I love Charlotte but she’s actually emotionally damaged from her past relationships and she’s ruining her present one and most likely her future ones. She needs to see someone, sort herself out because it’s not healthy for her and her partners.
I think it's also partly the age gap as well....He's in his early 20s so partying with his boys is a lot to him, she's nearly 30 so that part of her life is over. Not saying that age gaps are always an issue but in this relationship unfortunately I think it is

She's 30 and likely wants to settle down. He's not reassuring her properly (like most 24 year olds who are not looking for commitment). This is normal relationship growing pains. They just need to learn how to communicate properly. Charlotte needs to be more open about her needs and expectations, while giving Josh the trust and space he needs. Josh needs to ask her about her work schedule, so he can work around it. This isn't that serious. I hope that these two make the distance, I think they make a great couple.

I know I'm very late, but I'm 22 and my boyfriend is 28 and there isn't an issue with our age gap we never ever argue like this in fact we rarely do. I think it's a case shes wanting a man who will marry her kids the lot and I'm not sure he is even wanting kids. He definitely doesn't love her and I feel like she is still not over Gaz
Problem is there was no balance. Sometimes have boys night, just as sometimes she should have girls night. Sometimes have time just the two of ya, and sometimes have the partner come WITH you and your friends. It really isn’t hard to maintain that balance.
It helps solidify trust and socialising, and making the relationship healthy.
It’s the same with work, work and life also need a balance. She is free weekends, so make a weekend free for her.
And I know people will say he is younger but that means nothing, I’m 8 years younger than my partner and she is my absolute world, but we both also understand balance between each other, with friends and family, and with all together.

Your allowed your own time together with own friends and family and also time together as a couple. For example here josh Should be allowed to go out with his mates with or without Charlotte,It shouldn’t be when Charlotte is free it’s not just on her terms. It’s not healthy to speak every fucking minute of every hour of every day together you should have hobbies gym ect time apart.
