing time is amazing, and sad at the same time. Imagine if Kuminga had gotten those Lamb minutes last year, we could have seen this years Kuminga last year, and this year he could have been a major force helping Steph fight for a fifth ring. I still think he could be a force this year, except Kerr keeps throttling him.
One way or another, GS is going to lose two quality players in Kuminga and Moody, probably in a desperate attempt to bring in more aging has- been players like Chris Paul, and end Steph's career with old, slow, aging, undersized teams, ending each of the next few seasons in the lottery, only to see those lottery picks go to other teams who unloaded their aging vets on GS for GS's great young players and draft picks.
The dynasty began with Draymond and Klay in just their 3rd year. GS doesn't need 30 year old overpaid players who were great 4 years ago. GS needs to develop and empower their quality young athletic energetic hungry players.
But that won't happen under Kerr. As an example, Chris Paul will be out indefinitely with a fractured hand. I'm 100% certain his minutes will go to the old undersized slow Corey Joseph, or even the g-league player Jerome Robinson, and not Moses Moody.

Kerr is a personality manager not a coach that can exploit matchups and make in game adjustments. Wiggins is a great backup wing, don’t move him. Let Kerr go and promote Kenny.

This team was unstoppable last night with Kuminga in the line up how was that not visible to Kerr? I saw it sitting at home watching on TNT. When the lead was slipping away Kuminga should have been inserted into the line up. I just dont understand the team is so fluid and so good when he is on the floor.
@@evefet5491 Yes thats because he was benched for the entire 4th qtr after they had a 44 point 3rd qtr with Kuminga in the game and look at the statistics Kuminga best +- of all players in the game last night. Yes best player on the floor and gives everyone space to operate.
Kuminga is a better low post threat, iso threat, and passer than Wiggins. In Draymond's absense, Kuminga has done a great job of keeping the ball moving and finding Steph and Klay for open shots. He would have even more assists except both Steph and Klay have been missing an insane number of wide open three point shots this year.
Kuminga's passing and iso threat are the main reason his +/- is so high. He regularly commands a double when he posts up, allowing the shooters wide open looks when he passes out of the doubles, or else he rises up for a really smooth looking mid range shot on single coverage. Kuminga is definitely better with the starters than Wiggins, while Wiggins has been doing well against bench line-ups and being spoon fed by Chris Paul.
So look for Kerr to replace Kuminga in the starting line-up with Wiggins.

Who would you replace Kerr with? If the Warriors let go of Kerr, the Warriors could be running the risk of going back to the days where bum head coaches like PJ Carlesimo, Dave Cowens, Brian Winters, and Mike Montgomery were coaching the Warriors.

As much as I love Kerr, it’s time for him to go. He represents the *illustrious* past of this franchise. JK should be the future. He’s an athletic two-way player who will be a superstar one day for some team. That team should be the Warriors.

@@BunnyP3Kuminga was still 20 years old 2 months ago. Of course he’s not a finished product yet but just seeing the growth this year considering how little he’s played compared to other lottery picks from his draft class. I’ve been seeing his IQ and recognition really improve. He used to get stripped going to the hoop or get caught with a charge a little too often and that’s reduced a ton due to improved handle and ball security- and he’s fouling less as well. He’s passing well and can attack the rim and is the only one who consistently gets to the line. Steve Kerr has been bad for a while now but we have him time for the good will built up over the years. I hoped he’d change but even before Kuminga came out and said this today, I was thinking that I just don’t trust Kerr to make the most basic correct decisions.
He doesn't represent anything tbh. He was just some dude along for the ride, getting carried by the most stacked team in NBA history. He had less of an impact than Javale McGee, he was just there

Kuminga complaining about minutes is the last thing he should do. The disgruntled fan base and media will take care of that. With the size of Kerr's ego, he'll only bench him or DNP as we've seen undeservedly with Moody. Another HUGE concern is the Warriors asst. coaching staff. You think Mike Brown would've let this all happen. What exactly does Kenny Atkinson do anyways ? Whatever it is, doesn't work.

Kuminga is a talent. He deserves the chance to develop and reach his full potential. As a Michigan alum I wanted Franz Wagner to go to the Warriors that draft year but now I’m glad he went to the Magic because of all the opportunities he’s had. I wonder what Kuminga would have done with all the run Franz has had. At any rate, the Warriors need to give Kuminga his shot or let him go somewhere else.

Last season I said if I were Kuminga, I would ask for a trade, because Kerr isn't giving him the opportunity to grow in his role. Same for Moody, I'd rather see them thriving on another team as opposed to wasting away because Kerr isn't giving the enough opportunities. I like Steve Kerr, and I don't have all the answers as far as rosters are concerned, but I do know, what he's doing isn't working, especially down the stretch. At one time, the Warriors were one of the best teams closing, out close games. They still have their moments, but they're nowhere near as consistent. They used to erase double digit leads like it was nothing. Now they're blowing them at home and on the road. They need a players only meeting.

But really those 2 just shot the ball poorly ... youngins are frustrated with that kind of BS. Looney is frankly unplayable right now the Nuggets acted like he didn't exist those last 5 mins.

This is his 3rd year… he has all the right to complain. This is inhibiting his development and it is affecting his future. He did not work hard all these years…just to be benched often when he is doing better than some or most players that are getting more minutes. You are right.. Kerr may retaliate by benching him… which will hopefully open everyone’s eyes to Kerr’s unfair treatment to most rookies, JK, and Moody. I'm waiting for that to come out someday.And why aren't the writers pumping Kerr for answers. What is it exactly? Have they feuded behind the scenes? Does JK miss too many defensive assignments? (Everyone on this team does). Too many turnovers (again, a problem with everyone, except CP)? Is Kerr jealous of his athleticism? :-) I'm waiting for this story -- if it's ever gonna come out.

Warriors have an out of date business model in the NBA that they cannot outgrow. It happens to all legacy organizations in the corporate world too.
I totally agree with kuminga, n if they let him go because they choose these vets and wiggins over him seeing what his potential is that is going to be the biggest L over the warriors heads for decades. Im sorry but there is about 3-4 great players available right now that we could trade for with keeping kuminga happy that would actually make the team overall better. If they do not make a trade like that and make kuminga a full time starter hes gone and that is the worst thing the warriors could do.
Inside of speaking to the media JK should just let them know he wants a trade. The trade deadline has not pass. They have taken the time to develop him and this is how he pays them back. They could have demanded he learn the system quickly instead they worked and worked with him to get him to where he is today. How he has handle that will make the team atmosphere in the locker room awful. How can they trust him not to leak to the press.

Kerr needs to go. Kuminga needs to be logging 32-35 minutes PER game. Moody needs at least 20+. Where do those minutes come from? Easy. Klay, Looney and CP3 are shells of their former shells -- so it Wiggins for some unknown reason. But, at least, physically, Wiggins has a chance to be useful. The former three are just physically limited at this point, regardless of how much heart they have. Brutal loss.
Things like this dont happen by accident. Theres a lot of moving parts to the behind the scenes agenda. A big change is coming.

The reality is Kuminga has floated between the second best and fourth best player on the team all year, and he's getting benched consistently in the fourth quarter while the Warriors lose. In defense of Kerr this last week, the Warriors might be trying to raise Chris Paul, and Wiggins stock for a trade.
