People are so scared of Cadillacs but GMs are the easiest to work on and this proves it. GMs are great trucks for the long haul. Only thing you may have to worry about is the electronics which date fast, but these days all you need is car play. What lift do you have?

Did you need to put in service mode or anything special for rear rotors to come off that easy?

Yes there is a break in.
Nice video but just curious why you didn't show cleaning the rotors. New rotors typically come with packing lube that needs to be removed, correct?
The power stop ceramic brakes and drilled and slotted don’t come with oil slathered all over it. Install and follow the break in procedure

If it’s really deteriorated replace it, honestly it’s a cheap part you may as well in since you’ll be doing all that work

You need to remove the rust that was on the bearing mounting face for the rotors and apply anti seize grease to the face to help prevent rust jacking.

You didn't do the rear. Those are different to remove than the front rotors

Nope! So far I’ve only needed a parking brake scanner for VW and Audi never for GM
