Hello Gretchen and Michael, I just signed up for your training and became a UA-cam subscriber to your channel. Great information and content. I had a question I was hoping you could answer. Is it possible to use a custom GPT from OpenAi and actions with Zapier to have the following happen: 1. User is prompted by the custom GPT to enter something in the chat box like a name. 2. That name is then populated to an Excel file using Zapier actions. 3. Then a result from that same Excel file is returned back to the custom GPT chat back for the user. I have been successfully able to handle Step 1 & 2 above, but I am not sure how to do Step 3. Can you offer any suggestions? Thanks
thank you so much @paybudvideos5033 ! We really appreciate your message and support. As to your questions: So far (01/24) the customGPT actions with zapier only allow to move data FROM the custom gpt TO zapier. Not the other way around. If you want to get data to chatGPT than you need to use the openAI API and do it from within zapier, inside the zap. But there (again, this might change) you do not have access to your customGPTs. Hope that clarifies things. all the best
This is freaking amazing ! ANytime I thnk Im finally able to drop this ridiculously expansive tool that Zapier as become, they come with some amazing new feature I just know would give me such an edge on my competitors ! Damn, they're good THanks for the great tutorial !!
All I want for Christmas is to be more like you two!!!! Love you both so much for all the value you add. Jase and I are deep diving on this stuff all over Christmas and we just thank the Universe for you pair xxx
@@TheRealAICoupleCould I send you an email, I watch lots of tutorials to try to understand what I could do with GPTs but the problem is that I have difficulty understanding How do the knowledge and API parts work, could I send you an email?
Thank you for the guide. I found it very useful and easy to use. Just an issue with Gmail as messages sent are marked as spam by Google. May be I will ned to fill in all the fields and avoid suspicious words in subject line :)
Would you create one gpt as an assistant and one for marketing your practice or would it be more beneficial to have a single gpt combining both? I was just thinking that it would be more beneficial for training (uploading pdfs). I was also thinking of creating a website with all the information I wanted the gpt to learn and have the gpt access it due to limited amounts of words allowed on the GPT upload area. Your thoughts or references I should access? Thanks for the great information you have been sharing!
Hi @TimothyGRyanCHT , great question! Pointing it to a website can totally work. We have done that for clients. Most people can get enough information in the "knowledge base" under the configure tab. There you can upload pdfs and those can be quite lenghty. In terms of number of GPTs I encourage you to think expansively about GPTs. I would create all 3, or as many as you can think of and then experiment and test. It's free, and it's fast. The outcomes can be really powerful. Generally a GPT performs better and more reliably if the scope is narrower. Hope this helps.
So the question is can you take a webhook from Lead connector and send the data through your custom GPT and then return the info to Lead connecter as a response?
I am not aware of a way where you can integrate a custom GPT into zapier as of now. What you CAN do is use the openAI API within your zaps, but then you don't have access to your customGPTs.
Agreed. This is to showcase 1 easily understandable workflow from chatGPT via zapier to a 3rd party tool. It becomes more powerful the more elaborate the workflows are

@@TheRealAICouple Thank you for the quick reply! Have a great day.
This is the first and best video since ever introduction of custom Gpt explaination,i love it!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! comments like yours make our day!
This was shorter than most tutorials but so much better.
Thank you so much! Let us know topics you would like other tutorials on.
Great tutorial! Any idea how to avoid the requirement to click the "Allow" button every time? I am using this with voice in the phone app.
This is freaking amazing !

This was my first video of yours that I watched. I'm going to go binge watch the rest!
Thank you so much! That means a lot

We live in such amazing times
Thanks for dropping these gems, Michael!!
hello and thank you very much for your videos however I always have a lot of difficulty understanding certain things, could I ask you some questions
Of course! Always

Great video. BIG thanks for the pdf. I'll b following...

Lovely tutorial bro, thx a lot!
Glad you liked it!

I will look into that. My guess is you would need to use the openAI API from within zapier to do that though
Great video - thank you 🙏🏼
your welcome! Thanks for your comment
Great video. Have you ever tried Empler AI for AI automation?
Thank you so much. I haven't but I will look into it
it seems like we can use only that app that are available on zapier. I want to add my custom gpt with actions to zapier, how can i do that

confused, how does this save time from actually going to gmail and drafting the email? seems like a middleman
