    Auxins promote flowering in pineapple.., as per ncert. does ethylene work with auxin to do so?

      Cytokinin will usually play roles with Auxin.
      But none of the books has mentioned that ethylene with other PGR

    Mam...u said it promotes flowering in pineapple but actually it inhibits flowering in many plants except pineapple

    If we spray ethylene on a ripening fruit .. Will it get ripened from outside and then from inwards or it's just the property of ethaphore to start fruit ripening from outside ... If it's only ethaphore then what's the big change that makes only ethaphore do that way ??

      ethylene is used to detached senescence parts of plants and it will stimulate the other chemicals in reproductive phase so that the formation can briskly initiates.

      ethylene is gaseous in nature so hence we require it in a liquid form so we need to use ethaphore and ethaphore consist of ethylene and it just not initiates but process upto end however capillary action can also be involved in this.

      Gibberelin is an organic compound which promotes growth in plants it was isolated from a fungus known as Gibberalla fujikuroi.
