In this video, I have shared the top three skills that a fresh mechanical engineering graduate should have: Metrology CAD, CAM & CAE software knowledge GD&T
Can you find out solution about doing projects. In my college everyone says you get selected on basis of projects. But student don't get stage to learn and solve project problems.
Actually, there are a few courses that we have made available on our website some are even free where students get to make projects that are quite close to real world scenarios. You can try those courses. We are also planning o add several more projects in our library soon.
Late, but Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. There’s some general pitfalls with general tolerancing, and GD&T is a system that’s constantly being updated that tries and does pretty well to eliminate those pitfalls
Thanks for asking Solomon, I did a Diploma in mechanical engineering and as you might concur engineering syllabus focuses primarily on engineering stuff like materials, thermodynamics etc. The CAD software is an optional class usually which is not taken very seriously even by students. We did learn GD&T in the second year but again for all of this practical exposure is needed and that's where I learned it properly as per current industry trends in Indo Danish Tool Room, here in India after my regular college was over.
What if you are not fresh what if you took 8 years to paas that god forbidden graduation but still finally paased it and now nobody wants to see your face neither family nor company
There is always a better option somewhere you just have to look. Getting graduation is just a stepping stone and not a big deal. There are big tech companies that don't even look at graduation as a qualification all they want is skill. If you have it they will hire you. Freelancing is one such place where graduation does not matter your skills do. And don't just think about CAD, CAM, and CAE skills you can move into character design using Blender. rendering, animation, and quite a lot more which has a "similar" appeal as CAD software.
Every mechanical engineer school has modernized to incorporate CAD into the course curriculum, so when you graduate from an accredited mechanical engineering school your degree is your proof that you are familiar with CAD. If you are not a mechanical engineer graduate and are a self taught CAD operator, the best you can hope for is to land a job as a drafter, but even those jobs usually require a certificate because of the complexity of mechanical drawings.
@@rickcollins8893 what if I graduated with mechanical engineering degree and completed my cad software from outside will it will affect my job or not ?
Mera brother just Diploma Kiya hai mechanical engineering me, aur ab unka age hai 19years. 1½ years se kaam kar re hai as a service engineer in atlas copco His package is 4.4 LPA 28k in hand and allowances acha sa milta hai. I am just telling this to give you hope and want to tell you that there is a scope for good salary in industry. And i know a girl who is also a Diploma in mech, her package is 8LPA
Mechanical branch bharat ka sabse ghatiya branch hai designing sector Mai job in everycompany selected hi rehti hai only 5 member want in this sector in any company
1) Metrology
2) CAD, CAM, and software
3) GD & T
Microsoft Excel is very important for any graduates
Correct
Bill of fuqing materials
This sounds more like the beginnings of Mechatronics
Which AutoCAD playlist for Mechanical engineering?
We agree with what you said. Student interns working with us are using these skills
Thanks it really helping me out
Thank you sir🥰❤️
Please make vedio on detail drawing learning
Of boilers .
please same video for electrical engineer ☺️☺️
Please make a video on instrumentation engineers
Thank you for the tips
Please I have a question 🙏
Sir please tell us about NISST- ANDT entrance exam for job-oriented courses.
Sir.. i can't learn the cad what is the basic topics to pro cader
Sir how to get jobs if u have these skills
suggest some of courses you mentioned from coursera or any other website
is automation is a good carrier?
Which will give more opportunities auto cad ,catia or solidworks?

How did you first graduate without learning CAD and GD&T?? 😂😂

on having skill on CAD.. is it required to have a certificate that you actually studied it on school or is it ok to have self study??

Is there any ME COURSES RELATED TO METROLOGY
There is one subject in 3 year forgot the name
4th year measurements and metrology
Actually GD&T is a part of metrology
One thing i respect more than hard laboring people, hard learning people like myself and parents: are indians who speak english fluently
