I just wanted to say thank you Paul for your teaching videos, they are absolutely amazing! I find them very informative and proper educational, in comparison to the tons of “paint with me tutorials” out there that have no teaching value. I paint watercolour but I find everything you cover directly applicable, thank you 🙏
I love this idea. I get bored looking at paintings that use the same basic green, yellow, orange, and blue over and over. I love the idea of pink, orange, or violet in snow or using non-traditional colors to suggest dirt.
Appreciate your instruction, it's very helpful. I would like to see some more time lapses of your color studies included in the videos, I know you include those sometimes, I personally find them particularly helpful. Keep up the great work!
Would you please advise how to create spot light in our painting while our reference photo does not have spot light and is shot under difused light. Thanks.

Thanks Alex, watercolorists are always welcome
I’m here to stand up for the cyan, magenta, yellow crowd. Your paint overs are paint overs are amazing as always.
Thank you!
Please do a video of how to paint figures and horses in landscape. Would like to watch your process of painting them in. Thx.

Useful educational video, may I ask you to explain how you choose your colors whenever you're about to start a nee art work, thank you
Can you tell us what tool you are using to design/fill in the color schemes? Or are you adding color to individual shapes?
Hi Jane, I'm using photoshop to fill in the shapes, all done on the computer
Would you please advise how to create spot light in our painting while our reference photo does not have spot light and is shot under difused light. Thanks.
I don’t understand what you’re asking. Can you rephrase?
I’ve been doing these in thumbnails but doing them digitally makes sense
Digital thumbnails are helpful. but don’t take the place of doing it in paint
