I put a jar of peanut butter in the microwave once because it was very stiff, (I couldn't stir it yet and didn't want to wait for hot water to warm it as I would normally in a situation like this). There was ONE section maybe a quarter of an inch that still had some of the wrapper on the rim of the jar and WHAM! Sparks everywhere. It looked like the fourth of July.

You should microwave flex glue after applying it to surfaces to see if it speeds up the cure time and if it makes the strength any different
the reason they spark is due to the microwaves being reflected back into the emitter, it causes that arcing that you see. When all of the dvd's were stacked up non of them could really get the angle needed to reflect back into the emitter. it's the same reason that the tinfoil didnt spark after a few seconds, anything that would have hit the emitter was burned out, so eventually nothing was happening. Either way great video!

I literally play your videos while I’m going to sleep and when I heard the microwave sounds and static or whatever sounds I got scared as hell.
Interesting things to microwave: grapes, ping pong balls, bar of soap, shaving cream, fireworks, butane lighter, canned air, jawbreakers/hard candy with soft center (be careful), graphite, wood filler, wet cement, 2000 flushes toilet tablets, thermite
The tube has a metal foil in it. The actual glop itself is mostly silicone I think but definitely some different and volatile solvents that evaporate off as it cures. Silicone is microwave safe once cured. Not so sure about before though.
The reason the 100 discs didn't work was because the electricity was dispersed between them all equally. Meaning, no effect.
Also T-Series, shall always lose.

The big pile of CD's didnt go because they were stuck (they wouldnt turn on the carousel). The microwave has the carousel for a reason, so the food cooks evenly. They have weak and strong areas of microwave energy inside. Try stacking them 3 in the bottom, then 3 overlapping the bottom 3 (not completely on top) and so on and see if it works. Can't guarantee it, but you still have the microwave (the samsung battery didn't blow it up) :)
You got to have the aluminium laying flat in order to have this work. I can’t remember the physics behind it but I remember learning about it once upon a time

I have some other things you should microwave, put green grapes in the microwave with a glass cup upside down on top. And light a match and stick it in some putty and put a glass cup upside down over it... I won’t spoil it for you

The sparks are caused by metal, so I’m guessing the flex tube has metal or something in the end? Figured out how to make my microwave spark the hard way. Lol. If you put the forks in the microwave and let them hit the side it’ll make a spark.

if you want those cds back just put toothpast on it should do the trick
try raw carbon fiber for the best light show as microwave functions for it's last time. every loose piece in the air arcs and when they do they break and then more arcing do to more little bits that are now nearly impossible to get all of them removed they multiply

What about revisiting the CDs in the microwave. But, this time lay on flat, shiny side up. Then, use some sort of putty to stand up 2 other CDs shiny sides facing each other, very close together.
