    I am satisfied in general, but the sound is very low. Any ideas how I can solve this? I connect it to my dj setups and it has very little sound every time.

      Are you using the L/R outputs or the lower powered headphone jack?

    Can this pad be used as a controller to control libraries in Kontakt? So if I want the one pad to trigger a C5 key on the keyboard, can this be customized?

    Hello,
    Thanks for the demo, the Nonapad looks strangely like
    The Avatar PS 705, Gear4music DD90, dbdrums Npad, ddrum nio percussion, what is really the difference and price? And why?
    What about the sensitivity of the pads compared to the DTX
    M 12 from Yamaha ?
    Thanks for your answer...

      Hey - yep they are all the same hardware but just different branding. Price defers and cheapest option will depend on where you live = shipping costs. Can't compare it to the M12 as I don't have used this in depths but depending on what you want to do with it + what your expectations are (e.g. "sensitivity") you might really want to look into the M12 as a more 'sophisticated' solution. Please check my review as this will show what to and what not to expect a little better: blog.abletondrummer.com/nonapad-review-and-manual-and-faq/

      Thank you for your reply! Your review on UA-cam is in English I do not read English. But texts are translated via Google translation.
      I've owned the M12 for a few years now, it's a good Multipad... except that there are only 2 acoustic drums, the rest of the kits are only percussion that I never use... the sensitivity of the pads is not great, you have to aim it at the center, it doesn't trigger at the periphery, the internal memory is 64mo, it's really old, more than 10 years.
      My main use is to have an autonomous battery
      at home, no scene... no triggering of samples...
      I would like to have your opinion on the sensitivity of the NonaPad
      The kits I heard in your demo I found quite realistic...
      Thanks

    Did you have any issues with cross muting and for example hitting the one pad but triggering the other one (you didn't mean to hit) as well?

      i want to know it too.

      Cross talk was mostly fixed with the latest updates of these pads. Cross muting is still a problem at least with the Npad and PD705 (the ones I have)

    Hey a silly question here, what do you think about tabletop drums and could they be used for small gigs, and if yes is it better alternative than this ?

    • @Derayes
      @Derayes Місяць тому

      The main difference is that table drumpads have built in speakers , otherwise its mosty the same thing. I have DD70 and play it and record at home. Sounds pretty cool. Therefore I think you can use it for small gigs.

      Hey - please watch this part of my review - ua-cam.com/video/8Sk_PkloKsw/v-deo.html - it has trigger inputs but it hard to say how it will work with trigger x/y/z without testing + the trigger settings are quite basic on the Nonapad...

    Does anyone know if there is a list or spreadsheet of all the drum samples? This would help a lot with picking sounds when setting up kits

    • @abletondrummer
      @abletondrummer  2 роки тому

      You might find a list in a manual of one of the other brands of this same pad but TBH - I would go for 3rd party samples and load them on there e.g. like: blog.abletondrummer.com/hybrid-drum-sounds/

    Can you play 9 different loop on all 9 pad at the same time?

    Sorry for asking here. How do I have to configure the NanoPad if I want to use it with its MIDI output using layers A and B? As it is configured from the factory it does not work. The pad allows you to assign notes to layer A and layer B different notes, but the DAW only receives the note assigned to layer A. Thanks.

    • @abletondrummer
      @abletondrummer  2 роки тому

      Depending on the DAW but generally layer/sample selection is managed via velocity and stays on the same note

    • @Anton-bn1qp
      @Anton-bn1qp 2 роки тому

      @@abletondrummer Yes and no. Yes managed via velocity. The problem is you are not able to change the midi chanel assigned to each pad. I supose they are working in the software.

    Do you have some reggaeton libraries to input them on this pad?

      Hey - I have similar stuff in the pipeline for that but too many projects currently, so not sure when this will come out. I have this sound pack which is more for POP stuff - Claps, Snaps etc. here: abletonkurse.gumroad.com/l/hybriddrumsounds1
