Most people thought the impeachment process was wrong. Only about 30% of the country agreed with it. Not to mention it had no impact on his approval rating. He left office more popular than even Reagan or Kennedy were. The reason he was so popular was because we had it good under his watch. 8 years of economic growth, a balanced budget, peace and prosperity, just to name a few.

It is impressive the high road Chelsea Clinton took at a time that would involve scrutiny in her parents marriage... Yet, I still feel tremendously sad for Monica at the time. She was literally the joke on every talk show, every night, for years. And what she parlayed into an anti-bullying platform, is remarkable.

Cheaters cause so much damage to the whole family! My ex started cheating on me when I was pregnant with our daughter! Really? Such total disregard for the well-being of innocent parties. He ruined our daughter’s home before she was even born. That’s a low as a man can get. The woman he cheated with knew I was pregnant. They are equally despicable. I wouldn’t care what he did, except that my daughter was caught in the middle. He could never get how his actions affected innocent parties. I think some people are missing a certain chip. When I moved to Houston to go to college, as an older student, I got involved with a married man. I think the affair lasted about 15 months. I felt as ashamed, lonely, and dirty because of what I did. I knew better because I personally witnessed infidelity within my own family. Even though this was over 20 plus yrs ago, I still feel shame for my actions and behavior. I can't justify my behavior. I'm so very sorry that I participated in it. The affair was not worth the pain I caused to his wife and not worth the pain I caused to myself.

I’ve always viewed this scenario as personal- One solely between husband and wife and should have been dealt with between husband and wife. If Hillary chose to forgive and stand by his side (like a lot of women do in regular society all over the world) that was her own business and choice. Bill wronged his wife not the public. I’m not saying that he was right to do this, but it’s none of my business in the first place. He’s not my husband. It wasn’t really the public’s business to the extent that they took it. But because Bill was President (more than celebrity status), this “scandal” was made the center of attention globally when there were more real actual important things going on in the world, especially in the US.

Not long after the news broke, I was watching an episode of The Simpsons where on a news report, Kent Brockman character talks about the ex-marital affairs of different US Presidents during their times in office, and Clinton was one of them. I was a bit taken aback as to why The Simpsons would mention “Affairs” to which my Dad told me that Monica Lewinsky wasn’t the first one he couldn’t keep his hands off or his thing in his pants. 😳 To quote my Dad at that time: “Americans love scandal and their current President is another JFK.”
I was also confused as to why news outlets in Australia would be so focused on the scandal.
Honestly didn’t even know that Hilary chose to stay with him until the announcement that she wanted to run for Democratic Nomination for Presidency which she later lost to Barrack Obama: If she had any sense in her head - she would have castrated him because he seems to be smirking at times in this video... I get the feeling he hasn’t stopped “playing away” after leaving the White House. 🤔🤨
