I could've watched like half a season with the wellness center, this episode is absolutely iconic!
One of my favorites if not the fave of faves.
Hahaha, definitely! I was smiling like an idiot that episode!
This episode was a joy. When the montage ends with all the dancers posing, you can hear the crew clapping and cheering in the background, and I totally understand why.
So glad they kept the smile line in
Anyone else find Kayvan Novak distractingly beautiful? Not so much with the vampire cult hair (was perfect for the that episode, though), but just him sitting in front of the camera in this Variety video - gorgeous man!
I still can’t believe this episode got nominated for an Emmy. So awesome
My mind is always blown when seeing writers of anything. Especially this being my favorite show of ever. You just see these characters say and do these things but to see actual real people that write the words is always just crazy to me.
Every episode is just great. This one was hilarious, sad, fun, love the 80's 90's atmosphere
the production value of this episode was just fantastic !!!
The writers for this show are crazy good! Stumbled across this show on Hulu and binged every season.
I had no idea all the show runners for this show were women!
I also never realized that was Cree Summer, one of the voices of my childhood! This show always has the best cameos.
"I know the whole fcking song!" HAHAHA! One of my favorite lines of that episode.
I find it so weird to see Kayvan out of character
Seriously! This was my first time seeing an interview with him, and it just shows how great of an actor he is, cause the whole time I kept having to remind myself that he (Kayvan) plays Nandor. They seem like two completely separate people.
In pretty sure ive seen him in that same shirt or a similar Hawaiian shirt before lol he does cameos in his bathroom and they are so funny. He seems like a average fella. Heard he was engaged IRL too
duuuuuude, I keep going "why isn't he doing his accent????? Oh, because he's not nandor"
I remember Cree Summer from her A DIFFERENT WORLD days. Since then, she's been in the deep end of voice-over acting for cartoons for so long that it's always a delightful surprise to see her IRL :)
In case you haven't seen it, she is on several episodes of a show called Better Things.
Im not familiar with her work what else has she done
@@tywestra found out thru a podcast that she was the voice actor for Susie (angelicas bf) in Rugrats. she has done tons of voice work. she was Penny in the Inspector Gadget cartoon from the 80s.
@@tywestra look it up
@@doublefeature Holy shit, Inspector Gadget!!!! Great memories as a kid. Thank you.
I assume Kayvan's shirt is just a shirt, but it sure is giving me "pirate wrapping gown" vibes and I love it.
Every time this song comes on the radio now I get like a weird kick of joy and it takes me a couple of seconds to realize it’s because of this now😂😂
I love how Kayvan sang the song he's such a beautiful man ❤
cree summer was soooo good this whole episode
As a Barenaked Ladies and What We do in the Shadows fan this was meant to be🇨🇦😀
This was so lovely to watch. Everyone involved is so passionate and radiates positivity. The set seems like a fantastic place to work and collaborate and it really translates into the quality of the show 👍🏻 love to see it!
This was such a great episode I truly expect to see a part two of this storyline.
That song..I've learned the lyrics but still haven't perfected the nandor accent. I'm going to sing it to my wife on our anniversary.
the writing team sounds like they would be fun people to talk with! it must be such a fun writers room!
This was one of my favourite episodes, a cult where vampires want to be human again, every scene was on point.
Love the show and loving the new season but this particular episode is my absolute favorite!
This is one of my fave eps of WWDITS (this and "Private School") and seeing all the work and thought that went into it makes me like it even more!
Also I'm a lesbian, but there's something about Kayvan in that workout gear . . .
@@stephanied2401 real
I’m on this series all the time just re-watching it I love it
This was one of the top episodes of an amazing series. My only regret is not getting Cree in more episodes.
I'm still trying to find the blue sweatshirt that Nandor wore in the wellness center!! It was such a look
And CREE SUMMERS!!!
I thought this was inspired by the Goldfrapp - Alive music video but I guess vampires in 80s workout clothes is just universally funny.
I listened to this song so much as a kid. I was overjoyed when I heard it play during the episode and could even sing along ahaha
Love this show
My fave episode of all 4 seasons. Just genius.
My favorite show!
Great episode. I absolutely love Nandor.
I wanna see an episode where the vampires have to deal with a human pandemic.
I love this show!!!!!!!lovelovelove
I love this show!
This show (Credits be to the Monsieur Waititi's movie) is BRILLIANT!!!! I love that I love this series!!!!
Don't forget about Jemaine Klement
Love this song since I was maybe 5 watching the English dub for the first Digimon movie, it made this scene even more magical for me
MYYYYY FAV SHOW
Him singing that song made me laugh so hard
this episode changed my life
I love this show 💓
Definitely the episode I recommend to people who haven’t been charmed by this gem of a show
Awesome 👏
i have a hard time just talking to people normally, how on earth do they improv so well?
As a socially awkward person who loves acting it's actually much easier than having real life conversations. When you're acting you're not actually yourself, you're an idea, an exaggeration of reality. While in person everything you say speaks for you as a person, so it's much harder to come out of your shell since you're representing yourself and not a character. That aside, being rhetorically versed and witty is also a learned skill and these actors have years of experience on their hands.
It would-be cool to see what all they had to do and got through during the pandemic. All these shows and movies had to do some crazy stuff. Like the cast from the newest jurassic world they all had to live together
This was a great episode and I absolutely think Nandor (usually) has the best clothing on the show.
I really hope we see Jan again sometime…
It would be a real shame and waste if her character doesn’t come back, Cree Summer is too talented to be a one off!
This show has the best comedy writing on TV. Amazing characters too!
what a laugh … what a laugh … for the season
The movie Perfect was the first thing I thought of when I saw this episode😂
Oh my goodness
The funniest thing is that now with the gene Nandor can just wish to no longer be a vampire
I know the whole fucking song.
I have some physical comedy … what a laugh! what a vampire …
I have one week since you looked at me
Faaaathhheeeerrrr
Omg is that drew Barrymore?
Oh What we do in he Shadows???
Haha I’m done
AI could not write this kind of show.
I wanted Jan to break up the wedding!
He's so tan! How did Nandor survive so much sun?
They probably have a bronze spray specifically formulated for vampiric skin.
This woman, Stefani Robinson, she looks so pissed off... Her energy doesnt match with this funny movie.
How stupid all the Covid “rules” sound now (and did at the time too)
I'm not feeling the show the movie was brilliant tho
Damn, its the opposite for me💀
Oh my goodness
