i think it's great to use midjourney as design inspiration, but i don't think you should necessarily use the layout from midjourney as i feel like that can be restrictive to your design. i'm a designer, and whenever i'm designing something (poster, website, or anything else), the content is always the first thing that i think about (not the visuals). i always create the layout and the visuals around the content, rather than trying to fit the content into a pre-determined layout/ visual style. (similarly, i think design templates are also very restrictive for this reason). I've really been enjoying watching your videos!
Thanks Andy, this was really interesting. What fascinates me is how quickly these tools have come to the fore in the last 6 months or so, even though they have been in development for many years.
I want to thank you for this content. As an old professor, I’d like to understand what is available to use. I can also be more supportive of my students and help them using modern tools
Andy, can I ask a rather stupid question? I'm not that familiar with doing research and I am not in academia. But I want to learn to do research and do it properly. Can you give me a few pointers where to start please?
You should probably just ask it to generate HTML and CSS if you're just trying to make one big poster. Then you can put it in jsfiddle and print to PDF.
Wouldn’t this be extremely dependent on the field of research you work in and what kind of data/work you’re presenting? I do agree that it can be a useful tool.
important to mention you need a midjourney subscription. love your work btw!
Paid subscription?
That was the first thing he should mention
When I tried it there was an about 20 images free trial.

How can I edit the details in the poster that midjourney created?
You copied and pasted a prompt from chatgpt into mid journey, without citing your reference to gpt? How dare you!
Can you make a video about poster design using Stable Diffusion?
In canva you can also use templates for posters
Amazing stuff, Andy. Great inspo
So useful! Thank you for the info!
I am not a designer, is there a tool that can automatically make a layout with all necessary graphics after I get it a subject text.

Watch his videos!
Hi Andy that's great job Weldon by the way guide me about the quick method or shortcut of writing an article in social science
Do you need to sign up? I can’t seem to do it.
Wonderful, sadly Midjourney doesn't offer free trial anymore, which is a no for most new researchers.
If you are still looking for image generation AI, many free alternatives like Leonardo, Meta, Gemini, are available. You should check them out.

In ChatGPT or Midjourney?
Amazing
great detailing
You didn't show where you pasted the prompt... I'm not seeing it nowhere.
i did not understand where did you paste it
prompt: "give me a solar cell illuminated by the sun"
result" a house with solar panels illuminated by the moon.
Quite funny 😂😂 but seems very useful!
