The maid found the grumpy in the bed and she was really upset so she took a picture and sent it to the house manager Kevin Murphy- SHE knows what the dog poop looks like, how big it is, she knows it couldn’t have come from a 4 pound teacup yorkie. The covers were pulled over the poop to hide it, a dog didn’t do that. Plus amber raged at the maid and accused her of sabotaging her relationship with Johnny and told her she needed to fix it or that she might not have a job anymore. Hilda Vargas was the maid that found it and she gave a sworn statement in the UK about it, probably in VA as well but it didn’t come in.
Also pretty shitty (pun intended) that Amber would leave that on the bed for the maid to clean up, as if she already didn't have enough shit (pun intended) to deal with in her workplace.
I LIVED for the grumpy vs stinky analysis. And his face got so red during certain parts of the dialogue. So funny and so adorable. Def keep doing what your doing on ALL subjects you discuss!
The grumpy word, he could have used any word, but he was trying to point out the "nature" of the action Regarding the incident and his answer to IO, according to his disregarding attitude and indifference for things, IDK, but it seems he didn't bother about the "matter", but to the IO-AH relationship on the "matter", and they trying to lie about it or giving it a credit or importance he wasn't actually giving. So he told IO kind of: "if you defends her cause you believe she's gonna fall in love with you, you can have it and/or her all for you" cause they were joking about him all the time, (for example when he lost the finger), and at this point he was disregarding the "whole" thing, including the "matter"
I was laughing so hard during that part! 😆 I don't even usually enjoy "potty humor" but Dr Honda just has such a pleasant and hilarious way of discussing EVERYTHING! LOL
Her testimony is the only thing that contradicts him. Her friends didn’t even corroborate most of what she said. They would only testify to her telling them things. None of them would say that they saw what she says happened. His account was corroborated by all of the bystanders and many of the things he talked about even her friends said was true. What makes him believable is that he admits to being an addict, to being late to work, to many other faults. He doesn’t have an inflated view of himself. He’s simply saying he didn’t beat and rape his wife. She is incapable of admitting fault in herself. Even the things there is proof of she tries to spin. That’s not the mark of someone credible.
@@raoulduke3000 depp made Amber ger rid of her place before they married. He said he would move in her friend's and take care of her her sister so she would give up her home and live him. He isolated her. He got mad if she even went across the street for pizza. The man is a classic abuser
@@angellover02171 one could also argue that he simply provided her and her whole crew with everything they wanted including rent free luxury apartments and houses out of generosity. If I remember correctly, during the trial even Amber and ALL of her friends stated that Johnny was a very generous guy. No one ever claimed that this was some kind of evil scheme to isolate Amber or anyone else for that matter! Get your facts straight, based on the testimonies of Amber and her friends!
I think Rocky did lie in order to ensure her continued free rent, hence why Amber asked for her penthouse in the “extortion “ letter from her attorney.
It’s odd to me that these freeloaders didn’t realise that they’d be better off siding with Johnny; he’s way more loaded with cash, way more generous with it, and by all accounts way better company than AH.
Yes! But then I think about a person who would lie to be a freeloader and ruin someone’s life. Of course they weren’t logical - just selfish and self-indulgent, driven by emotion.
Oh my goodness! 😂 Hearing Dr. Honda talk about "grumpy and stinky", and analyzing it with the same diligence he does anything else was the best thing ever. Thank you for making my day. Haha! In the same vein of you talking about your family calling number 1, sei sei (I definitely spelled it wrong). My family is from Pakistan and growing up we called number 1, su su. It's kinda interesting they sound similar.
I think this all hinges on the recordings of Heard saying that her attorney advised her to preemptively file for divorce and that the TRO was her insurance against being evicted from the “penthouses.” Her friends and sister had motivation to lie because they were also living rent-free in the penthouses. She included those 3 penthouses in her initial demands, and when Depp wanted to end the marriage amicably by making a joint statement, it was too late-at that point she was concerned that would affect her credibility and she refused to take it back (those comments are documented in another recording). In the Loft District those units would rent upwards of $5k a month, and finding affordable places to live is really, really difficult. For anyone who’s ever lived in L.A., that’s a ton of motive, where you live has everything to do with how you live, and it’s a miserable place to live if you’re poor.
Jd was working on the set in Australia it was AH who snuck the dogs on the plain she was the only one one the plain. She failed to fill out forms of vaccines on time witch is a big deal for environmental/ an animals safety. Just as a fisherman has to clean boat off from one lake to another. So it was AH who committed the felony an tried to get her workers to lie for her saying they did it:/
They flew back into Australia together after he had finger surgery on a private yet. He got away with it due to him leaning on the upper echelons of the Australian government. This was teased out in the UK trial and case with his former attorneys.
@@ek7390 What are you talking about? Kate James and Kevin Murphy both testified that Amber threatened them into making false statements regarding the dog smuggling because she utterly disregarded their warnings that it was illegal to do so.
From what I learned from Lawtubers, one of the exceptions to a hearsay objection is when the witness offers a statement from someone else that would lead to a specific state of mind. If it is not to prove that what was told actually happened but rather to explain why the witness did something, the objection should be overruled.
There's also an exception for "dying declarations" like the bank robbery example he gave. It includes statements made by the person even if they didn't die but thought they would
Meyers was not really agile in countering objections. In that particular case .... "may we approach--sidebar--yr honor it's not for the proof of the matter" but then you need to know why it's offered and state succinctly (state of mind, present sense impression or other things as noted by others).
Dear Dr. Kirk, I'm about to horrify you by informing you that you have been talking about poop for around 5 minutes (8:07 - 12:47) In other words, 1/5 of this video was about poop 😂😂😂
I am so looking forward to your reaction on Ambers cross examination! the house of lies just starts to fall apart there and it's incredibly satisfying.
I was walking with my nephew late at night one time when he was about 6 and I said we better watch out for psychopaths and he was quite for a while looking at the road and then asks "are we on a physco path right now?" 😂
No, Dr. Honda, don't stop, that's the best part of your videos (for me). I had a great time listening to you speculating about words like grumpy and stinky. Made me laugh, and I really needed that. Thank you! I got the feeling he is downplaying his anger a bit that night. If I remember right, his mother died the day before that and that's when he decided to get a divorce. He went over to the penthouse to get some of his things and to end the relationship for good. So I am sure he was very sad and emotional, which probably includes anger, when Amber Heard reacted that way. Doesn't mean that he hit or injured her, I don't think he did, but for me it felt like this was the time that he was closest to hit her (as a reaction to her attack), if he would have stayed and Amber Heard used his anger for her advantage, convincing her friends to help her. I do believe his version (excluding his anger) of the "event" more. His bodyguard confirmed it and for me most importantly the police officers saw no injuries on her and no damages to the penthouse. Plus the bodycam video of the two police officers who answered the second call shows no wine stain on the carpet in the hallway whatsoever, completely opposite from what Amber Heard and her friends have been saying. Just my opinion and thoughts.
Would have been interesting to see the metadata on the spilled wine picture in particular - as that can be verified by time against the bodycam footage (ie; taken after the police had left) In any case, for all of her major abuse stories there appears to be either audio or some other completely objective piece of evidence to refute her testimony. And she's still banging on now, she needs help.
@@fionarangel9486 I feel so sorry for the court stenographer that Amber Heard and her friends are harassing and bullying now. The stenographer is such a lovely lady, had a very stressful and hard job and did nothing wrong. She deserved a thank you and they are trying to take that away from her and are demeaning her. So unfair and unnecessary. 😞
@@zeynepgulsu1899 the truth is obviously very triggering for you. Maybe you should stay offline and go do something that doesn’t require social media or an internet connection.
Dr. Honda, you mentioned in your previous videos (#36 I believe) that you wanted to maybe watch the cross of Johnny and then move on to Amber's testimony for your curiosity and also to please your audience. I know this will probably be an unpopular opinion but I highly recommend watching the testimonies in order because watching them out of order limits the scope of information available to you in terms of evidence that may have already been presented but you are missing and therefore your possible theories may have a broader net to draw your inferences from. Also, at the end of the day trials are about strategy and effective and counter-effective moves on both sides to use the corroborating evidence to support their positions. I think that also played an important role in the overall narrative both parties attempted to convey which could have had a significant role in the jury's verdict as well. I think having that understanding is crucial to be as impartial as we can be to both sides during our analysis. Anyway, just a thought but glad to see that you are trying your best to find a happy medium to accommodate your audience. As always thank you so much for creating a community to openly have conversations on these difficult topics with compassion for both sides.
I totally agree! Dr. H has been going from the medical professionals to plaintiff witnesses back to professionals back to plaintiff… It’s a mess. Watching it in order will allow him to understand the information in the same way it was presented to the jury which is the best way to react to this trial. I hope he does it this way.
Unfortunately, it's too late for that because he already said a few days ago that he watched a part of Amber's direct testimony. I hope he goes back after her cross and watch the other witnesses' testimonies.
@@janeryan2709 totally with you on that Jane but I also understand he's doing what his audience wants. Hopefully, he'll see my message and maybe continue in order :)
@@douyenphan True he did say that and hopefully, he does. It would honestly be less confusing for him because this trial is complex enough as is. Also, that way he doesn't have to correct his previous statements either. That would be hard to keep up with I think.
I understand the sentiment at 15:50, someone who's angry should act more forcefully, but if you listen to the very end of the San Francisco recording when he realizes she's been recording him without his knowledge, he behaves exactly the way he describes here.
Even Amber's account of what happened is rediculous! She said her and her friends were getting ready for Coachella and they didn't want the dogs to poop on the floor so they put the dog that frequently has accidents on the floor on the bed and then not dog pooped on the bed. In this account of what happened she is claiming specifically that it was Johnny's dog boo hoo pooped on the bed meaning she saw that dog poop on the bed or she left only his dog on the bed and that dog was the one that frequently had bowel issues and it pooped on the bed. Either way with this story she witnesses his dog poop in their bed and then LEAVES for Coachella for 3 days. And her excuse for why this wasn't payback for something for Johnny was because she says Johnny doesn't even go to that house. Which again makes no sense because in that instance what we're claiming is she didn't leave the poop there out of anger she just left it there. Which just makes her look like she's the type of person who just casually and randomly will leave poop in her bed for a maid to come and clean up and find. Even if her account is true she's a terrible terrible person for leaving that for someone else to deal with. Arguably more terrible because she has absolutely nothing against the cleaning staff!
The size of the grumpy was not conformal to the rear end of a 4 lb dog, not merely the amount. If they had medium to large dogs it would have been possible, but not from teacup yorkies.
I'm surprised JD didn't call a dog poop expert. More nonsense to distract and confuse the jury. Literally throwing shit against the wall to see what sticks.
The little bastards couldn't even jump up the stairs bc they're so small.😂 Like HOW are they gonna jump up the bed and take a shit if they can't even jump up the stairs. Lol
@@tellthetruthna8523 You mean distract and confuse like when AH submitted to evidence two differently cropped photos of the exact same wine spill and testified to them on the stand during her direct as being two separate incidents over a year apart, and when confronted on this fact during counterclaim rebuttal cross initially attempted to brazen it out and then panicked and attempted to hide behind a metadata excuse? That sort of distract and confuse?
@@ravenshrike No, I mean distract and confuse like lawyers do when they know their case sucks. I've done it myself, although never with this much sleaze. I have no knowledge of whatever nonsense you are droning on about.
@@tellthetruthna8523 Tell me you didn't watch the trial without telling me you didn't watch the trial. Only one side obviously falsified multiple pieces of photo evidence, submitted it to the court, and testified to it's veracity on the stand, and it wasn't Johnny Depp's side.
This judge has a very strict definition of heresay, but your instinct is correct, that there are often exceptions for explaining state of mind or next step actions that would keep the testimony moving.... this is according to lawyers commentating on the case. I am not a lawyer.
I don’t care how everyone else feels about the topic of the “grumpy”. I had the same questions, just trying to understand the entire situation and the factors. Humans are very complicated beings that I am constantly trying to understand. Love your work.
On the texts about filing if he hadn’t filed and responded she would’ve kept everything she was asking for, the three penthouses, 50,000 car, etc. And I believe the retraining order would’ve been make permanent as well. She is trying to convince him that his lawyers are manipulating him towards his detriment which is not the case at all she just wanted to keep everything and thought he would just let her
her “witnesses” also stood to gain. She was asking for the 3 penthouses that she, her sister and friends were living in, with him continuing to pay the bills. Her attorney told her they would all be evicted immediately if she did not file first. In LA. those places would rent for about $5k a month, and that’s if you can get ‘em.
I initially thought Rocky, IO, and Josh Drew were malicious liars like Amber, but now I've come to the conclusion they probably were just tricked by Amber into thinking she was being abused and therefore helped her frame Johnny to fabrciate "evidence." Regardless, that's still a damn shitty thing to do since you can't fabricate crime scenes based on one's party's claims. Those "friends" aren't as bad as Amber, but they pretty nearly are.
He once found out there is a tape were she secretly taped him and he reacts rather calm. On one tape they fought over the phone and bc it got to a point it was to much, he asked for a second and he left the room. Even when they had a fight on the phone he left.
Thank you for sharing with us your reactions, comment and knowledge Dr. Honda! And I loved the grumpy vs stinky analysis! I think a lot of us love to hear your thoughts on pretty much anything and everything!
In Cantonese, as kids we said shu shu for pee because it’s the sound it makes, and chow chow for poo, meaning stinky stinky. It makes perfect sense to me! (Maybe grumpy is the face you make when you teach a child to push it out!!)
I'll share my family shame. We always called it "making bones" which is so weird! I think my brother or I made the connection with the dogs poop looking like bones when it dried out. Ugh! The whole thing is such a weird thing. Thanks for sharing.
This is interesting, because we uses to use the phrase "Make no bones about it," when meaning "I am being serious." That meaning seems more sinister now
I love your stinky anecdote! My mom used to hate the word "pee" so she called it "wee-wee". I still have no idea where she got that, and I didn't know it was strange until I was a teenager
Over here in Germany a common "toddler German" term for "to take a dump" is "A-a machen" ("to make uh-uh"). It's not just something from my family, virtually everybody over her uses "A-a" for "fecal matter" when being or talking to a toddler. Damn it, I am 51yo now and I still say that to my gf sometimes when we're on a long car drive and I ask her to take a short break somewhere, so I can take a dump. "Darling, can you please stop the car somewhere, I have to make uh-uh." ^^
@UCa3Ns9pk_fx7GkC9p_fIAUw I think some people present plain evil behaviours and at some point we can't show more tolerance. Besides, the truth is not always somewhere in the middle IMO
Yes!!! Especially after he kept saying in previous videos that he believed some of Heard's most horrific claims against Depp. I'm really hoping he's on the journey many of us took who entered the trial believing Depp was guilty, then--because of the evidence--exited it believing he was the victim.
Regarding the "help help" type of behavior where he's all the way across the room, I've actually seen this play out with my mom. One of the last times she visited her sister by herself (I now drive her and stay for the afternoon, then take her home with me), she came back insisting that my uncle called her vile names and my aunt physically abused her. My aunt and uncle didn't allow her back to the house for a solid year because they were so offended. Mom was accusing them of abusing their mother (Gigi is in end stage dementia and has been under their care for 8 years), and then when my Aunt said something she didn't like, Mom decided she would leave. Aunt stepped into the doorway to try and talk it out and Mom told her she would call the police for kidnapping if she didn't let her pass. I've seen this behavior as well in our own interactions, weaponizing the authorities when I tried to make her see a psychiatrist. All I can say based on my own experience as a lay person is I believe Heard did that because she felt out of control. If the goal with HPD is attention all the time and with BPD avoidance of abandonment, it makes sense to me that enforcing control in the situation and seeking to establish abuse would ensure the continuance of attention from others even if the original source of attention flees. It also serves as a punishment for inflicting suffering on them, which they view as the other person's fault and not a product of their own insecurities. It sounds pretty typical to me of someone who feels entitled to regain control in any way possible and to inflict punishment in any way possible with the goal of both control and vindication. Very strange to the outside observer but his testimony made sense to me because I've dealt with this kind of thing many times.
This video was so entertaining!! My husband was watching with me and he was laughing so much. We loved how u were analyzing grumpy and why he called it that. That is tv gold Dr. Honda!! Love your objective commentary and your curiosity!! Keep doing what you are doing
Dr. Kirk coming out the gate with the hard hitting questions 😂🤣 I need just the grumpy vs sticky monologue as a clip to go back to when I need a good laugh lol
He could be somewhat agressive in his tone and taking the phone from her hand. Throwing a cellphone is always aggressive in my view. But not to be called such abusive and that he threw the phone on her. She has some pathological lying issues.
Same. I'm not saying Johnny was a doormat in their relationship, because he probably did snap back at Amber or slam stuff around when pushed to the edge, but that's not abuse imo, particularly when it's done in a reactive way to verbal or physical abuse. AND he seems pretty damn reasonable in those recordings considering the fact that she's gaslighting and barraging him with insanity nonstop.
When my immediate family gets together for a meal, at some point my mom always laments "can we not have one family dinner where we don't talk about bathroom topics?!" The answer is no. 😂
Loved the grumpy/stinky discussion lol. I love learning about words and their origins. I recently learned that the word for disease comes from dis-ease
I’ve thought about it: I think grumpy is because when you’re pushing it out, maybe it’s not exiting easily, so you push hard and your face maybe looks “grumpy” from the effort. I barely ever comment on UA-cam and this is what I decided to share with the world 😅
I’m a hapa from Hawaii who grew up with “shi shi” and other words like “bocha” (bath). I always thought the terms were Hawaiian pidgin Japanese words. Nice to hear shi shi is also used by Japanese Americans on the mainland…. It’s like we are connected through the language and culture. Although, I really only know a few Japanese words 😆 Very cool, thanks for sharing Dr Honda!!
"SHI-SHI is what we all say in Hawaii. It may have come from imported plantation workers around the turn of the 20th century. Shi-shi is the most common used word for #1 here. "Kukai" (probably Polynesian word,) is for #2.
"Did they put a banana for scale next to it or a quarter for scale..." I was in the middle of clay sculpting when I suddenly paused at this visualization popping into my mind 😂
Honestly that was a dumb question on his part. It was a picture of his bed with that on top of it. If you were sent a picture of your bed, one would think you’d know the scale.
I'm dying at "shee-shee"!!!! I'm from hawaii and of asian/native descent but not Japanese. We also used "shee-shee" growing up and still do use that with our kids!
it was their bedroom, common bed. not only his bed. the pic with the grumpy is on internet and for sure it didn't come out from a yorkshire terrier ( I have a small dog myself).
Although this is a very serious situation, all I can think about is how this is literally the Always Sunny episode "Who Pooped The Bed" in real life and it's giving me a much needed laugh.
A decade ago I had a roommate and friend (possibly who had BPD) threatened the clean the toilet with my toothbrush which reminds me of the "turd in the bed" punishment. My crime was tagging a picture of her on Facebook a few weeks after I deleted some other photos on Facebook that had made her feel insecure because she didn't know who might see them (while looked harmless to me). I, of course, took down the new picture (again, an ordinary harmless picture of her volunteering at a public event), and afterwards asked her to promise she'd never do that, and shockingly she doubled down and said "If that's the only way I can get you to listen to me..." I told her it was a threat, and she denied it was a threat because I had control over my actions, so she'd only have to do it if I broke her request, so it would be my responsibility not hers. A WEEK LATER, I said something again seemingly harmless, that made her angry, and she gave me the silent treatment for an hour before leaving for the weekend, and still not talking to me until leaving she smiled, almost laughing, saying "Have a good weekend", not looking at me, and not accepting my apology for hurting her. Later that night I found my toothbrush in the bathroom trash, whether she put in the toilet or not, apparently she left up to my imagination. I guess this is called passive-aggressive behavior. I tried to be extra nice to her for another 3 months (didn't want to lose my friend), and while she was planning on finding her own place, I felt the topic could be discussed. But didn't know how, so I asked her in writing to leave and said I was tired of being afraid of her. I told her she could stay longer if she paid more rent, $500 instead of $300, and this made her angry she said her mom said I was "acting like a controlling husband" and also weird phrase "I refuse to beg" like I was a "powerful male" who could make her homeless, and she also said "This is the most manipulative thing anyone ever did to me." which all made me start doubting her victim status, even if I understood those words were not literal, but feelings. I tried talking one more time, told her I was afraid of her, which she discounted, so I mentioned a ceramic bowl she intentionally shattered in one rageful moment a year earlier, and the tooth brush threat, and she made some retort, dismissing because months ago, and she turned to walk away from me, and I foolishly went around her to the door, and she instantly changed from contempt to terror. And this friend of 15 years wouldn't look at me, but looked over my shoulder outside and screamed and said "Help! Help! Somebody help me!" And after a few seconds seeing she wouldn't calm down, I stepped aside and she said without looking at me "You knew I couldn't be cornered" or something I had a rough memory of a boyfriend who blocked her exit in an argument and grabbed her arm. I'm glad I didn't touch her at all in that interaction, and she only appeared once more with her dad, because I was too dangerous to be alone with. I was glad, and I talked to him a bit, thought he'd be angry at me as well, but he just was there to support her, and he knew crossing his daughter never helped. Funnily as well months earlier her dad had called her "Drama queen" to a innocent request for quiet after midnight when we stayed over at their house, so he had his own defenses which invalidated his daughter, and apparently these things can't be talked about in their family. The main thing I learned is once someone treats you with contempt, the question is never "What can I handle?" But to see contempt is a cover for shame, and she could never see me as a friend again. I was just someone who had to be controlled to "protect" her self. Now I see this is what "devaluation" feels like, being a person moving from "supportive friend" into "selfish manipulator" trying to punish her with money, so I had to be punished. I am reminded of that experience from Amber's exploits, while obviously Amber was much more dominant to Johnny, while my roommate mostly said "I hate conflict" and what she really meant is she couldn't handle it because it means other people can judge her, describe their views which contradicts her protective rationalizations. Now I see shame can be so painful you'd rather die than feel it directly, and contempt and rage are maybe the only emotions strong enough to contain it, however destructive it is to your family and personal relations. It was also a little helpful to see her own parents ways of seeing helped mold it, her mom reinforcing idea "men control women" and her dad reinforcing his "men have to have autonomy and not be told what to do", so lots of complex boundary issues and I only saw a few of them.
This is a message to the doctor and everyone here, I love you all 🤟🏻 Thank you for not be a view count chaser and keep doing the video, you will this is going to be a long tail and in the long run there will be more people come here to watch and learn. @@erikahish some people might find certain topics difficult to stomach, but part of growing up and being mature is to explore everything, it’s not just about “I like” it’s about “why I don’t like this”. The avoidance strategies might have its place as you might need to catch your breath sometime. However it cannot be a long term strategies as my experience tells me the more you run the more it will come back and haunt you. In french “ça va?” Means “how’s going ?” Urban legend say it used to mean “how’s our King’s poop going today?” Because the King has his poop examined by the chief physician everyday. So “grumpy” or “stinky” is a very important topic indeed.
I didn’t know you could endear yourself any further to me!! Is it grumpy? Are you grumpy when you do it? I haven’t laughed this hard in too long. Thanks Dr Kirk!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes! Nerdy talk!! My first language is Italian, and it's so interesting to me that you don't share the same words for number 1 e 2. In Italy, even if we use very different dialects, we will all use pipì (#1) and pupù (#2 - we have many words for it, but this is the cutest one). Also, that was a wonderful stress relief moment, very much appreciated. Thank you!!!
I wanted to thank you for your videos and all of your insight. I am in a clinical psychology program and pursuing LPCC licensure, and I feel I learn more from your videos than from my actual classes. Thank you so much.
Dr. Kirk...you make me laugh when you say "Can it Happen"...Yes. I've heard worse. I agree that the heresay gets very frustrating. It is the lawyer's job to ask the questions in such a way that the information is not based on what another person told them....I guess that is why we aren't lawyers. Thanks for your videos!! What a funny video this was today..
xixi or pipi is said regularly for number 1 in Portugal, cócó is for number 2. and it is very interesting when you go into the sidelines. also i feel grumpy when i can't or hurts while doing it, the pain expression from both points of view can be called grumpy and also i think that might be the word he associates to his mother when she had to take care of him since his earlier age.
Amber blames the dogs, but they're actually very tiny dogs, so idk. One of johnny's security guards said that amber told him it was a "prank gone wrong". I don't really know what to think of it.
Just another distraction to get the jury thinking about anything but the relatively innocuous WaPo article and to get the public to ridicule and hate AH.
Something I would say about hearsay, is AH seems skilled at saying things through others. I feel like that's one of her go-to tactics. Like w Morgan Knight I think was his name. Along w a number of other times where Amber seemed to have been caught lying about what others said. Prolific liars learn the value of claiming others said something. She did it non-stop in UK trial and got away w it bc she was a witness. I can see how it seems like info that one would want to know, but w AH involved, just imo, it's best to leave hearsay out for everyone, even though I might be inclined to believe some of it from some others, in the interest of fairness. Plus there are good reasons imo. People tend to believe hearsay more than they should, and it isn't really evidence of anything. I'm personally a fan of US court usually not allowing hearsay, but just imo.
Oh no no no. That uk trial was extremely unfair and bias. You can read the court transcript Johnny presented the same evidence as in this trial (even more so actually) and the judge threw all of it out ! Even evidence from experts - IT experts, psychologists etc Because of ‘here say’ basically wasn’t taking anyone else’s word except their own However- that judge did allow Amber to say (and start the rumour) that Johnny pushed Kate moss down the stairs - that’s obviously heresay - then wouldn’t allow Kate to take the stand in defence But also - like in US - because Amber Brought up another party it would allow johhny to bring in other people to the case - like in the US how they cheered - But didn’t. This judge also literally said on each occasion that he found probable - that Johnny was on drugs and alcohol and his mum just died so he must have been violent 😅 Also In that judge closing statements he said that men cannot be victims on DV So basically it’s good this trial was televised and in front of a jury cause the UK trial was bias and a disgrace - even by UK standards
Dr. Kirk, please keep talking about the random “grumpies” that come up. I think words and word choice are most definitely connected to states of mind. It’s both useful an entertaining 😊
She WANTED him to hit her, just once is all she needed, so she could report it with actual 'documented' evidence. Then she had him where she wanted him. It would ruin his reputation & she could take his money without being called a Gold Digger. It would buy her a wealthy lifestyle, pity, attention, friends, movie roles (without the talent needed to earn them), respect (in a warped way). His side of the story would never be believed, even if he could tell it. This is probably why she even got with him in the first place (hidden agenda) & never left because there could be a "next time, he'll hit me and it'll be worth the wait". In the meantime, she could live a lavish lifestyle on his dime. But, it never happened. He vented in texts to friends, slamming cupboards, diving into his music & art, leaving the scene, and unfortunately drugs (that only hurt himself), to avoid abusing her physically. The more he did this, the more desperate she got. True narcissist. This tells me he probably never touched her. No matter how verbally or physical she got towards him, he didn't respond physically towards her (except in self-defense). So many fights. Not normal. It's a shame he didn't leave her long before, when she hit him the first time. He couldn't FIX her. She can't be fixed. She will never think she is broken. She clings to abusing HIM because she hasn't found a replacement victim (yet) to try it again. And don't believe for one minute she follows Ayn Rand's philosophy. She couldn't be more opposite. Her 'type' is very kind of person Ayn Rand despised.
Based on the life history of Rand herself i would disagree with this. She undid the marriage of a younger colleague, then threw him under the bus, then was devastated that he reacted by cutting her off. By the end of her life she was on social programs, unable to support herself. Rand made a life of espousing self sufficiency while herself depending heavily on others for her wellbeing. Additionally, taking her philosophical ideas outside the context of the rage she felt at growing up in communism is disingenuous. She contradicted herself wherever convenient to the narrative (take a look at her definition of love, it's pretty clear she has a lot of feelings about it but isn't actually clear on her definition), because her over all goal was to repudiate forced hard altruism. In the end she couldn't nearly achieve her own philosophy because it was based in anger, not rational thought.
Lawyer here! You are on point re: information being important to show state of mind, which is why there is a hearsay exception for state of mind. The judge sustained nearly every hearsay objection, which I have never seen in my career. The Judge stuck to the definition of hearsay and did not waiver. No doubt it was frustrating for the attorneys, witnesses, and jury.
Lol. And amber said no it's the dogs but another time said it's a prank gone wrong but in the opening with the milani concealer that wasn't made... they said she had fecal phobia. Yet she also said she cleaned him up when he soiled himself. make.it.make.sense!!!! 🤯

I like your banter. :-) Sometimes I skip to relevant parts but thats only because sometimes I really really want to know your opinion on something so I’ll skip through to find it. But otherwise, you’re a breath of fresh air!
Back when I did in-home therapy my clients who were of Japanese descent and they called peeing Shishi. I totally forgot about that till you said something haha.
My brother’s puppy is still being potty trained. While visiting his house, I walked in on the pup pooping on the guest bed. I had to immediately txt my brother and say “Your dog Amber Hearded me.”
1st of all, teacup Yorkies would not be able to reach the bed. 2nd, dogs are clean and do not defecate where they sleep (though theirs might not sleep in their bed). 3rd, in all the cases of domestic violence that I've ever seen (I used to volunteer at a shelter for battered women), there are always plenty of pictures documenting the bruises, broken bones, results of the physical abuse. As we've seen, AH hasn't ever produced any medical documentation of any bruises, broken nose, etc. Btw, they DID show the court the pic of the feces on the bed.
When my nieces need to pass bowel movements they do often get irritable. I've also noticed something similar with elderly people. It may have something to do with constipation discomfort
In Colombia ppl say "dar del cuerpo" which translates to "give from the body" 🤣🤣🤣 I'm not Colombian, but I married one, and it's always funny for me to hear!!!!
I don't remember if they show it during the trial but the photo of the "grumpy" is available online. It's pretty clear from the photo and by how many people interpreted it as human (maid, house manager, JD, etc) that it was human. It wasn't presented in the trial but I believe there is also a recording or texts of Amber admitting she or one of her friends did it "as a joke".
There’s a psychiatrist here on UA-cam, Armchair Psychiatrist, who stated that a 💩 in the bed is an antisocial behavior and has no relationship to borderline behavior. Do you have any comment on that Dr H? Edit- ahh interesting, you kind of addressed it at the end. As I understand it, antisocial isn’t necessarily the exact same thing as psychopathy. But yeah, the behavior Johnny describes does seem to have a certain psychopathic quality to it
I thought it's been said that it is alps a sign of mental health issue for those who actually relieve them selves on beds floors or some even write with it, or try to use it as funny. I thought I'm not 100 percent sure, but I do think I have heard it mentioned on a criminal show a, profiler, and psychologist said that it is a very clear indication of something in the brain not working or a misfire somewhere that indicates mental health issues that may be underlying.
I didn't grow up saying "stinky" but I'd heard it alot growing up from others. My daughter calls it stinky or stink-stink and she got that from her dad. It's pretty common. But the "grumpy" speech though... Dr Honda! You are HILARIOUS!!!
Count me in as a member of the thumbs up half. In our family we referred to it as "making wee wee." What I find interesting is that it rhymes with the other nicknames. I.e. wee wee, shee shee,.pee pee, etc. Is that the universal noise humans make when they urinate? Deep thoughts, man!
I think “shi shi” is an Asian thing, because I grew up in a bangali household (parents came from Bangladesh), and “shi shi” and “shi shu” were common terms when we were kids needing to pee. I think it may come from the parent/kid making a continuous “sh” sound to will the pee steam to commence. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Just to clarify, if you do watch all the testimony, Rocky Pennington & Josh Drew both lived (rent free) in one of these penthouses. One of the penthouses that Amber Heard demanded Johnny give her (she demanded all three) as well as several other things, in her extortion letter & if she did not get them, she said she would go ahead with the TRO. Rocky & Drew had a fairly good reason to help AH bolster her claims.

Typical Amber, get mad at the maid.

So disrespectful, nasty, & cruel.
Also pretty shitty (pun intended) that Amber would leave that on the bed for the maid to clean up, as if she already didn't have enough shit (pun intended) to deal with in her workplace.
@@underthegardenwall Don’t forget what Dr. Curry said about how these code types often deal with those whom they view as “inferior” to them…! 🤔🫢😬

I agree! So hilarious. Thanks Dr. Kirk, you absolutely rock.
The grumpy word, he could have used any word, but he was trying to point out the "nature" of the action
Regarding the incident and his answer to IO, according to his disregarding attitude and indifference for things, IDK, but it seems he didn't bother about the "matter", but to the IO-AH relationship on the "matter", and they trying to lie about it or giving it a credit or importance he wasn't actually giving.
LOL
Oh! And the "get your mind out of the gutter" LOL

That's not true her friends corroborated what they saw. Most of the attacks Johnny and Amber were alone.
he's authentic, she isn't. that's why he won the case against all odds.

That’s a good point , didn’t even think of that.
Yes! But then I think about a person who would lie to be a freeloader and ruin someone’s life. Of course they weren’t logical - just selfish and self-indulgent, driven by emotion.
I think Rocky lied too for sure. Her video deposition was not convincing. She seemed really uncomfortable and evasive throughout
Even the jury didn't find that they lied.
I agree about the language similarities being interesting. Linguistics can be so interesting! :)
So horrendously manipulative….
God I loved that stinky vs grumpy dialogue, it’s endearing to see the dedication in that analysis lmaoo

Jd was working on the set in Australia it was AH who snuck the dogs on the plain she was the only one one the plain. She failed to fill out forms of vaccines on time witch is a big deal for environmental/ an animals safety. Just as a fisherman has to clean boat off from one lake to another. So it was AH who committed the felony an tried to get her workers to lie for her saying they did it:/
She got away so much in so much of her life so far and she thought she is WAY above anything
Well said
And now she has a new dog, named after the deputy prime minister of Australia who opened the perjury investigation against her.
The urban dictionary says “grumpy” is slang for “the act of defocating” (misspelling in the original). As in, “I just took a grumpy in the can.”
It includes statements made by the person even if they didn't die but thought they would
Yes, you're very right. I like this judge but her definition of hearsay is very expansive (too expansive).
Meyers was not really agile in countering objections. In that particular case .... "may we approach--sidebar--yr honor it's not for the proof of the matter" but then you need to know why it's offered and state succinctly (state of mind, present sense impression or other things as noted by others).
Dear Dr. Kirk, I'm about to horrify you by informing you that you have been talking about poop for around 5 minutes (8:07 - 12:47)
In other words, 1/5 of this video was about poop 😂😂😂
I am so looking forward to your reaction on Ambers cross examination! the house of lies just starts to fall apart there and it's incredibly satisfying.
I was walking with my nephew late at night one time when he was about 6 and I said we better watch out for psychopaths and he was quite for a while looking at the road and then asks "are we on a physco path right now?" 😂

That's so adorable 😂
🙌💯💐
Would have been interesting to see the metadata on the spilled wine picture in particular - as that can be verified by time against the bodycam footage (ie; taken after the police had left)
In any case, for all of her major abuse stories there appears to be either audio or some other completely objective piece of evidence to refute her testimony. And she's still banging on now, she needs help.
@@fionarangel9486 I feel so sorry for the court stenographer that Amber Heard and her friends are harassing and bullying now. What is the metaphor behind it? Such a therapist.
YES. So much yes. It doesn’t make sense otherwise therefore his commentary is wasted.
10 minutes of debating what to call 💩 is hilarious! Thank you for that!

She tried to blame this large #2 on the teacup Yorkies.

In the military, “chow” is slang for food. Considering the quality of the food, that’s oddly appropriate.
Lol wtf 😂

I'll share my family shame. We always called it "making bones" which is so weird! I think my brother or I made the connection with the dogs poop looking like bones when it dried out. Ugh! The whole thing is such a weird thing. Thanks for sharing.
This is interesting, because we uses to use the phrase "Make no bones about it," when meaning "I am being serious."
That meaning seems more sinister now

Yes!!! Especially after he kept saying in previous videos that he believed some of Heard's most horrific claims against Depp.
I'm really hoping he's on the journey many of us took who entered the trial believing Depp was guilty, then--because of the evidence--exited it believing he was the victim.
@@mariaa.7327 Yeah, we should bring back public executions for the "evil" people. The Internet can vote on who they are. /s
(sorry if this is a bit rambling, it's early for me)

"SHI-SHI is what we all say in Hawaii. It may have come from imported plantation workers around the turn of the 20th century. Shi-shi is the most common used word for #1 here. "Kukai" (probably Polynesian word,) is for #2.
"Did they put a banana for scale next to it or a quarter for scale..."
I was in the middle of clay sculpting when I suddenly paused at this visualization popping into my mind 😂
Honestly that was a dumb question on his part. It was a picture of his bed with that on top of it. If you were sent a picture of your bed, one would think you’d know the scale.
@@drako8343 I think he was processing it. Seriously, even if he saw worst, it's still weird.
Wow. That's incredible. Thanks for sharing. What insight 👏
"it's probably gonna backfire - excuse the pun" I'M DEEAAADDD 🤣💀 that was unexpected but hilarious!
Did you already cover the recorded phone call with AH wildly laughing/mocking JD? I'd love to get your take on that.
This is a message to the doctor and everyone here, I love you all 🤟🏻
Thank you for not be a view count chaser and keep doing the video, you will this is going to be a long tail and in the long run there will be more people come here to watch and learn. This is what your video is about a good teaching tool and a good after party 🎉😊
"Good after party", lol. Perfectly put, on par with Grumpy ;)
Enjoyed your vid Dr. ! This one went to quickly it seems. Enjoyed it too much! Can’t wait for the next one!!!
"Excuse the pun" jajaja
You're the best Dr. Honda!!
She did not call the lawyers while the police were there.
Jd: “it was human fecal matter”
doc: “Interesting” *one eyebrow goes up
😄
xixi or pipi is said regularly for number 1 in Portugal, cócó is for number 2. and it is very interesting when you go into the sidelines. also i feel grumpy when i can't or hurts while doing it, the pain expression from both points of view can be called grumpy and also i think that might be the word he associates to his mother when she had to take care of him since his earlier age.
I am grateful that I found this channel. And the smiles right now about your grumpy vs stinky dissertation!🎉
You can read the court transcript
Johnny presented the same evidence as in this trial (even more so actually) and the judge threw all of it out ! Even evidence from experts - IT experts, psychologists etc
Because of ‘here say’ basically wasn’t taking anyone else’s word except their own
However- that judge did allow Amber to say (and start the rumour) that Johnny pushed Kate moss down the stairs - that’s obviously heresay - then wouldn’t allow Kate to take the stand in defence
But also - like in US - because Amber Brought up another party it would allow johhny to bring in other people to the case - like in the US how they cheered -
But didn’t.
This judge also literally said on each occasion that he found probable - that Johnny was on drugs and alcohol and his mum just died so he must have been violent 😅
Also In that judge closing statements he said that men cannot be victims on DV
So basically it’s good this trial was televised and in front of a jury cause the UK trial was bias and a disgrace - even by UK standards
What was Rynd’s philosophy that you speak of?
@@PrincessOverDoesIt Google her to find novels written. Read or listen. Movies not good.
We used grumpy... because normally your belly is grumpy before you have to go.
The title of this one…..lmao
Omg hearing you try to determine why that was the word he used made my day hahahha
Lol. And amber said no it's the dogs but another time said it's a prank gone wrong but in the opening with the milani concealer that wasn't made... they said she had fecal phobia. Yet she also said she cleaned him up when he soiled himself. make.it.make.sense!!!! 🤯
LOL! I'm from Pakistan and we called it "Chi-Chi" as kids.
Its funny how common this type of expression is for making a "stinky"!
Thanks doc for that funny diversion!
The grumpy vs stinky discussion made our evening. Thank you Dr. Honda 😂
My family always said "I gotta go take a shit". LoL. Take a shit. Where? Where you gonna take it? I wonder who came up with that.
When my nieces need to pass bowel movements they do often get irritable. I've also noticed something similar with elderly people. It may have something to do with constipation discomfort
Yes! When my son was a baby it would spoil the whole day waiting for the explosion 💩
Dr. Honda, you can see the grumpy for yourself. It's all over the internet.
Lol 🤣😂🤣 the Grumpy tangent is gold.
In Colombia ppl say "dar del cuerpo" which translates to "give from the body" 🤣🤣🤣
I'm not Colombian, but I married one, and it's always funny for me to hear!!!!
One of the UA-cam lawyers has a mug in her merch store with Grumpy on it now!
I know this is a serious issue, but “it could backfire-excuse the pun” is the funniest thing Dr. H has ever said.
I screamed! It was literally perfect
Dr H’s sense of humor brings so much joy to my days!
@Laura Buchanan She’s called the Armchair Psychiatrist, very interesting analysis
You should listen to the recording when she is talking about how it wasn't her fault but her lawyers. Looks like you skipped it
I didn't grow up saying "stinky" but I'd heard it alot growing up from others. My daughter calls it stinky or stink-stink and she got that from her dad. It's pretty common.
But the "grumpy" speech though... Dr Honda! You are HILARIOUS!!!
A friend's family used the terms "tinkles' and 'jobbies". Grumpy or stinky makes more sense to me, haha.
The lawyer of JD was in court too you learn a lot about what she wanted.
The grumpy dialog was amazing LOL
I hope it goes viral
haha the breakdown of the word Grumpy by Dr. Honda was life. 😂
I found this the most incredible part of his testimony. I just cannot imagine people doing such a thing.
