I have both, and I absolutely love both of them! I have zero regrets getting the stripped version, it is different and complements the first.
The original Too Faced natural nudes was my wedding palette last year! 🥰and I love it, so I was curious to see how this compares, it's lovely but I think I prefer the original and I have bare necessities too 💕
I love your videos and personality! I agree 100% with your review. I was sooo excited for this palette but the fragrance is SO INTENSE!! I'm struggling to enjoy it just for that reason. Mattes proform great and shimmers are good but my Nat. Nudes is still better, especially when it comes to the shimmer shades.
I did wait till Toofaced had their 30% off sale to snag this but still would have preferred to spend that money elsewhere now. After seeing your comparison with Bare Ness. By colour pop, I want to declutter this and snag that instead. 🤷🏼♀️

The Sunset Stripped palette feels incredibly redundant. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, but if the side by side swatches weren't labelled I would just assume the same eyeshadows had been applied with different tools.

I ALMOST bought this palette but decided to wait and while it is beautiful, I am glad I waited bc I picked up the new Morphe Gilded Bronze collection to review instead. (Side note- that's is a great collection). Love the look Amanda! And thank you for all your hard work 🥰
Ended up buying this after a long time of observing….Love, love this palette!!! From the scent to the fact that it’s neutral, 10/10 for me!!!

For me this palette *does* stand out. I wasn’t going to get it originally because I have the natural nudes, but when I swatched it in Ulta I realized that the shimmers are quite unique. 🤩

I have both and I love them!
It felt repetitive to me too. Especially when I can get a Colourpop palette for less $ with similar color stories/vibes. I want to try Too Faced eye shadows but so far not of them have grabbed my attention. The Too Femme palette did but did not get rave reviews so I skipped it considering the price. If I was a total newbie with no makeup or just getting into pricier makeup I don’t think this would be my first purchase.

These just aren’t my tones but I did just buy the Naked 3. I should have bought that years ago!!! It is for me! I saw your Naked palettes you posted on Instagram. I really wish had gotten the Naked palette. I like the mix of warm and cool tones.

Circling back 6 months later... these are now 50% off. Which one would you recommend: the Natural Nudes or the Sunset Stripped?
I snagged natural nudes and it's gorgeous. The other one seemed too warm for me. I'm light skinned with neutral- cool undertones

I have both, I like using them together. I think they’re both worth the price. If you open the SS palette to the air the scent will weaken a bit. The SS has the burgundy and black that the NN doesn’t have.
I wasn't going to purchase this palette because I do have the CP Bare Necessities palette and I figured that these shades or something similar would be there...but...I got a $15 coupon at Ulta so for $37 I couldn't not get it. And surprisingly enough, I'm really enjoying the looks that I've been getting from it. Just as a side note, I haven't seen anyone mention that the co founders of Too Faced are leaving the company as of June 30th.

This is interesting ! I always thought I liked the sunset stripped better than the original natural nudes but after seeing this video I think I’ve changed my mind 😅 ALSO I have bare necessities so I never realized the similarities ! Definitely don’t need both !
I am very interested in this palette!!! I am somewhat new to eyeshadow and need a good neutral palette! I’ve heard that the shimmers are buttery and slightly improved from the original one!

I too had to open the Sunset Stripped to get some of the scent to dissipate. It smells kind of like Coppertone
To me the Sunset Stripped palette is a bit darker than the Natural Nudes, both look very similar to each other. Thanks for the tutorial, nice eye look. Too bad the fragrance is so overwhelming.
I love the natural nudes palette so I was excited to get the sunset stripped palette because I love too faced’s scented makeup! But, the scent on sunset stripped is awful! It’s kind of pretty flowery, but under the pretty flowery scent it’s like it has a sour rancid scent to it too. It’s strong and not pleasant. Reminds me of the physicians formula matte manoi (spelling?) bronzers. Not a fan of that smell. Loved your review. I agree with you 100%. It’s a good palette but nothing special, and not different enough from natural nudes.
I am so mad they discontinued their best foundation imo (Peach Perfect). That whole line not only smelled lovely but the products were some of my favorites! Right after they expanded the shade range they discontinued it. I wish they would keep the good products and expand the creativity a bit bc I really like them generally. TF, Nars, and CT are 3 I wish would get out of their same circle of products

I don't think this palette looks as exciting as the original palette, but would make a good staple palette for any makeup collection.
I've not smelt the palette myself and so wondered if perfume had been spilt on your palette before shipping but if you can smell it still on the swatches on your arm then I doubt that theory.

Yeah, mine isn’t either. It kinda smells like a faint sunscreen/ beach fragrance.
Is this not for the people who have pollen allergies since the palette is floral scented???

I miss Too Faceds old packaging style. For the price they charge, their packaging isn't even cute anymore. I can get Colourpop shadows in the same colors, for less money and similar cardboard packaging. Also I can't stand fragrance in where it doesn't need to be. So this one is a hard pass for me.

I didn’t pick this one up. I really enjoy the Natural Nudes. I do think this one brings more depth, but it’s not something I really need to buy it for. Other than that I didn’t see any reason to pick it up. I think I enjoy the tones in the Natural Nudes better too!
I love the natural nudes palette. Normally I would be drawn in by a similar palette but I feel this is too similar.
i reallllly wanted this palette UNTIL i found out how fragranced it is and i’m incredibly sensitive to that, so that right there made it a definite no for me.
I was a little worried that this might not be a wise purchase, especially with Bare Necessities right on the bathroom counter. I wish companies would cool it with the fragrance. There are many people who can’t tolerate it, especially near the eyes.

I hate fragrance in makeup! I rarely wear neutrals but I feel like you don’t need this many shades. I much prefer Colourpop’s 9-pan palettes like the Mandalorian or Of Quartz.
I love the Natural Nudes palette and was very interested in buying this palette. But hearing that this is incredibly scented turned me off! 🥴
I have the palette and I like the scent. It smells a bit like sunscreen to me.It was strong when I first got the palette, but not as much now.

Why on earth does it smell like perfume? 🤨 If it’s gonna be called Sunset Stripped, wouldn’t it be better if it smelled like coconut or citrus or something sunshiny? That’s so weird
Right?! Totally agree. I loved their Peach Perfect line! That smelled so good and the whole scent/packaging made sense

I don’t mind fragrance but not one that lingers specially if it compites with my perfume so I wouldn’t buy this even if I needed a neutral palette
Bare Necessities is too similar to make the TF palette worth it, IMO.

I thought that but I have both are in person they’re really different and one is far warmer and intense than the other: the shades aren’t similar even.

Unpopular opinion but I don’t get the hype with any too faced except maybe the mascara
There’s a reason it’s an unpopular opinion lol they tend to have good products if you know what you are on about. They have a good opaque shadow without needing a primer and they have very intense shimmers. They’re not a wash of sparkle like most. They do have good products but they do put out too much too. Foundation is good but the first foundation had funky yellow undertones so it was hit or miss but eyeshadows are great- NOT the seasonal ones though. The regular. The mascara and lip items and skincare are good. Foundation is pass for me.

I think these are both very different on the eye. The natural nudes is not like this one it’s neutral though warm- it leans a good middle. Sunset is way more warm and if you are deeper skin tone you’ll love SS.
