Well given the scale and if we're talking about painting in details, then to a certain extent, that does ring true. It really boils down to the complexity of the kit's detailing and part separation (older MGs are about equal with current HGs IMO).

wish they did the same with the G04 and G05 with the shields, and they should've made them matte instead of glossy like that... at least zaku here applies the other stickers very well so they didnt look too bad
Hey ZakuAurelius is Gunpla production really hit the all time low? I'm worrying that future models will not be released. Do you have any kind of "reliable" news related to that?
Except for models that are shown at expos/hobby shows that don't get released(even then that doesn't stop it from resurfacing years later), if Bandai announces it in planning stage then it should be released.
God dammit I didn't expect the huge amount of stickers this kit has, but luckily I modify it into Pale Rider Dullahan, and DII. Tbh I give this kit 8/10 rating, there are some parts like the front skirt, and the shield parts that should've been molded according to the corresponding color.

if i REALLY had to guess, stickers on top of stickers probably havent been workin' out too well, so the color correcting shield stickers were, in a massive bandai big brain move, made out of heavy glossy plastic-y stickers, so the SR and 02 stickers could stick over them better, n account of the SR logo being pretty important for p-bandai SR units
I think they use plastic-like stickers on the shields because the original stickers are very easy to crack. Both my shield stickers cracked when combined
The HG Thunderbolt Gundam Ground Type S has a much more impressive beam javelin effect part IMO. Literally the main reason I even got that kit was because of how cool it looked in the anime
This is a perfect example of why “premium” bandai is a nothing more than a big joke. Nothing about this is “premium” and just shows how little they care about some of these model kits.
“Premium” Bandai does not mean premium quality as we understand it in English, it’s a confusing use of the English word. It really just means exclusive
@@ZakuAurelius I just don't get it, why did they make their "premium" items with less attention to details like better color separation, stickers thing, etc. If only they didn't forget those little details probably their product will get a lot of consumer and increasing their income.
For a premium kit they're actually lacking the "premium" aspect on the manual guide, like was it so hard for them to give it a nice cover for the manual like the previous p-bandai kit years ago?
@@alastairroche9922 then they shouldn't use the word 'premium' on it, use the 'limited' one instead, those words contains far different meaning to one another, especially in a product distribution sale

I agree. I would pay more for color parts for the two modes. This is just a symptom of Bandai reusing molds from the first Pale Rider kit.
I don't care about it having bazillion stickers
Just make P-Bandai available for europe, Bandai, for f* sake ToT
