There are many copycat artists, but there is only one Peter Cetera! A talented man with a voice of pure gold. He has gone into retirement but I am SO thankful for the ability to listen to him sing when I’m at home, in the car, or taking a stroll. Anytime I want to! Technology!!! I never got to hear him live. 2020 took away all of our in person concerts. 😔 Same for 2021. Soon, our state is shutting down fir 30 days. Thank heaven for the many ways to listen to our favorite artists. It is now August 17, 2021 and Peter Cetera fills up my heart with his songs. Thank you!!! I am so thankful for finding Peter Cetera and Chicago…sitting on the beach between my college classes and work! Lots of people had this thing called transistor radios and we could put our favorite tape cassettes in them! 😂
Still listening in 2022. This is one of the finest live performances delivered by Peter Cetera, with beautifully done arrangements by an outstanding orchestral section. Thank you for posting this. Amazing to have this performance recorded in HD to be enjoyed forever.
I agree @Eduardo Sejas. His voice is beautiful and blends in harmony with Kim! There is only ONE Peter Cetera and I love his voice! Thank you Mr. Cetera!
In my opinion, this is one of Peter's best concerts of his entire career! He hit every single note perfectly on every song! It's like listening to the studio version of each song! Absolute perfection! Superb! ❤
This is hands down one of the best live performances that I have seen. Just raw talent no special effects or fake tracks. Amy is raw real and wholesome as she ever is and Peter, what a legend what a crooner the guy could convince any woman to marry him with that voice singing to her haha but I digress he’s sensational and that orchestra and all the musicians I will definitely be watching this again, thanks so much for sharing!
Peter Cetera is among the greatest male vocalist ever in my opinion. Even today he can hold his own. Chicago was and still is one of my favorite groups. Peter Cetera was Chicago. The band was awesome but Cetera made Chicago famous. The chemistry of Cetera and Amy Grant is electric...wish they had performed together much more! Amy Grant...wow...what a beautiful lady!
Surprisingly I would expect far more views in a year for a performance of this high quality. Peter Cetara's voice is unbelievably high quality. That type of singing is extremely difficult for most anybody to sustain throughout a concert without getting or looking winded, light headed ready to pass out. The band sounds incredibly detailed and complimentary in its sonic nuances true to the original recordings, all true professionals.
So this came on the TV. On Axes maybe? It's like Verizon's Palladia. And it brought me right back to my youth. I played all of Peter cetera's and Amy Grant's by the way, music, at my campus radio station. Totally brought me back. This music is so good.
I was 6 y.o. when I first heard his song Glory of Love. I was so mesmerized and felt like I was in a magical place or in a fantasy. Now I'm 34 but still in love with his voice. You will always be my favourite artist Peter. I'm just a little sad that I won't be able to see you perform live. Thanks for all the music. 💖
I'm 45 and loved him in the 80s too! In 2017 he played on Long Island near where I live now and I was like --- this is it! One of the best concerts ever and he was 72.
Glad i found this performance. What raw and undeniable talent all on one stage. Peter was imo the best voice of Chicago. I was listening to them at 5 years old, and their music has been with me ever since. My guilty pleasure. Love Amy too, such a voice and shes gorgeous too :) This is one of the best live, orchestra supported performances ive seen.
I totally agree with you Jack. So far, this is the 6th day I've just HAD to hear (and watch) this. Just out of ignorance, I've never been a fan of Amy Grant, but since I "accidentally" found this on UA-cam. As they say, "Ignorance can be fixed" thank God! Then I called my brother just to find out that he and his family have been a fan of Amy's from the beginning. She truly has an inner beauty that shows up in her talent and ....well, in her simple yet honest demeanor. I'm an old man now, and after watching this particular concert, I realize what could have been had I stuck with music. I played the trombone all through school, but I let it slide. PS: Thanks to everyone for your comments; especially for revealing the name of that beautiful rhythm singer, "Kim Keyes" I also found her on UA-cam..what a talent she is. God bless everyone. Get ready for the return of Jesus. He's coming again but this time not extend His grace. He's going to carry off those who love Him and judge those who have rejected Him. I beg of you to find out Who He was/is and receive His gift of pardon. He IS coming....be ready!
I was watching Chicago before this and i have to say i missed Peter Cetera's voice it's so unique and amazing, i still love Chicago but it's not the same without Peter. He has such a charisma and soul when he sings and performs.
In 1969, while hanging in a park with friends contemplating Vietnam, I heard Chicago Transit Authority. Since then, 52 years ago, I have been unable to shake the voice of Peter Cetera. Still have CTA in my collection and all of Peter's solo music.
I wish I could have seen this live. The passion in his performances! No matter how many times I listen to the last song, it cuts me straight to the heart.

Oh, Eduardo. Thanks so much for this! Great clarity. Great comeback for Cetera. Clearly, Peter Cetera is one of those artists whom it's easy to write off as schmaltz - until you REALLY listen to his work, without prejudice. The lyrics, the melodies, the orchestration, and of course, that indelible voice are sublime, and this concert really showcases that. Please understand, NO ONE ever was a more fervent Chicago fan than I (I sang in a band at the time, and we covered their first 4 studio albums like mad!), and certainly, they hit a wall of no return when the irreplaceable Terry Kath died. But Cetera, I think, truly is proof that talent stands on its own merit, regardless of genre. He was my favorite bass-playin' rocker in the day (and very underrated, at that), and the original-7 lineup of Chicago BROUGHT IT. And yet … Cetera's solo work - yes, mostly ballads - has much to recommend it. We all change, evolve - musicians included. Sure, he's been criticized for selling out via ballads, but don't most of us do the same thing if given the opportunity? Make money the way we decide is best - hopefully, at something we enjoy doing? If anyone - woman OR man - isn't moved by "Have You Ever Been In Love?", then you really need a kick in the romance-pants. Viva Peter Cetera!

Bummer that Cetera has retired. I was fortunate enough to catch one of his last concerts a couple years ago. Amy we saw in October 2019. Never knew that she had such a great sense of humor! She played guitar on every song but one. Two wonderful musicians!

The best voice in the industry. Love Peter Cetera
Nice to hear Cetera doing the Chicago songs. Wish he would have performed Just You 'N Me.
Thank you so much for this! These version are better than studio.

Love his music and Chicago. I sure miss the heavy guitars and drums on the original of these songs though.
My precious time is hear his voice with this movie !

Bummer that Cetera has retired. I was fortunate enough to catch one of his last concerts a couple years ago. Amy we saw in October 2019. Never knew that she had such a great sense of humor! She played guitar on every song but one. Two wonderful musicians!
He is the best rock ballad singer ever
extra spezial Musik! ❤
