The landing of the Holy Spirit is what the scripture describes as the way dove lands not that the Holy Spirit is a dove and does not represent the dove that Noah sent out. There is no mention of dove in Genesis 1 verse 2, the Spirit of God like a wind hovers over the deep fits more than a dove incubating.
I was baptized in a lake, by my girlfriend and when I raised. A ray of light shined down and a white dove landed on my head with a leaf. Fluttered to my hand and dropped the leaf. It's a wonderful world

I was going to the church for a couple weeks now, i was full with sin many years, been to prison many years, lost friends and had a battle with myself for over a decade, with alcohol and drugs problems, out of no where i needed to be with god and go learning in the bible, so i was one day going to church i was alone there praying for jesus christ and a big white dove fly in to the small door and go sitting on the shoulder of the lord jesus christ, it was for me a sign! Never lose faith i hope anyone can become faithful again! Amen 🙏

A pigeon came upon my window sill. The peace I felt then told me God loves me. In the recent past, even my mother has abandond me. To see this means that God was always on my side and sees my pure heart. I feel I might die soon because I have trouble breathing. But now I know the love I was searching all my life from my mother could not be found in her. But God was always with me. God bless you

I have a Testimony to share.ln 2014 we were driving to our house from the shop's,it was me,my husband and our son who was 5 years old then.This fast Mercedes came so close to us in a way that l felt the wind while in the car as l was sitting at the back seat with my Son.We could not believe it,my husband and l we were deadly shocked.We got Home,while we still shocked we saw 3 Beautiful Snowy Dove's by our stair's... specifically 3 Dove's..then and then we knew that God protected us from the crash...We Serve a wonderful God.

I remember when I was probably a baby then, but I was spending the night at my Grandparents house one night, and I woke up to what looked like a white bird glowing next to me, and then it just started flying around my room. Now I know it was the Holy Spirit watching over me.

The Holy Spirit is on the inside of us, that's why when we declare the word and keep declaring it, it activates the word of God in our lives. This same spirit rose Jesus from the dead.
I have been going through the fire for five years. A pair of doves showed up on my porch the day after Easter and have been living there for three months. They have been built three nests and raised 5 baby doves! They are not afraid of us. The flood is over and new beginnings are here!

HELLO. Question....was the dove male or female?
I am a Christian and in the Bible ,,they did not sacrifice doves ,only rams , cattle ,sheep’s and goats ,,so l don’t know why you say about the doves,, l read the KJV .
I have heard many sermons of popular pastors and so many say and truly believe that the Holy Spirit came down and manifested in the form of a dove at the baptism of Christ. Is this true? Is that what really happened? Before we go to the source of all truth, the Bible, and what it clearly written about this event, let’s understand the basic rules and fundamentals of grammar.
Relation between the Subject and Predicate: Every complete sentence contains two parts: a subject and a predicate. The subject is what (or whom) the sentence is about, while the predicate tells SOMETHING ABOUT the subject.
A predicate is the grammatical term for the words in a sentence or clause that DESCRIBE the ACTION BUT NOT THE SUBJECT. In other words, the predicate EXPLAINS what the subject DOES.
Examples:
• The sun (subject) / was shining brightly (predicate).
• My younger brother (subject) / serves in the army (predicate).
• He saw the Spirit of God (subject) / descending like a dove (predicate).
Go back and read all the gospel accounts: Matthew 3:16 (Mark 1:10; Luke 3:22; John 1:32) And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him."
As we read the scripture, let’s focus on the last sentence as this verse is what is known as a compound sentence. Note: A compound sentence is a sentence that connects two independent clauses, typically with a coordinating conjunction like AND or BUT. They're best for combining two or more self-sufficient and related sentences into a single, unified one. Who else remembers this from grammar school?
So what was seen? The Spirit of God (subject). How did the Spirit of God descend? “Like a dove” (predicate). The predicate is not the subject, it only describes what the subject does.
Most people fail in reading and comprehension miserably to their own spiritual detriment. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that the Holy Spirit manifested into a dove. Look and look and still can’t see?
Now, in Luke 3:22 does it say “in the bodily form of a dove”? Nope! Skewed reading and compression as well as graven images depicting the baptism of Christ with a dove over His head has deceptively engrained and ruined the image of the Holy Spirit (just like images of Jesus) for so many. The Holy Spirit of God depicted as an animal? Really? Paganism at its finest! Only a fallen angel (Satan) was depicted as an animal (a serpent) in scripture.
So what does the “bodily form” of the Spirit look like? Let’s read the scriptures on what happened on the Day of Pentecost when the believers received the Holy Spirit and see the actual description of what the Holy Spirit looked like. Let the Bible interpret itself for it is written:
“Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be TONGUES OF FIRE that separated and CAME TO REST ON EACH OF THEM." (Acts 2:2-3).
Better believe it as John the Baptist said this about Jesus for it is written: “He will baptize you will the Holy Spirit and fire”. (Matt. 3:11)
Stop being deceived (Rev. 12:9). Unlearn the lies and let the Bible explain itself!
Repent for the Kingdom of God is near!
