dessouky has the game of a top 5 player and a mentality worse than a top 200 player
Dessouky needs to get willstrop to fix his movement and mentality. Willstrop managed to do it for asal.
I quite don’t like this un sportsmanship if a player is on the floor, no matter you made the fault or not, just give hand… any sport
Agreed. I understand Lobban probably meant no harm. I understand it's possible Dessouky exaggerated the impact. But from the way the elbow went into his back it's quite possible it hurt him, and given that chance, given the slightest chance whatsoever really, Lobban's sneering refusal to apologize was unbecoming. Just help your opponent up and play on.
Don't like Lobban's attitude at all, almost Egyptian-wise...😊
At each other's throats. Never going to be Dessouky's game once it gets heated like that. One of the best players to watch, but not one of the coolest heads.
Lobban's elbow to Dessouky's back was dirty and he should have received a warning. Dessouky overplayed the reaction.
That was actually quite a nasty blow to the lower back and it took time with him to register the effect because such a blow has an effect to temporarily numb one
It didn't look like it was deliberate
@@fm1326100% agree ... the few people chuckling in the crowd were total jags
That was basically Lobban's way to say, you may be getting away with the subtle, dirty, bs movements in the eyes of the referee, but let me show you what I think of it.
@@fm1326 Really? He walked into him. Dessouky totally milked it.
A nightmare experience for the referee. I was thoroughly entertained though.
Maybe a first, may be I should see the whole match, but I think it was Lobban who's mostly wrong. The elbow at Dessouky's back, the unapologetic behaviour, the ref, the crowd even the commentators allowed it, which really justifies Dessouky's over reaction.
All calls from Lobban made before the incident were no let's by far, Dessouky's played through many fishy balls. Sorry on Dessouky's side this time.
Why is Lobban constantly provocating by putting up his fists and looking at Dessouky while screaming after a point. I understand you want to release or celebrate after a deserved point, but don't throw it in your opponenent's face...
Superb acting by Dessouky, one of my favourite players
Watched this match in full, the ref and overall decisions were horrific, not helped by BOTH dessouky and lobban looking for stuff. Lobban acted like he didnt want the ref involved but i felt he looked for Dessouky a lot to get cheap lets on forehand side where Dessouky was dominating. Crowd saw this too and its why they got behind dessouky i think. Overall decisions were bad for both players where in the end neither probably got a significant advantage from. Lobban deserved win for mental strength, but didnt like how he tried to manipulate the refereeing because of Dessouky reputation or the match from the day before etc. Dessouky was also getting the ref involved far too much as well tho so just comes down to a coinflip 5th game which is classic pro squash in a close match.
Greg with the (sarcastic looking) double thumbs up to Dessouky at the very end.
Very curious what was said.
god the amount of times Ive seen Dessouky get "injured" like that and then be absolutely fine 5 minutes later. bro GET UP, its not football. Blocking as well as if diving wasnt bad enough.
Not sure it wasn't a dirty play (back?) from Lobban... but come on Fares, you have such a big potential, use it and stop behaving like a frustrated child ! And you really need to improve your shot selection...
Anyway that was the best I have seen from Lobban, well played
Sigh. I thought Dessouky had sorted this issues out. He needs to keep his focus and stop acting with a sense of entitlement on the court. Its a pro game, both of you want to win, stop acting like its game with your pal at the local leisure centre and get on with it.
Dessouky is turning into Asal
As smooth as a loan, excellent improvement from the Scot
Loban😅
Dessouky is such an unlikeable player.
Well played Lobban, held his cool in a close hard fought match...mentally tough. Brilliant result!!!!
Massive off day for Dessouky to loose to him.
Love to see it
Dessouky is a dirty player
