Gosh! How could I not see that a new Goomzilla video had been posted till now!? Well, anyway, this is a very funny episode, and based on an interesting concept, to... Maybe it could have been a great idea for an entire movie (maybe titled 'Peach's Quest', since she has a bit more of an active role here), but I'm still content of what we got! I could be a pilot for something, though... Also, Bowser with the fishing hat was awesome!
It really cool that mario turn into a goomba even though it quite pointless, but cool and hey this matches super mario 3d world (goomba mask) and super mario odyssey (capturing a goomba)

XD The song choice was great, too. It gets your head bopping and your toe tapping. :) Then there's the 'first Goomba faceoff!' As soon as I saw the Spiked Paragoomba from Luigi's Quest, I was pleasantly surprised! I was thinking, 'He's back! Oh, so HE'S going to do it!' He still has Kamek's power, and it looks like he can control it now... That's dangerous! By the way, did Kamek ever recover from that? I guess we saw him in Yoshi and the Lost Egg, and he could transport Francis, so I guess so (though it wasn't really cannon). Goomba Mario looks so good! I wonder if Nintendo will ever consider making that an actual Power Up? lol They did the Goomba Mask already, though, so maybe not. That was funny when he imagined Peach's reaction to it all. Good thing she didn't really react that way. :) When Mario decided to follow the other Goombas, I realized at the same time he did, 'This could actually be useful!' Looks like Bowser's security allows any Goomba in without question, though Koopa looked a little surprised at that one's sense of fashion. XD Was he wondering if Goombas even have noses? You have Super Mario Maker! Cool! :D So that's what the European box art looks like! Do you have any course codes you'd like to share? :) Mario saying, "I'm-a gonna get you!' was good! XD Peach certainly wasn't expecting Mario to rescue her like THAT, but at least she recognized him. Bowser asking why Peach wants to make friends with Goombas, was that a kind of reference to when she befriended Goomfrey in Mario's Quest? ...Bowser goes fishing?? LOL! XD And when he says he'll take Peach with him, she's just like, "Ah... Help me!" XD Now, the little Goomba's story about giving Mario a Game Over by running into him: did that Goomba really believe he must have done that? Or was he stretching the truth to impress Bowser? Regardless, the smallest one is the Goomba commander! So, next they train to take out Luigi! And we get to see the Goomba tests! Those were hilarious! Looks like most of the Goombas under Bowser aren't very smart... at all! That one Goomba even thought that Bowser's picture was Luigi? And the other one thought a GOOMBA's picture was Luigi?? XD That was a cute Toad dummy, great idea! It was so funny when I saw that it was potato, or, a PotaToad! lol That was so funny when one Goomba used PotaToad to take out the other one! XD It looks like Peach is a regular participant in Bowser's minion training courses? She had the attitude of, 'here we go again...' lol! The first Goomba looked like he expected Peach to get back in the cage just because he told her to. X) Mario had a great plan there, sticking something in the door to keep it open just a crack! Just curious, did you get that idea from the outtake in Yoshi and the Lost Egg, where Luigi got his foot stuck in the door to his prison cell? So, Bowser's actually surprised that a Goomba passed the test? XD He doesn't really expect much from Goombas, does he? :P Nice Warp Pipes, by the way. :) So, when Peach came out, did the other Goombas just ask Mario to take care of her? lol Peach was going to take care of Spiked Paragoomba? That would have been a good plan, if only she had used a PotaToad instead! XD So, when Spiked Paragoomba fired the magic, Peach put Mario in front of her, is that a reference to her Super Smash Bros. defense, only with Mario instead of Toad? Well, it's a good thing that happened! Now he's back to normal! :D So, looks like little Goomba doesn't want to be commander anymore! :P Luigi's okay, and it looks like the Goombas won't be getting him after all! Was Luigi on his way to help Mario get Peach back when he found them? Well, it was a happy ending! :) Bowser with his fishing pole and hat!! XD That was the best! lol! Great outtakes, too! I hope we'll get to see PotaToad in another one, just for fun! X) Fishin' Bowser just got funnier at the end! You guys are so funny! XD I enjoyed this one! This was great to read, as always! My other choice for the outdoor theme in this video was "Still the Road is Full of Dangers" from SMRPG, but I like Gloam Valley just a bit more so I went with that. I've not really decided what will happen with Kamek, but I guess I'm tempted away from making major plot points which rely on previous videos too much (it seems some people are confused that the Goomba had special powers in this video). Glad you like the Goomba Mario - I suppose in Mario Maker, they have the Goomba power up, though it's pretty much just a full on transformation! Speaking of which, the internet on my Wii U seems to have problems so I I like the way you noticed Mario could use his Goomba appearance to his advantage when he did. And yes, a reference to Goomfrey! I was thinking the Goomba did believe he'd walked into Mario, as you can see by the little jump for joy he gives after Mario's transformation occurs. Yeah we thought maybe a Goomba would see a Goomba picture and get distracted from deciding which one they thought was Luigi... I can't remember where we got the idea for the blu tac in the cage door, I think we just wanted a way for Peach to get out and this seemed convenient at the time! When Peach fell out of the pipe, we thought we'd make the Goombas give their reactions to her just as they did during the IQ test, although there's actually a slight plot inconsistency here: we made the small one give the same reaction, although at the time of the test, he knew it wasn't the right thing to do. Nerves perhaps? :P Yeah it was a Brawl reference, actually I used the same sound effect as the Super Smash Bros Toad attack! Glad you notice these things. Luigi was just setting off to rescue Peach himself after noticing Mario had been gone for a while. Thanks for enjoying the video and commenting on everything, as always :D
