The part with working on imposter syndrome and perfectionism and trusting the process was especially great! Loved Urvashi ( a special shoutout for people with indian/ asian roots going places 🙌) love Ro 💕
Wow!!!! This is the best video talking psychiatry and psychology I’ve ever seen! Thank you so much for posting this and sooo helpful, both questions and answers are soooo good!!!!
Such an interesting journey. I like how you said "...it only took me two years [post B.Psyc] to get into medicine". Acceptance and gratitude in action~
This is where I'm at right now... am doing my last undergrad subject and have applied for honours at Deakin, but actually already work as a CN in a MDT alongside Clin Psychs and we are part of the same team, do the same job, get paid the same, and I'm really starting to consider Psychiatry
hi just wondering, what were urvashi’s gpa and gamsat scores to get into med with psych as an undergrad? im currently studying psych as an undergrad and looking into psychiatry 😊
I am in my first year of a bachelor of psychology and if I want to go down the path of psychiatry in the future, how do I do so? Do I study after completing my honours degree or do I go onto further study after my degree? I would love to know the difference and the pathways available in Australia :)
I would never become a psychiatrist because psychiatric medication is horrendous I can never imagine myself prescribing such throughout out my life 😭 but I guess sometimes medication is the only way for some people.
i was a psychology Major, but life happens. i am looking into becoming a psychiatrist as i struggle from depression sometimes too. the mind is a beautiful complex thing. please seek a different psychiatrist that is not horrible to you.... there are so many available help out there, its just finding the best match for you. goodluck.

Loving your channel I’m a clinical social worker in the US but I love hearing about the different mental health fields
Great video! Lots of students can get confused between the two when exploring a career in this field. Well done! - xo, Fatema ✨
