I have a part-time job driving rental cars on the north-side of Brookpark Road three mornings per week. I never tire of watching arrivals coming in from the north right over my head. However, I can't actually see the aircraft touching down on the runway, therefore your 12 minute recording helps let me see a little of what I am missing. Thank you for your posting!
awesome catch, big like! :)
Appreciate it
Thanks!
Nice video man!
Yes most of the small United Express jets are ERJ-145s, however there are some CRJs (Second Plane landing) that are similar but with winglets, ERJs can have winglets to, i don't think there are any in this video i caught
Awesome Job too!
too bad you guys don't get more heavies. gr8 job nonetheless!
I try to go to Hopkins as often as I can...But I can NEVER catch it on Runway 6L!...It does frustrate me sometimes...The days I can't make it, are the days they land on Runway 6L
I was just visiting! I get plenty of heavies at MIA haha
Where were you parked to get this footage?
Ohio got the double screw losing Delta’s Cincinnati hub followed by Continental merging with United and getting and de-Hibbing Cleveland. Personally it was outrageous that the Justice Dept approved the mergers that reduced the big carriers down to 4. U tied and Continental as well as Delta and Northwest were terrible mergers for the flying public. No longer did we have the option of flying wodebodies, we got 737’s and 320’s with rows added on coast to coast routes. In the 80’s and 90’s the thought of going from LA to New York, Boston or Miami in a 737 was unthinkable regarded as passenger torture. Guess what we got it, with no free drinks or snacks and baggage costs became outrageous. That’s what happens when 4 carriers control capacity and pricing. My flights to the East Coast or St Louis were always on TWAs L-1011, sad with Northwest DC-10 to MSP, and onto PHL. AA flew DC-10’s to DFW! and O’Hare. I often took the 9 pm, CO DC-10 to LAX from DEN Sunday night using an upgrade for 1st class, coming home Friday at 5 pm on the United 747. It doesn’t get any better than that.
no biggie but I do wish their were more heavies to go around.
sure.
Nope, it was a 1999 737-800
True, Cleveland is a kinda boring airport, its ERJ after ERJ haha
Thanks!
