#Juggernaut #Marvel
I agree. Dude is a total Badass. The Juggernaut stole every scene he was in in Deadpool 2.
"'Let's f*ck some sh*t up' is my legal middle name..."
“I’m going to rip you in half now”
“beat it, midget”
Colossus: HEY, PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!
Jugernaut: will do.
That movie did him pretty wrong. Better than X3 but still.... Colossus is garbage and would have been made that cock ring Jug spoke of.
He deserves his own movie! Most underrated Marvel character.
All movies he features have failed big time.
@@palmerswei1572 funny all of those movies are from fox
Palmer Swei Deadpool 2 did not fail LOL.
"I'm gonna rip you in half now."
Palmer Swei Deadpool two was a huge success what are you talking about and he’s only been feature in two films
Is absurdly op and still loses 90% of his fights. Just the life of a comic book villain.
Actually, he doesn’t lose. He won Hulk 3 times, and has won a lot of times before too. Stop whining about everything, please
@@ilirhajrullahi3234 Actually, why do you have to be an asshole about it? Stop being an asshole all the time, please.
@@ilirhajrullahi3234 Hulk is greater than Juggernaut. Writers.....
He cant win because he can't turn his head
@@bigghoww lmao I saw your comment in the notifications and thought it's a boxing vid but yeah being able to turn really helps. Head movement!!
I like that most the fights he lost is basically him getting stuck, trapped, transported or even banished to another place because not even his enemies knows how to deal with him, he's just unstoppable.
Or exploited his weakness to telepathy. Although even that doesn't work against more powerful versions of the Juggernaut.
Yea the fights are fun because its not a basic brawl, they have to be creative to win.
He was directly beaten by warior hulk what u talking about
He beat hulk multiple times effortlessly LMAO
I like how every fight with the juggernaut ends with them just removing him from the field and calling it a day because they can't actually beat him, just get him away from the fight until its over.
Spidey did it best in juggys first Spiderman appearance
Dropping juggy Into a wet concrete foundation pour
(20 feet of wet concrete)
City was cool with it too, like let just seal it up and call it a day. Move on with constructing that new skyscraper boys! 😂
@@lhollinger111 😂 right?
Hulk did
@@MarthSmash-pl9if
First encounters Juggy owned Banner, Hulk needed to go through world war hulk and planet hulk to get the powerups and return the favour
I love how he looks in Deadpool 2
He sure was a badass
Cant wait to see if they bring him back in deadpool 3 with his comic outfit
@@dru9384 agreed
Yeah they needa keep that look
He was voiced by Ryan Reynolds
So the early relationship between Juggernaut and Charles is basically like Cain and Abel. Juggernaut's name is Cain too.
* Mind Blown *
No
Incredibly accurate except for the parents
Nice Bible reference
thatsthejoke.jpg
When the Hulk says he didn't have all day, really meant the writer didn't have all day explaining that fight, The Hulk may be the strongest one there is, but nothing can stop the Juggernaut
henhowell hulk does
Thor could, comic book Thor that is.
Not at full power's of the juggernaut
hulk is way better than juggernaut period and hulk actually did stop him before did you see them both gripping each others shoulders after running at each other.
Not when juggernaut is at maximum strength of the gem and sydarac giving him his power. Hulk will loose
Never realized Juggernaut is basically just as powerful as Hulk… That’s crazy!
He's stronger than hulk
Theoretically he has unlimited strength because he has the amulet of cytorakk. And Hulk while it seems he has limitless strength he does have a limit.
@@domls1317 no Stan lee himself said world breaker hulk beats juggernaut
@@noahs.wave7230 that's world breaker Hulk. We are talking about The Incredible Hulk.
@@domls1317 oooooo alright
People don’t beat the juggernaut they just divert him to other places.
Or if they can get his helmet off, psychically
Onslaught cracking Juggernaut's helmet, actually being the only entity Juggernaut has ever been scared of, then in the rematch, Onslaught ripped the gem out of Juggernaut's chest, - both feats that are supposed to be impossible to do - and imprisoned Juggernaut inside the gem. Those were good comics.
The first one was an X-Men comic where some of the X-Men are called to a busy intersection in New Jersey (Onslaught slung him there from Vancouver) because of an unconscious Juggernaut having been found in a crater in the street. X-Men #322
I actually have that issue!
It’s amazing how “small” Juggernaut looked in the 1960s X-Men Comics. Juggernaut’s “best size” was the way he appeared in the comics from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s. Look at Cain Marko in a bar fight with Colossus in X-Men #183 (1981). Back then, Juggernaut could “pass for human” in plain clothes. Then in the late-1990s, Juggernaut became absurdly “huge”, and he no longer resembled anything that could pass for being human.
Personally I liked him when he became massive but that's just me, it suited the juggernaut name
@@ComicBookGuy420 I agree plus he looks more capable to take on hulk
@@Mr.MidKnight
right?
Based on The Edward Norton hulk vs Abomination, the Deadpool version of Juggy vs that hulk would have been a great fight
@@ComicBookGuy420 or current MCU hulk vs juggernaut
@@Mr.MidKnight
Current MCU Hulk couldn't beat a fly
However if they revert him back to the Avengers or the Thor Ragnarok version, now that would be a fight
Juggy has always been one of my favorites. Although I hate how someone so powerful can lose so much. :(
Member when Gladiator threw Juggernaut like a toy in the Xmen cartoon.
Yea gladiator was a monster for that I def remember that lol 💯
yeah because gladiator power is belief long as he thinks he can beat you there's nothing going to stop him
but his weakness is to make him think he can't beat you
In the comics that was Colossus and Firelord.
That was horrible

Juggernaut was always a badass, I liked when he a bus at Colossus then said "I wonder if he's recyclable?".
I do not think I could gratify you enough for explaining Juggernaut to people that didn't read comic books.
Juggernaut: I'm not a Mutant, my powers are magical!
Edwin Torres And none of you mutant wimps can handle them!
They fucked that up on x- men movie.... They made him as a Mutant...
charles byrnes I stopped watching X-men after I saw the juggernaut I’m like who the tell is this clown , they should’ve made him look more the juggernaut in Deadpool
@@houstonpromotion Deadpool Jugg was dope. I marked out when I seen him
Storm isn't a mutant too, she is from a ancient lineage of sorceresses and a goddess . I guess that mutant is a very linear definition in the Marvel Universe , kinda like meta human in DC
“legendary iron hood” is one of my favorite songs. its written from the perspective of juggernaut. i highly recommend giving it a listen
I remember watching Xmen the last stand , when he lost his powers I didn't understand how, since he isn't a mutant..
They made him a mutant for that movie
It sucked
jugg really needs to think about a football scholarship
Every player would end up quitting.
Usually family supports people that play, so his brother professor X would be in the stands and literally freeze the other players with his mind in order for him to get a touchdown every time.😂
What people overlook about the Skaar fight, Or are simply unaware of, is the fact that Marco was winning handily until Skaar was forced to trick him by using the old power to appear as a child. Skaar literally had to sucker punch Marco with all of his power to send him into orbit, and it still attributed to zero physical damage. I’d also be sure to mention the Eighth Day storyline, which is a feat run in of itself
Arris didn’t say his opening line. I got you though “Welcome to Variant where we love comics more than Deadpool loves Vanessa”
They finally got him right in Deadpool
5:39 Some of the greatest Spider-Man stories ever. Written by Roger Stern, if I’m not mistaken, the greatest of them all...
Stern is great, he, Lee, and Ditko did some great spudey stories between them
The Juggernaut would make an interesting movie. He fits the "anti hero" description better than most. In the right hands it would be a great movie.
He's been a straight up hero before, when he was with Excalibur, that storyline would be interesting to see on the big screen
I loved him in the CAPCOM fighters SO BIG, he takes up good portion of the screen "UNSTOPPABLE!!"
I never knew Juggernaut was a Jack Kirby creation. I thought Juggernaut first came around during the Chris Claremont/John Byrne era of the X-Men. Thanks for this informative video, Arris! :)
I've read a lot of comics, always learn something new with variant
The Jugger has to be the best damn villain. I watch this particular episode, among others, but this one is by far the best. Good character, great origin story. The stars aligned when his story was being written. All out of the greats
I would love to watch Juggernaut fight Doomsday.
Love the Juggernaut! He is my favorite X-men villain!! Thank you for this video!
One of my favorite Juggernaut plots was when Black Tom touched the gem and absorbed half of his power, dividing the power between them.
Always liked his partnership with Black Tom
Especially when Tom tried to send him after madame web😂
History of Mysterio since he’s the next villain
4drewk hes next villian in spiderman homecoming 2
That would be great mysterio!
He has finally done one.
Yet he didnt say I'M THE JUGGERNAUT B!TCH once in deadpool 2
Angel Wayne he better say it in x force or deadpool 3
J&N Gaming and More! No he isnt he is shown getting out of the pool right at the end
he said it in X men 3. at this point it's a dead ass meme
That was x men last stand
Jack Bruce yeah he better
Imagine the Thor/Juggernaut fight in the MCU. That’d be TIGHT
Corey Zittercob Fox Studios dislikes this comment!
Thor would cream him
Thor would slaughter him. It wouldn't be pretty.
it would be like gladiator one punching juggernaut
Corey Zittercob everyone in DP 2 were so lucky Juggertits didn't have his armor
Hulk has been stated to be the strongest marvel character due to his ability to never stop getting stronger
I love the jugs... The most underrated power being in marvel....
*IM THE JUGGERNAUT BIITTTCHH*
That cartoon parody will never get old its been about 12 years old now since that parody came out.
Comb yo beard
The juggernaut Spiderman appearance in the 1980s by John Romita Junior was just fantastic. Probably one of the best Spiderman stories ever.
Is that when juggy was just walking through buildings to shake spidey off?
Until spidey dropped him into a concrete foundation pour?
Omg! This dude is more powerful then I thought! It’s scary.
Juggernaut is unstoppable, blob is immovable. What would happen if Juggernaut tried tackling and moving him?
Blob is basically immovable due to his size and ability to be like water if hit or grabbed. Blob is not literally immovable. Juggernaut is literally unstoppable. Juggernaut runs through the blob as effortlessly as he runs through the air.
@@travisera1 Blob is a mutant. The Juggernaut is the mystically empowered Avatar of Cyttorak. Blob moves or becomes a smear.

10:11 if juggernaut isn't a mutant, why his powers stop working when he comes close to that class 5 mutant boy (around whom no mutant powers works) in this X men movie ?
He peers didn’t work bc the room they was in it wasn’t the boy
They probably made him a mutant for the purpose of the plot
Fox is dumb and made him a mutant smh... Juggernaut IS NOT A MUTANT!
@@Makaveli5136 right!
My point exactly...Juggernaut isn't a mutant,so how in the hell was his Magical powers subdued by a mutant who targeted only mutant abilities? I'll wait...
A great character created by Jack Kirby.
Funny how heroes usually don't defeat Juggernaut, but rather put/send him away for some time and he comes back PISSED
Juggernaut will always be one of my Favorite Villains EVER!!!!!!
Been waiting for this History of episode to come out. Now who actually wants a history of The Green Goblin episode
Renato Costa nah man. He might say the sick story with gwen stacy
I would very much appreciate that.
How has green goblin not gotten a history of episode? He's Spider-Man's arch enemy!
Renato Costa hobgoblin and demogoblin too
The juggernaut is an absolute unit!!!
8:10 He looks like one of those dudes on Sakaar in Thor: Ragnarok
The worst part of his power is how much collateral damage he would cause. It sounds like the earth shaking when he is just walking
Juggernaut needs his own movie
C'mon man! History of Blue Beetle!
Spudferd Powers yeah blue beetle !!!
But he's lame. :/
Ty Lewis Shut up. You don't know him. Read the comics
Spudferd Powers Jamie Reyes or Ted Kord?
Jamie Reyes, Ted Kord, and Dan Garrett would be the best. But really any one of them would be fine.
Was waiting for this...badly..Always wanted to know how Colossus became Unstoppable Colossus...
Razh 80 Yeah... The fact that Juggernaut looked like Juggernaut in the comics as compared to Xmen movie(which had Kitty Pride) one was a good move.
I loved that character mash-up, built further on Colossus' character in an interesting and plausible way. Too bad Marvel always has to hit the reset button on characters development
Wait... HES ISNT A MUTANT???
Reel Fitness No he's not a mutant
Reel Fitness no
Yep he is a normal man with magic powers
@Hulkbuster 91 I got the reference! Tank you!
He has mystical powers that comes from that helmet he wears👍👍
I love his redemption arc and his relationship with the Professor.
Always been one of my favorite characters. I’ve always liked the bruisers… jugg, colossus, even rhino, lol.. I know, I know
I’m a sucker for big bruiser supers too, I get flack for liking Rhino lmfao
For some reason I thought Cain had a recessive mutant gene. I think it was mentioned in one of the cartoons.
But I know the catch phrase:
"If it ain't comic, it ain't canon.
I’n the original x men animated series he states while fighting the x men that his powers are magical
Nah in the cartoon it was the same way he got them in the comic
"Do you know who I am?. I'm the Juggernaut, bitch!"
LOL Juggernaut is easily one of my favorite villains. He had the best voice in the 90's series. And it is just so funny that he is so big in X-Men vs Street Fighter that he makes Zangief look small.
Is it just me or after watching comic book things I’ll try to move objects with my mind. Thinking to myself 🤔 maybe just maybe lol
Yeah when I was 10 years old.
Juggernaut only rampages. There's an episode in the X-Men cartoon where the very beginning is JUST him tearing into the X-men facility out of nowhere for no good reason.😂
Lol give him the infinity gauntlet for 30 seconds
*JUGGERNAUT PUNCH*
This is only proof that the Juggernaut is one of the main power houses in the Marvel Universe.😎🤘🇭🇹🇭🇹🤘😎
Read his first couple of encounters with Hulk, he beat Banner like he stole something
Or his intro to Spiderman, spideys holding on tight, juggys just walking through buildings to shake spidey off
This is well deserving of a movie 🎥 🍿
Juggernaut vs The Blob = unstoppable force vs immovable object.
Colossus moved the Blob in the Days of Future Past arc. If Colossus can do it, the Juggernaut can CERTAINLY do it
Came here after watching Deadpool and Wolverine! This is the true juggernaut I know and love! He definitely deserves his own live action movie.
It’s crazy Gladiator throw him away with 1 hand
G-Dub 85 In a cartoon made for 8 yr olds on Saturday mornings. That crap wouldn’t happen in the 616 main Marvel universe comics.
Love The Hobbit shirt bro LOTR FTW
For sure my favourite xmen villain!
You forgot Juggernaut in the late 90's during the "Onslaught Saga" he was defeated twice, first time being knocked across the USA by Onslaught and the 2nd time Onslaught ripped the Gem of Cyttorak from inside his chest and then imprison Cain Marko inside the Gem, which turns out the gem was a gateway to the Cyttorak home dimension. Onslaught was the only other being that the Juggernaut was scared of.
Later on after he escaped the Cyttorak dimension he reconciled with his brother Charles Xaiver and joined the X-men.
He then joined x-calibur after House of M ... his power is slow sapped away as Cyttorak deem Cain to be unworthy (not bad/destructive enough) of the juggernaut power, ... then when World War Hulk Started, Cain made a deal with Cyttorak to give him back his power so he can fight World War Hulk.
there's just so much story to the Juggernaut ... i can't write it all here.
The Juggolossus!!
Easily one of my favorite marvel characters
Did the Juggernaut survive when Thanos snapped 👌🤔
i remember he was lifting skyscraper in 90's spider man cartoon. But he was too weak in xman and deadpool 2 movie :/
The new 2020 mini-series is seriously underrated and underappreciated! Between "Punisher Kill Krew" and this, Juggernaut is back with a vengeance! You were ahead of the game, as usual! Thanks for putting the focus on a character who is now newly revitalized!
The juggernaut is my favorite x man bad guy he just raw power & all attitude
Thanks, cool vid :} Always wondered what Jugg's backstory was!
I'm Also Thinking The Same Thing Definitely Would Be Cool If Marvel Gives Juggernaut A Solo Movie Of How He Became Juggernaut Because He Deserves It.
u forgot when Juggernaut became captain uiverse after peter parker gave it up.
I want to be a Juggernaut 😞
😂
🤦♂️
Just go find the gem of cyttorak
Then find some good quality mushrooms of cyttorack
I want to be Wolverine
Stan Lee woke up and chose to make an Overpowered Character
Juggernaut is a god-like strong guy and he is like a wrecking ball to a building to all the other characters!
So basically the X-Men movies ruined his character.
Chuck Austin ruined The Juggernaut.
That makes no sense
@Marshall W yes, but that's not the mcu. The xmen films aren't a part of that
@@TheXtremeBoltGuy mcu would also ruin him.
deadpool 2 also nerfed him
You left out his encounter with Onslaught
So Juggernaut had his powers from Cyttorak, which Dr. Strange used against Thanos in Infinity war?
Turbo Rat exactly
What???
Greg Y Cyttorak is a Marvel hell lord. Juggernaut gets his powers from the crimson gem of Cyttorak. Many spells including the crimson bands of Cyttorak (which Dr Strange used in Infinity War) derive from Cyttorak the same guy who gives Juggernaut his powers.
@@traviswatts9082 I knew that, but in what part did Strange use the power? If it was when they fought on titan I'll be disappointed.
@@gregy4106 Dr. Strange used it against Thanos in their Titan battle scene in Infinity War.
He is my favorite Marvel character of all time, absolutely love him.
Eldrik Stone is he stronger than the Hulk?
They both seem to have the potential for infinite strength but it seems like Juggernaut can more easily acquire it since he can just will more power onto himself where as Hulk needs to be continuously angry which works in a long fight but if Juggernaut knocked him unconscious, he'd return to being Bruce Banner. Besides that, Juggernaut can become physically unstoppable by charging and he has a force field that can rob objects of momentum as well as be shot from Juggernaut like invisible bullets so he could likely slow Hulk down, attack him from range and if they tackled each other, Juggernaut is succeeding in tackling him since he literally gains infinite momentum where as the Hulk wouldn't. Hulk's only advantage in my eyes is he's more intelligent where as Juggs is kind of an idiot, that and his infinite momentum can be worked against him. Besides that, having comparable strength and durability with the added forcefield as well as being unstoppable when moving, Juggs has what Hulk has and more,
The plot demands that juggernaut must lose this battle
Juggernaut needs his own show.
Dude, what a complex video! I came here by accident, but I'm happy I've done it. Wp
Juggernaut vs Superman would be a good fight.
American or Muscle juggernaut got thrown a couple of mile by Gladiator who is comparable to superman.
R B but in his review of juggernaut he mentioned potentially unlimited strength by thought.
American or Muscle that might be the case now. Every character is crazy over powered these days.
R B I figure he would be like Shazam against Superman since one of his weaknesses is magic.
American or Muscle true. He's vulnerable to some cosmic radiation as well. A tag team match with him Hyperion, sentry and superman would be a world breaking fight. That's something I'd like to read or see.
Is it strange that both him and Sandman have the same last name? Caine Marko, Flint Marko strange how they ain't related to each other.
You mean like Butch and Phil Hartman, and despite looking similar are in fact not related? Or the 50,000 Smith's and Johnson's?
My thoughts exactly!!!
Been one of my favorites since I saw him in the cartoons, but he was one of my mains in mvc2, I wish he had a better story build, very under-rated
10:46 Really? In the Black Panther Animated series, the Juggernaut was imprisoned Wakanda in the cell made of Vibrainium, and each time he was banging the cell wall he was knocked out by Anaesthetic gas.
In this recap, Cain's jealousy was attributed to his father favoring Charles for his athleticism and ability in school . However, Cain's father died when the two were boys. Cain's resentment stemmed from the abuse he took at the hands of his father from which Charles was spared (with his mother's protection on occasion).
This inequality and his father's lessons in violence and abuse lead Cain to become violent and abusive when he got older. VariantComics, please keep the record straight. Otherwise these segments are not really informative and will confuse your audience.
Juggernaut was born of physical and mental parental abuse reinforced by his warped view of Charles' successes being related to his favored position in the family.
If suffering wasn't at the heart of Juggernaut's creation, redemption (even for a short time) would not have been possible.
---Please fact check more closely. Thank you.
I mean, marvel have recapped re written and revamped juggy a lot
If they included all the versions, including the original, this video would have been 3 hours long
It's nice to see someone else who actually cares about the comics on here
