Hubby and I are watching you now. Im so glad the injections are helping. You commented about travel and injections. IIn 2019 I started on weekly diabetes injection. Hubby and were going on a cruisecand stayed at Disney. So I found a little insulated lunchbag, small ice pack with alcohol wipes and carried it in my backpack. No problem with airport. We stayed overnight at Disney and of course the restrooms (have sharp disposal). I was new doing this, but at our room I did my injection and at the hotel restroom disposed of the weekly dosage. We are leaving tomorrow for Disney MDAS cruise. I now take my weekly and daily injections. I will pack my meds in my little lunchboxes with the ice pack and carry it in my backpack. I'm not sure how your meds come to you or are administered mine are pens. Just thought I would give you my story. I'm so glad you are better, glad your are reasonable and thankful we both have our meds.
I'm glad your meds are priced reasonable, thankful for insurance.
You demonstrate how being vulnerable gave people a chance to love on you guys with prayer and tangible stuff.
💗
I’m so happy for your success Sherri. To have a doctor tell you that you they know exactly what you have and what the protocol will be to heal you is like winning the lottery. Again, so happy For you Sherri!
I agree! After so many doctors not knowing what was happening with me, she was (and is!) such a blessing!
I am soo happy Sherri is happy & healthy!!! 🤗 Also, Sherri's hair looks amazing!!!! I love the curly hair! 💜💖
I’m so grateful your better.
Sherri I'm over the moon with how far you have come with your health. I remember watching your videos of your health issues and praying for some answers. Thanks for sharing your health story, I'm glad to hear this has help other people 🙏🏻💕☺ God Bless 🙏🏻💖
Sherry you are stunnng. So happy for you 💜💜💜💜
Thank you! 🥰
I'm sorry the healthcare system failed you in getting a prompt diagnosis, but it is WONDERFUL to hear that you are doing so well now!
I honestly don’t feel like they failed me. Every doctor I saw was so helpful and wonderful, and truly wanted to get me better as quickly as possible. Sometimes things are just beyond someone’s knowledge, and I appreciate that they were quick to recognize that and get me to someone they hoped would know what was wrong. I owe my life to every one of them!
What an amazing supportive husband
So happy for you Sherri! To have a doctor diagnose you and tell you what the protocols will be is like winning the lottery! You look wonderful BTW. Curly hair looks great on you!,
Thank you!
You deserve nothing more than to feel healthy and be able to live your life in a way that makes you happy!
I'm so glad that you're doing great, even though there was a stressful scare, thank heavens the injections are doing their job. Post traumatic stress can be debilitating. I didn't also realise that you have chronic pain condition. Sending hugs. I have fibromyalgia and I've learnt over time how to manage it. Take care.
Yes, I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which affects my joints. I’m glad you’ve figured out how to manage your fibromyalgia!
@@SherrisLife may you go from strength to strength. You must also feel so blessed to have Adam at your side, your biggest encourager and who loves you so dearly. Saying goodnight from Cape Town. Take care.
Miracles Do happen! I believe, and now you know they do happen! Have been along with you on this super long difficult journey the whole time , praying for and with you! Vickie from SE Pa
This video made me smile. I'm so happy you got answers and a plan for healing. I remember being able to tell when the meds kicked in and you felt better. It was like a rebirth. Your personality and your smile came back. It was very apparent. So happy you're feeling better and that the medication is helping with joint pain too. What a journey 😊❤
I hope you know how much I love you and how happy I am you’re not only still with us.
, but now, better than ever! ❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing your lives with us. So thankful to God for your healing and for your testimony with this. Love you guys. My friends in Alaska
So glad that at a year in you are still feeling better, Sherri! Medical mysteries solved are absolutely a blessing and something to celebrate. So many, and even members of my family, have not found that yet.
Sherri. I am so glad you are feeling better.
Lots of ups and downs but I am happy to see your positive vibes. Sometimes it just takes that one person to figure it all out.
Happy reading. How’s the new book?
Have a nice weekend
I’m glad you are doing so much better. I’m glad that Adam is your partner because he is so supportive. Here is to continued good health.
Thank you! I’m so glad I’ve got Adam too! 💗
I’m so glad you’re doing better! My daughter has to have monthly injections for idiopathic anaphylaxis, basically means they can’t find the cause to her reactions but she is having them for some reason. Anyway she gets Xolair injections. She’s starting to wean off her other meds, antihistamines, one at a time. She’s 14. Has been dealing with this for a couple years. Started Xolair about 9 months ago. Started having improvements and no reactions at about 5-6 month point. Thanks for sharing and so glad they found a treatment for you! ❤️
Love the shirt ❤️!! Somers love! Amazing update 🙏 .
I love my shirt too! 💗
So happy for you. I remember following along and praying for you.
Sooo happy for you sherry……you are truly a diamond……from your friend in Illinois……..
Thank you!
That is really great news.
Medication allergies are the worst.
I am sure if you take it to the Medical unit onboard they will give it to you. Just take a Rx with you for their records.
You can have the vest, you deserve it Adam
You have a lot of CYBER friends out here who care. I for one an so happy things are going better.
💗
Ooh you two, what a time, no kidding. Just backfilling your vlogs, and appreciate knowing the happy ending right away!! Congrats on the excellent anniversary! Reminds me of when my brother had an autoimmune disorder when he was 12, amazingly over 36 years ago now. Can’t describe it, it was simply horrific, godawful, and we truly thought we were losing him. Somehow miraculously his body righted itself. Yes thank god for modern medicine, I imagine/hope there’s a name and prescription for what he had now, but omg it was horrendous. So grateful Sherri got the right help finally, whew! All the ❤️
Thanks for sharing. Hugs
Such a happy video your such a help to to so many people by sharing your story. My daughter has a skin disease that came out full force when she was pregnant she had so many small bumps come up all over body. Its a nerve disease call FN1 so now that she had that baby & another baby 2 years later. Most bumps have gone away but many have remained we will look into what we can do to get rid of some of the bumps that are visible at least they are not painful.
Hi to the both of you. Glad to hear Sherrie how well your doing. Can you please tell me the name of your diagnosis please. I am having a lot of your symptoms and want to investigate the illness. Thanks for this video.
I became a viewer within the last year from watching your cruise vlogs and I remember watching a video with your first outing to Costco I think it was and I was thinking omg what happened to this sweet woman so I binged watched all the videos and just prayed all would be ok. Watching Adam’s eyes light up when you talk about feeling better and your joint pain lessening shows how much he loves, cares and appreciates you. The love you guys have for each other is inspirational!!
hopefully you can keep some of your meds in your survival bucket
Unfortunately not. The injection gets delivered a day or two before I have to use it, and it has to stay refrigerated. Hopefully we’ll never need to figure out how to get to it in an emergency!
I wanna know if having such skin condition, food like sea foods, eggs, chicken etc. can cause flare ups?pls. I need your answer
💗🐈⬛
😀❤️
I suspected Sherri was bada$$ and now that's obvious Ha! Thank you for sharing your story. Your resilience and strength is inspiring!
It’s been incredible to watch the healing and progress in you over the past year. You are a warrior, Sherri Beth💗💜. So glad you’re here, and healthy, and THRIVING, and so proud of you for sharing your journey and being an inspiration!
Thank you, friend! 💗
What a wonderful blessing to see today. Stay strong always ❤️
Thank you!
Sherri you look amazing. Your skin glows. So happy you are feeling and doing better!
Sorry, I thought my original comment wasn’t sent🤦🏼♀️
Sherri and Adam I am first of all so grateful that you have shared this video. I thank you from bottom of my heart. Let me tell you I have the same thing by looking through your pictures. I also went through so much struggle getting a dermatologist as my old one retired. I am feeling your pain. If you read this message please I would like to privately talk to you on what treatment I am on. God bless both of you.
Sherri I am so glad you had the right physician to be your advocate through the morass of insurance and gave you answers, hope and good care, something we all should be entitled to, yet for many it doesn’t happen. You undoubtedly have helped so many by sharing your very difficult journey. You are a kind, strong woman and you have a kind strong husband who helped you on a journey neither of you wanted to take. You look absolutely lovely and healthy!! Wishing you both the very best! Now on to many more interesting travels:)!!
Wow! I'm a newer subscriber & haven't checked out all the past videos but am very happy to hear that modern medicine is working & even happier that insurance is covering what's needed. Keep living life happy (from your shirt)!
I'm so happy for you both. You seem like such a loving team!
👍❤😄
Thanks! 🥰
I’m so so happy you’re doing so well! Last year was tough and I love seeing the relief and smiles in this video!
Hearing about all this I just wanted to hug you. Last year I suffered and survived a really scary bout of Post Partem Depression/Anxiety.... I am doing much better now, but I still experience triggers of that trauma.... hearing that I am not alone in this feeling is bringing me a lot of comfort. Reflecting on where I was this time 6 months ago and 1 year ago is chilling. Miracles are real. Hugs, love, and prayers from Virginia.
God Bless you for sharing this journy. I am recovering from exfoliative Dermatitis and Severe sepsis and am in the process of figuring out why. Hopefully mine will be resolved soon as well. So wonderful to see you healed and happy!
Our God is so awesome and His love for both of you is so amazing. I have followed your journey and the power of prayers is truly incredible.🙏🙏🙏. Love you both 💕💕💕
I can't even imagine the relief that was felt once there was an ANSWER! I admire you putting it all out there and sharing your journey/ experience. ❤️❤️👍👍
What do you guys think about maybe doing a podcast episode on any tips you have of dealing with past trauma and triggers from your experience this past year? Could be an interesting conversation. I'm also coming up on the 1 year anniversary of a traumatic event I went through and yea wow I was not expecting it all to come back, has really surprised me.
I am so happy for you to be feeling so much better. You are both looking so much healthier and happier these days and definitely thinner. I know how tough it can be to lose weight and keep it off. I do a complete juice cleanse twice a year for thirty days and then I will get back to eating just raw vegetables for a week and slowly get back to eating more healthy food. It’s helping my weight to go down and improving my overall health.
I recently started following you guys & saw the video where you showed photos of your skin last year.. I can't imagine what both of you went through. Thank god you found a doctor who knew how to treat your illness. You have a wonderful husband that stuck right with you through the hardest of times. Thank god for your insurance to cover your injections. Medication prices can be ridiculous.
Medication prices just me angry. 😂
@@SherrisLife me too! My daughter is special needs (has a trach & ventilator) and needed a 29 day supply of tobramycin.. Walgreens charged Medicaid between 6000-$7000. 😡 but most of her meds she takes for seizures are around 1,000 a month. And she has 4 seizure meds. Plus all of her medical supplies.. 3 to 4,000 a month. Thank god for Medicaid.
@@deanacantrell1612 Oof, I’m so sorry!
Love this video... So glad you're well. 😍 You give me hope I may also get answers and relief.
I have rheumatoid arthritis and I know how bad the joint pain can be with no docs knowing how to help. Thankful you found your doc and an injection to help!!!
Thank you both for sharing. God bless you both.
Please tell me name of this injection. My friend is in hospital now with same disease but no relief!
I’m glad Sherri is doing so well. God does answer prayers.
So glad Sherri is better! Thanks to God healing❤️
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!! You’ll do FINE talking your shot when you travel! I pretend I’m home when I take my shots away from the house. The big difference is that I take five shots every day, so I’m very use to it, but you’ve got this. You can do it! I believe in you! 🥰
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your good news for Sherris health ,I will keep praying for you both. God blesses good people and you are at the top of list. Take care and stay safe ❤👍🙏
Thank you!
Such a blessing to have received a diagnosis and that the treatment is working for you! I feel like my body is still a mystery but I am keeping God’s promises.
Ooh, there are still lots of mysteries in my body! We were fortunate to figure out one of them! 🙂 Hang in there!
Awe!!! I call my hubby my "Emotional Support Hubby", too! I think we should get them special jackets. It was bad when they separeted us for testing before our cruise. Since he had had Covid within 90 days of the sailing, he just had to have a Dr.'s note saying he was symptom free. But I still had to test! And I wanted him there with me, but they would let him. Thankfully we were able to be together while we waited for my results.
And... I'm so glad that you are doing so much better!
I am new to your channel, and have enjoyed your Disney cruise videos very much. I watched this and your April video which explains Sherri's health battle. All I can say is hats off to you, Sherri!!! You did a wonderful job of muscling through the very difficult journey you forced to endure. Thank God you had the strength of will to endure this until you found an answer. Thank you so much for sharing and giving others answers and hope.
💕💕💕
? ???????
❤
💗
Isn’t our God amazing?! I know you count your blessings. What a fighter! Sherri, you look amazing! With your diet and injections, your skin is actually glowing! And I’ve said this before, but I love your take on life after this journey. There’s so much good that came from the pain. I pray God continues to bless you. ❤️
You know, I have to say that God has blessed many in the medical field. It is a huge blessing to have a doctor (s) who fight strongly for their patients. My autonomic specialist went through hoops to get a medicine approved for my tachycardia (high heart rate). All of my current doctors have had to fight w/the insurance for one medicine for one reason or another. I have chronic migraines & it did take 6 months for the insurance to approve my emgality, but thankfully the pharmaceutical company has a program that covers the medicine for 12 months & its renewable yearly. They work w/your insurance company, but I'm not sure how it exactly works. This past October (I've been on emgality since 2019) was the first time ive traveled w/ an injection & things went well, uh well except I took it a week earlier than I was supposed to. I was messed up since it was shipped to me a week early. We rented a home so it's not like a cruise which is much better I think. 😊 I will continue to keep you both in my prayers. Take care.
Please tell me name of injection. My friend is in hospital with same disease but no relief!
Hi Charlene, the injection sherri is on is called Taltz. What Sherri was diagnosed with is called a Exfoliative Erythroderma
My friend is on Cyclosporine.
Diagnosis: Erythrodermic p. (Suspecting this is the same disease)
Having a diagnosis is the biggest relief and you can then get on treating it. Take care
I’m so glad you are doing well❤️ Does the medication effect all immune responses or just the skin related one?
So happy to hear that Sherri continues to be doing great. Love her sweatshirt, I know my wife would love it. Where did she get it?
That is so sad you two had to go through all that. Prednisone is such a hard drug on your body, glad you are doing better!!!
So happy to see how far you've come Sherri. I remember how worried we all were for you. I've been there so I get the pain and dismay you were going through at the time.
So glad to watch this video as a past tense. Love you guys and I’m so glad to see Sherri healthy 💗
