NOTE: Parts of this video are out of date, specifically at 8:01. Thanks @Drew Watt for pointing this out. The general approach is still correct. TH said that they're going to make some more update on September 1. I'll try and come out with a new video as soon as I can (I've got a day job after all) once the new one is released. My recommendation: don't wait on me. You've got this. Take the approach here, do your own breakdown, and make it happen.
I found this video while struggling heavily with this Superbadge. After watching, I completed the project in about 3 hours. I have now passed! Super helpful, thank you
Woohoo! Good job getting it done. I'm glad you found it helpful. There are videos for the other superbadges on the admin trailmix too.
@@JeffreyAlhadeff Subscribed! Will definitely follow along here as I go.
1 I like that you speak slowly. 2. Thank you for making this unmanageable (appearing) beast into something that makes sense. I love the way you broke it down. Easy to follow. Thank so much.
1. Thanks. I’m the anomaly on UA-cam. 2. And now, you can use this approach for most any complex problem.
First off I want to say thank you. I really didn't know where to start with this challenge. I ended up taking your advice and wrote out what they wanted requirement by requirements. Once I had a list of what to do it was go time. You really were not kidding when you said they literally tell you what to do in the text. It's subtle but once you pick it up everything is literally a how to. Thank you for changing my mind set on how to take in info! 2d-->3d thinking!!
Nice job making it happen!
Thank you SO much for making this! I was pulling my hair out after my first run at this superbadge. But after documenting and organizing the requirements per your advice, I was able the clearly identify what needed to be done and was able to focus on the tasks nessecary to complete each challenge. I was able to clear the badge on my 2nd attempt with only a minor hiccup or 3. Thanks again, I very much appreciate the help. Cheers 🍻
That's awesome Greg! Nice job documenting and organizing. That is a skills that will help you out for the rest of your career. Thanks for sharing.
Just want to say a huge Todah Rabah for making this video. I’m about to start this badge and your video has given me ideas as to how to create a requirements document in a format that I’m used to and has also highlighted for me areas I need to revisit before starting the exercise. I have subscribed and look forward to checking out more of your content.
A pleasure. I'm glad it helped. Best of luck to you.
This video was a lifesaver. Thank you for taking the time to be such a helpful resource! I began this superbadge without a strategy in mind and thought I could just power through it. After I made a mess of it, I started fresh and watched your video. It made all the difference and gave me a framework to tackle the challenge!
Woohoo!! Thanks so much for sharing! And I’m so glad you actually put in the work to use it. In the process, you’ve built skills you can use for every complex challenge you’ll run into in you professional career. Well done.
Really appreciate your effort to break it down into simpler parts for beginners. Thank you so much!
You’re welcome!
Jeff, thank you!
Thanks to you! I'm so glad it helped.
Thanks for this video, i have got only because of you.
Hey Mayur, I doubt it. It might have taken a lot longer, but you would have been able to do it. I know I gave up the first time I tried, then waited like six months till I attempted it again. I'm glad the video helped.
you made it so well and clear any doubt that any would have. I have cleared mine by just watching it once your video. thanks
Woohoo! That’s great to hear. Good luck.
Can you tell me the steps for user authentication I got stuck
@@skullgaming5961 This is a credential. I can't give answers.
I've been working on the Multi-factor verfication superbadge and it has been a complete nightmare, I was literally on the last challenge and none of my username or passwords work I mean none of them not even the ones I had to create for the challenge has anyone else had this issue?
Ask the Trailhead team for help.

Is this video still up to date? I'm struggling to see how some of these requirements were gleaned from the information on the instructions for the superbadge
Hey Drew. I think it is. From the module, :Security Specialist superbadge will be updated and a new prerequisite badge will be published on September 1, 2022."
I gotta be honest, I'm not looking forward to updating this video.
Where are you stuck? Can you give me a specific timestamp that doesn't make sense? I can take a look.
@@JeffreyAlhadeff In your video at 08:01 you list the general security requirements for Remote and Mobile Users. I've gone back to the superbadge instruction page to see if I could make sense of it better since you boiled down the information, however, I can't see or understand where those requirements come from based on what I am seeing in the instructions.
@@drewwatt9980 I think you're right. It looks like they did make some changes. Bummer. Well, the approach is still the same, but I've gotta update this video.
@@drewwatt9980 I just added a new note and pinned my comment to let people know that parts are out of date. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
@@JeffreyAlhadeff Okay, no problem. Thanks for your responses and help!
