I lived in Germany when this song came out, I was 25 and you couldn’t go to a club without hearing this song time and again. And here it is 37 years later and this song takes me right back to Frankfurt and the bars in Sachsenhausen. Damn, that was some good times.
I just came across this song 2 months ago. Can't believe it didn't make it to the States😢 But there's just nothing like 80s rap anymore...rap back then told a story and you could understand most of the lyrics. Good rap ended with the 90s, today's rap sucks ass and all the young rappers try to sound exactly the same as each other plus autotuned. SKERRRRT....Racks on Racks on Racks.....With the exception of Migos, they're pretty cool.
"I can understand the things most rappers say because rapping is the thing and I do it every day. I'm the number one rapper, yo, my name is Sven. I can rap more raps than Superman can." Really, hip-hop hasn't changed at all over the years.
We can't, it takes a special type of corny to have that courage to show us that feelings are ok. See back then people didn't mind being good but now because good makes people feel all funny inside they've dubbed it as mega corny so people don't have the courage to be corny in public anymore. The only thing is we didn't realize how much we actually like corny until corny was gone.
@@couchman-sw6jy exactly... It made people able to switch off the thug and enjoy some togetherness sometimes. Now everyone thinks that it's cool to cuss in front of their parents...

In the Netherlands, the vast majority of the population can speak English, while it is estimated that the level of English proficiency ranges from 90% to 93% of the population of the Netherlands. Factors contributing to a high degree of English proficiency are the similarity of the two languages, the small size of the country, dependence on international trade and the use of subtitles in foreign languages on television rather than sound dubbing.
