Nice video Les. I'm just starting to gather up spruce and plywood to get started on wing rib construction. I'll be referring to your
video a lot in the future. Nothing better than detailed pictures of the rib and spar assemblies. It's a work of art! Thanks, Tom.

One of the best build videos out there. I slow the speed down to get specifics.

I want to build one, but I have to admit it is a bit intimidating, but to be flying around in an airplane I built myself would be way cool! I have construction experience and a little welding, as well as some hobby rocket and plane experience, not worried so much about the technical aspect, just the sheer volume of work required! But I guess it is a "labor of love", so they say :)

This is a fantastic record of the steps involved in building, not to mention the high quality of construction. If the video’s speed is too fast for some, go up to the “Playback” (the 3 vertical dots) options and reduce the speed. 1/4th speed works best for me because I study the details better.

This is excellent! Thanks for posting. What's the story regarding the second fuselage in the garage?

After building this aircraft, do you think it could be built out of aluminum?

Where did you start? How did you figure out how all of the mechanics and parts worked together?

I like the idea of having the fuel tank in the front. How did the weight and balance work out, and what fuel pump did you use?

Hope you checked if titebond glue will not dissolve if wet. Carpenters wood glue does. I would not use it for an airplane. I would go with t-88

I'm beautiful, and I'm from Brazil, my friend, I'm writing to you by google translate, and you know where I find the same measurements and plans of your airplane ?, or if you really have it and you can send me a link where I I think, eutou prescizando a lot of measures, type of wings, and part of the engine, but if you can send me a link where I can find the measures I would appreciate, thank you already.

some observations. at 4:32, ALMOST All of the webbing plywood Could have been removed.! even, fewer but Larger cutouts Could have been used for Greater weight reduction, in the WING. which is a very good place for an airframe to get Lighter. cheers

bla-bla-bla. your statement may be correct. idk. by itself, this statement is a FAR from persuasive counter to mine.

a few more. at 9:54, there is no Good reason for the elevator trailing edge to not be a line, Parallel to the hinge line. that design Just puts Unnecessary Mass, right at the tail. which is exactly NOT where extra weight is wanted. the only good reason for the use of such a rudder trailing edge is for improved ground handling, via propwash. in the air, however, it serves NO purpose. if a dihedral main wing was used, ailerons and the Weight of their controls would not be Necessary; legal, idk. every video image is seriously distorted. i keep thinking the elevator is TOO close to the cg, for comfort. the stills in the video do not resolve this question, imo. cheers
