Studying up and getting ready to do my first piece, in memory of my 13 yr old son that recently passed away unexpectedly. He always wanted to tag something and I never let him. You are SOOO right when you said, “You only live once.” I wish I would have let him do it.
Anyone who thinks graffiti is just rebel teens defacing property needs to watch this video. All jokes aside this guy is so cool, love the positive vibes man!
You’re absolutely right! People forget those rebel teens grow into rebels in their early 30’s defacing property whilst trespassing on private land! In there just phreak’n his funk all over
To be honest, i would love to have some nice graffiti if i had a building. Plus yeah, i am literally a teenaged graffiti artist. Tbh though, i wouldn't want tags on my building, just some nice graffiti with soul and something you can just appreciate and go wow.

positive vibes are cool an all but writing is a whole culture in itself. n this aint it..!!!! dude cool n he is artisticlly inclined but he deff aint no writer....
The sounds of the pea in the can, the paint spraying, even the gravel crackling under foot-- along with the visuals-- is so cathartic. Even watching someone else get up really is kinda like a form of meditation. Well done, homie! 👌
ik this is an older video but GR is dope for talking about his techniques. as a writer from small town midwest we dont really get to connect with other writers and trade skills and ideas. so to have someone talk about how they make their effects and details is super helpful! love you GR
Seriously that was the first tutorial that didn't demotivate me but did the opposite. You make the first steps look fun and easy, srsly I'll go out again in a few days
Thanks mate. I'm moving from abstract into characters, and this was really helpful. I love your relaxed approach to this aswell, when I first started painting I looked at tuturials, and some of the artists had an unintentionally condecending ''Do this, if you can't then you're simple'' attitude. It makes something which should be fun and therapeutic seem intimidating. Not you though, this was great, love from Copenhagen!
what I dislike about Instagram is that now anyone can claim he gets up but in reality all they do is paint tunnels and take flicks of it. Nothing wrong with painting tunnels in fact it's probably the safest places you can paint at. but don't be out here tryna claim you got the city on lock when all your shits in one Tunnel.
Thank you bro, just starting to get back into graffitii and this video IS IT. anyone looking for anything got to do with graffitti this video right here! thanks again bro a really great and fun tutorial
love the vid. im a artist as well of many mediums. i really enjoy watching other artists work ..i think it gives the veiwer a better aprriciation and better understanding of the work
Dude!!To me homey... your like the new version of Bob Ross. I think you got tight skills. . I'm from Texas. I wish I could work at the company. I want to do some pieces with you. You are my Bob Ross from way back. . I watched him when I was a kid. Yo have a gift . Thank you for your terrific drive and passion . Meso 361
Can you use killz in a video one time just want to hear what you gotta say about it and test it out with some caps ive used it before with a pink dot but it started spewing paint so idk i dont want to spend so much on one can and on caps to find out what works i usually use my rusto
Dude tho helped me out so damn much omg. I’m barely learning how to tag, I finally got down that style you went over in white. Now I tried that technique with yellow (sorry I’m terrible with terms) and damn I’m impressed by how easy it gets once You set your mind to it and be patient 😂 I keep watching your vids and following you along the way! Once I get better I’ll start doing throw ups! Thanks so much!! Keep an eye out for “Sushi”!!
lookin good in the hood ladies, loookin goood in the hoooood! how can anyone hate on this dude, he's totally righteous. thumbs up and a subscribe from me bro, keep it up!
You from NY brother? Your style seems so. Anyway good shit! I'm a old school cat as well so I like seeing the old school trying to teach and preach the correct ways and respect. Keep it coming
that color is detroit diesel green. a lot of companys beside rusto make it. its always come in high temp enamel cause its for painting engines. idk what the painters touch one was. probably sea foam green. idk why they call it blue.
Can someone point me in the direction of the video me keeps referencing when he says about linking the first twi letters and step by step guide to a piece.
I've been writing 14 years now and initially I wasn't a fan of the piece as I'm ..well a style snob! haha but I stuck with, spur seems like a really charismatic guy and the colours actually made me over look the initial style so massive props to him for his colour choices! *Gears DFN*
Thanks for opening my eyes/corrupting me. Used to think stuff like this was trash as far as art went. Something someone in a gang scrawls up in three seconds to claim turf lol. But hearing someone knowledgeable talk about composition and color theory applied to it paints it in a very different light. I’d never put up bombs and stuff unless it was a drawing. But I might have to do it now 🤔
I love this, one thing I am seriously wondering is all these people have these cool monikers or nick names they go by. How does one come up with their moniker or tag???

Hahaha, never thought of him like that, but now when you say it.... so true! :D
I was literally about to say this 😂 much love!
lol ikr!
I love the positive vibe you project, if every writer had a similar mentality there would be no beef’s or drama in our scene.

He says "Back at my favorite spot, a lonely warehouse in the middle of nowhere" just as a family of four walks up in the background. XD
True asf 😂😂

M Sport i dont post anyhing of mine online. posting your own graff is gay as fuk
Doctor Robotnik I agree, like do you really need a pat on the back that bad??! Do it for yourself.
Take photos for yourself, wait until others upload photos of your work.
M Sport it's a new way of getting up. The kids have spoken.
DECO EMS MOBB LA graffiti is whatever you want it to be. It's also for other people's whatever they want it to be.

I love your enthusiasm. That clepto story made me laugh.
Molotow is pronounced Molotov, as in Molotov cocktail. It's a clever bombing reference.
Skye X no it’s not everyone else says molotow
he is right molotow is a german can from belton a german company, and in germany its pronounced molotov
boi that pun was bad
This dude is woke son.
In Germany they pronounce their V’s and W’s backwards from English, for example they would say “Wolksvagen”. So yes you are correct.

The rusto color is vintage teal. They brought it back as "NEW". Don't remember if it was called the same thing back in the day
Homie made that look so fun and effortless. Came out sick
I always watch this one when I get stuck. Much love GR

am very surprised by the tone of the comments.
Lagoon blue is my favourite color. Mix it with the menthols and ocean blue and get some wicked colored pieces. My go to fill these days.
My favorites are SELDOM and Clepto. Wish we had legal spots around here
You're a great teacher thank you
Seafoam green. Painters touch ?
One of the best yellows i ever used is Montana Black I'm not sure what's the name of it but it's the one with bandit emjoi. You should try it Dan.
Josef Kún they're emoji vandal cans they don't indicate color
That’s emoji Vandals
Awesome video
Try the Montana 94 shade ''Madrid Red''. It's f...... mental!
If you had to do the same piece but had limited time, how long woukd this take ?
Shout out from Bainbridge! Love that spot.
It looks like the AP female fat cap is no longer available. Does anyone know a comparable alternative to use with rusto?
"the lonely warehouse in the middle of nowhere" as people appear to the side of the wall, that just killed me 😂
I'm just getting in to graffiti at 37. I found a local supplier for Montana 94 cans. Are they decent?

just for the record that AMUSE piece had been gone over by multiple people before SCRAM and IGLUE came thru..
assdick yea there has literally been like 100 names painted there in the last 2 months
what about extending each part of the letter bit by bit Rather than outlining it ?.
Art primo drinking game: drink every time GR says "you feel me?" Lol love these tutorials helping me learn a lot of shit I didn't know
Bravo,,,,Love the vintage vibe of this peace....Subbed
I like How he first sprays the frame and then the colors instead of first the colors and than the outline
This helped me understand how to do the 3D part near the end
goes over the cleanest throwie in the whole spot lmao love you GR
