Me encantó. Me recordó a cuando hacía pulseritas con ese tejido, creo que puedo recordar como se hace ahora para la mascota de mi sobrina. Buena idea y buen tutorial
You are my new favorite person right now. I watched 4 videos before finding this one and there was always at least one thing that made me stop and move on to the next one. I followed yours til the end. I was wondering why the "D" ring was in the middle of the collar and was going the wrong way but I figured that out. (I fast forwarded to that part so you probably explained and I missed it). I like the little paracord loop. That's a first for me. Well this collar is a first for me too with a metal buckle. My pup is still growing and I wanted something that would last past 3 months. Thanks for your help.
thank you so much for this! I bought my puppy a very nice paracord collar - which he chewed - LOL. Thanks to your video, I was able to re-do it and he's got his nice collar again :D
i put my d ring on horizontal at right beside the buckle. i just took the 4 center strands and looped them around the ring then put a cobra to hold the loops tight then cobra over with the outer strands. then you dont need to add a loop for the excess
when you fold the two chords in half you are ending up with four chords to work with, double it over here means to make those two strands into four by folding it in half.
Do you have any videos on how to do this but make a slip collar for training? I'd love to make this for my grand puppy since they grow out of collars so fast! Thanks!!
Great video!!! I'm worried about the strength of the Paracord collar/leashes I wanna make them (I have 4🐶) My dogs are very strong.(is there a stronger knot, or closure that would make me feel safer?) I'm not trying to be a pest.... I'm just wondering will this hold??? THANKS AGAIN for the GREAT VIDEO!!!!
Ashes611 if you think about it 550 paracord on its on (1 strand) can hold 550 pounds wich is a lot and times that by 10 (wich is the strength of the collor approximately) so it can hold a LOT of weight It can hold a truck!
I was wondering the same thing as my dogs are very strong and sometimes lunge , i plan on back threading so to speak a few loops and then melting the ends
The Dr Herobrine sorry buddy it sounds like you made it too tight of a weave only way I know how to fix is redo it again which will suck if you've already cut the ends and melted sorry I couldn't have been more help
You said about foot per inch. That both colours? And could I do it with plastic buckle (like bracelet buckle). And what about the center? That is like 15inch collar = 15feet paracord + ??feet center?? Thanks a lot from Czech :)
if you're making up with the buckles just make a four centred Strand Cobra weave bracelet just very large general rule of thumb is 1 foot to 1 inch with the cobra weave if doing two colours half that for each colour add more for the extra strands in the centre
+TONY MAYER (Paracord Always) Awesome! Thanks. Also, could you point out how to make four strand center bracelet? I am used to make classic. Thanks again so much :)

I'm not familiar with 160 but you can use any paracord or rope it depends on the diameter and how thick or thin you want the collar it's up to you good luck
I used to but I live in Australia and it doesn't seem to be very popular here and the few orders that I had for the USA with the exchange rate and the shipping it wasn't worthit for people
I'm not a fan of the big, bulky loop to tuck the end in. Is there a smaller stitch that might work? Otherwise, it's a great looking collar!! Thanks for posting!
I love these collars you make!!! I've been making some to benefit the Audrey Pet Foundation for an upcoming fundraiser. Don't suppose you'd like to donate some paracord would ya? Haa haa :)
There's nothing wrong with your camera, it LQQKED fine to me. And I was waiting for you to put the collar on your dog to see how it fit but oh well. Nice job!!
Me encantó. Me recordó a cuando hacía pulseritas con ese tejido, creo que puedo recordar como se hace ahora para la mascota de mi sobrina. Buena idea y buen tutorial
I like how yours is adjustable as opposed to other collars which are the exact length of the dogs neck
Great easy to follow instructions! Thanks so much for sharing.

I am looking to make an adjustable dog collar using the tri-glides for the adjusting part. do you know or have any videos that will help me
awesome tut! worked like a charm
Olá !uso paracord 550, tenho vontade de de mudar para um mais fino, o Maltico😅 é legaal ?
when you say you have 10 feet nd you double it over what do you mean is it 20 feet or now is 5 feet if you double over 10 is it 5 feet now???
when you fold the two chords in half you are ending up with four chords to work with, double it over here means to make those two strands into four by folding it in half.
if i wanted to make a 20 in collar , how much cord would i need? what is the formula for measuring the finished length ?
What would be the measurements for a large dog. I have a lab and he has a thick neck.
That loop makes it look so wird
Do you have any videos on how to do this but make a slip collar for training? I'd love to make this for my grand puppy since they grow out of collars so fast! Thanks!!
Great video, very helpful. Cheers mate.
How do you do holes in end for adjusting strap length?
How many inches did you use for making the loops ?
I'm going to make one of these for my belgian malinois
amazing! that is very intricate Tony.
Thanks mike I love doing.
How do I make a hole in the paracord to put the buckle through at the end! mine is too tight and thick
poke a pen or a fid through and don't tighten your weave so tight around the area that you're going to post the whole through hope this helps
Top! Parabéns pelo vídeo.
Hello! Very good what you do, can you tell me the needle that you use? Regards!!!
Thanks heaps! Love your video.
AMstaffy. How do I work out the length of the cord?
Kelly Lowndes every 1’’ you need 1 foot of paracord
how could you alter this to use a plastic snap buckle?
Fantastic- thanks 👍
Hello, sorry what is the name of thread or cord? Thank you.
Where do get the belt buckle from?
Which rope you using sir
Where do you get your buckles? How much cord did you use to make the 4 inner strands?
How many feet of paracord would i need to make a 20" dog collar?
De cuanto metros?? Son las Piolitas??
How could I add an O-ring instead of weave on end
Great video!!! I'm worried about the strength of the Paracord collar/leashes I wanna make them (I have 4🐶) My dogs are very strong.(is there a stronger knot, or closure that would make me feel safer?) I'm not trying to be a pest.... I'm just wondering will this hold??? THANKS AGAIN for the GREAT VIDEO!!!!
Ashes611 it's called 550 Paracord for a reason one strand can hold 550 lbs so a this could probably hold a truck
With the way this is knoted, it could easily hold a sumo wrestler used as a harness, it is extremely strong
The weakest part of this collar is actually the metal clip, which will break before the paracord.
Ashes611 if you think about it 550 paracord on its on (1 strand) can hold 550 pounds wich is a lot and times that by 10 (wich is the strength of the collor approximately) so it can hold a LOT of weight It can hold a truck!

Is the ratio of blue to orange paracord 1:5?
That cord seems more flexible than mine. I cant get them that tight without bunching up the center cords.
At the start I hold the four strands with my fingers so they don't bunch up
I did better when I layed it flat on the table and worked it like that.
I made one but I can't get it through the paracord and when I do its very stiff plz help
The Dr Herobrine sorry buddy it sounds like you made it too tight of a weave only way I know how to fix is redo it again which will suck if you've already cut the ends and melted sorry I couldn't have been more help
TONY MAYER ok thanks any way and good luck with your channel👍👌
Hey Tony! Great video, thank you! How thick is the paracord you're using? Is it a 4mm one or thinner? Cheers
You said about foot per inch. That both colours? And could I do it with plastic buckle (like bracelet buckle). And what about the center? That is like 15inch collar = 15feet paracord + ??feet center?? Thanks a lot from Czech :)

To make the collar it's 18 inches right
foot every inch I think....
I'm not a fan of the big, bulky loop to tuck the end in. Is there a smaller stitch that might work?
Otherwise, it's a great looking collar!! Thanks for posting!
