You are my favourite UA-camr in CGM category. I learnt haircare and styling techniques specific for wavy/curly hair from you only. Also I never purchase a product without seeing if it's recommended by you. Everything I purchased following your advise has worked well for me.❤
Michelle, I need to thank you for introducing the Wetbrush to me. It may not work for everyone, but I need to say it out loud: DON’T NEED THAT BOUNCE CURL BRUSH ANYMORE😭❤️ Simply because this one gives me such nice shrinkage and definition, especially for my wavy hair. The first time I used it, I thought maybe it was a fluke that I got such great results; but I tried it a second time yesterday with a totally different product combo, still worked great! Again, thank you so much, because I don’t need to spend close to 3k on the bounce curl brush anymore❤️
Could you do a review on Moxie hair products. Please mention what all products in their range are good for low porosity 2c-3a curls. Really need an honest opinion on moxie.

This video was so helpful! I need help from any of my wavy girlies. Im a 2b on top and underneath about a 3a. Im completely new to understanding by textured hair…I usually only wash my hair once every 2 weeks. I wear it down for about a week (oh no it don’t look great mostly a frizzy mess) But what do you do with ur hair in between washes? Like do you brush it? Use a pick? Do you have to restyle it daily? I’m a very low maintenance person and I love love love my waves which is why I’m embracing it now that I understand there’s a difference of care, but watching all these videos and trying to get the technique and processes down which varies from person to person…I’m overwhelmed to say the least. Any insight would be appreciated. I just bought new shampoo/conditioner, styling gel. And hoping this will help me with my journey! Thank you anyone who reads this ❤
So many brushes 😂 You really take so much trouble to explain every detail. And the amount of brushes you have bought to show us how each one works, really shows the hard work you put into your videos. Well done and you look so pretty every time ❤
@@MichelleManuel I’m currently facing the same problem. My curly wavy looks almost straight near the back sections… so can u share some tips to recover from the curl shock ?
See I'm going through curl shock because of colouring. I coloured my hair in June last year. So it's been 1 year of dealing with this ordeal. The lady who coloured my hair made a mess of it. She didn't do things right the first time. So she kept re-colouring my hair and processing it repeatedly. She coloured it so many times that it structurally destroyed my curls. I had asked for a dark brown with chunky golden brown highlights. She promised that there will be no bleach on the global colour. I suspect there was. We were going from light brown hair to dark brown hair. Meaning we were going darker with my global hair. It didn't need any bleaching in the first place. Instead of understanding this, she pre-lightened my hair (global). There was no need for pre-lightening. My hair was looking orange after. Then when I told her that this is not happening. I asked for dark brown, she scrambled around to re-colour my hair and then again re-colour my hair. All of this took 3 days! I don't know how many times she recoloured my hair. Plus, she wasn't supposed to use bleach on all my hair. She said she would do short contact bleach on the highlighted sections only. It would be such short contact that it would cause damage. This was a big lie. I could smell the bleach in the global colour. I could smell the bleach in the highlighted sections. Long story short, she botched it completely. This is after I told her how precious my hair is to me and how I've had awful experiences in the past. To only proceed if she's confident. Given my history with salons, I made sure to be extra communicative this time. I suspect that the parts that are not curling, are gone. There will be no recovery from it. I am cutting off 1 inch at a time each month. So another 6 to 8 months and my hair should be back to normal. I'll be so happy to be done with it finally. I can't wait. I'll tell you what you can try. Do Acv rinses. Initially I was relying on them very heavily. They did help my hair bounce back quite a bit (within reason).
@@MichelleManuel oh that is really horrible to hear !! I’ve had a similar experience years ago and I got so fed up I chopped off my long hair for a shoulder length cut… have u tried the olaplex bond repair treatment… I’ve heard it helps in repairing damaged hair…
@cap_u_chin4339 yes ofcourse. It was my first go to. I spoke about my experience with bond treatments on curl shock. Olaplex no 3 made my hair even straighter after use. Too much to type so I don't go into explaining here.
Hey Michelle....can you please make a long styling video with that round brush and show us how you style with that. I am also thinking of buying that but I am not sure how to properly use it. Please consider my request 🙂
Heyy michelle thank you so much for making informative videos like these . Could you please try to do a review of the curl co. range......that would be so helpful.
Alright I watched the video, all of it (earlier i watched only some of the combs I was interested in) I realised you've been at it since months! The amount of effort 🫡✨✨✨✨✨ Bummer about the hard bristle comb - felt like it could be a tiny bit like the bounce one - but im not interested in inviting breakage 🙃😁 Too good! Also i love how you addressed the weaker hair people- im one of them- and combing with tension with a brush does go wrong sometimes - so i majorly use a wide tooth comb and other more curling techniques on some event day 😊 Thank you ❤
Thank you for watching it in its entirety. I wanted to emphasize the section on wide tooth combs and people with weak hair & sensitive scalps. It's important to note as some people may be conditioned to think that brushes are mandatory..
Yes! Exactly! I bought the blue brush because I thought it would be a bounce curl dupe. Turned out to be a mistake. One that I paid for with precious* hair!
I have weak hair and I was thinking to buy brush for wet detanglr but thankgoodness for posting this video...I am gonna stick to wide tooth comb for combing and styling.
@@e_r_i_s2164 yesss! Michelle has always made clumps with wide tooth comb- and I've followed her, that method - and I find no difference between brush/comb (unless it is brushcoiling) but then again I have 3abc curl type, so wide comb is enough for me

I love this. There are so many brushes. I recently bought the xo curls one. it's too good for detangling, way better than the curly detangling one. That one gets messy with my hair length and i lose more hair because the gap of the bristles tug at my hair. Right now i am quite interested to buy the unbrush dupe and the wetbrush.
