I was the fight choreographer for this film and it warms my heart to see my work being enjoyed around the world. I am a 13th degree deep sea coral belt in futbol-fu and I used this film to showcase the deadly beauty of my martial art.
What was the movie called?
@@raymoshav-bloodbought isn't it "Janam"?
@@raymoshav-bloodbought yeah it totally is
I tried to train in futbol-fo, but I wasn't tough enough, so I had to settle for Navy Seal training 💪
@@barryhernandez6428 nothing to be ashamed of. Not everyone can handle Futbol-fu. Myself, I finished Navy Seal training in just under 3 weeks but got bored with it and wanted a real challenge.
Omg that was a masterpiece....if any film of seagals had half the inspiration it would be considered one of the greatest.Damn dare I say that even Chuck Norris would bow down to these 2 intrepid martial arts troubadours.
This was worth it just to watch Ramsey hysterically laughing.
Bollywood movies and West Side Story are the only places where you can see people fighting to death one minute and then dancing and singing the next. Extravaganza!
Bollywood vs "Shaolin Soccer" (wow, was that really 21 years ago?) and the winner is,.... Pure Entertainment!
Kung Fu vs Yoga
ua-cam.com/video/PRotEfxpiJA/v-deo.html
@@engineeredlifeform shaolin soccer was 21 years ago? damn... time flies... another id recommend simply because of just how much it made me laugh is kung fu hustle... its short, and itll make you lose so much air youd probably need a break for an hour just for recovery
@@crustybomb115 I have seen Kung Fu Hustle, I think I saw that first,... and now I'm wondering if it was VHS or DVD it was that long ago!
i know LOL, bollywood's a whole new level of entertainment
You are in for a wild ride when you find out this is an entire genre.
I thought you had to be exaggerating when you were talking about how good this was at the beginning of the video, but this was brilliant! The worse part was when it ended.
True story. When I was a kid some older kids wanted to beat me up. One of them grabbed me by the wrist and was probably going to punch me in the face. He was also much taller. Some other kid my age that was a striker in a competitive soccer league shot the ball at the older kids face as hard as he could and then I got away. Soccer self-defence is legit and in one specific case proved more effective than my martial arts training XD.
"You have no soul if that didn't move you!" 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
This legit has the comedic effect of old Jackie Chan movies like Who am I? the Soccer/futbol part was AMAZING! Thanks for sharing this gem.
Who am I was a little funny but all I can remember from that movie is a lady driving badly and then him jumping up on a stone mount and screaming 'WHO AM I' To an empty city alleyway below or something. I alwausys remembered that mlvie ad being more serious but Im probably thinking of that other movie with the drug bust that lady and jackie asking 'who killed my uncle?' But I dont know man.
@@kingofthegutter8259 The thing that specifically reminded me of Who am I, is When one of them gets kicked in the shins then starts rubbing them in a similar fashion to the final fight of Who am I. Yea it has a more solid story making it more serious by default, but its still pretty slap stick, "ooh I hurt myself, here's a silly face" funny. I think the one you brought up may be Rumble in the Bronx? I need to go through the Old Jackie movies again myself.
I love how you actually mourned the end of the scene. I didn't want it to end either! 😭 The way he dabbed the sweat off his face with the tie and then stuck it in his mouth put me RIGHT over the edge. 🤣🤣🤣
if Ramsey is happy, I'm happy
JKD church apostle here: Sijo Bruce could actually kick 6 times further.
Glad you had fun with this Ramsey.
This clip you watched actually has some 80's and 90's HK flicks feeling cinematography (despite some poor jump cuts).
Seriously with your experience creating fun fight skits, I'd like to see you make something similar to this and surpass the comedy.
Or just reenact famous fight scenes. Try the park fight scene from Billy Jack
Oh no, you watched this clip, of all the clips to watch. This is from a film based out of the Kannada Film Industry in India. Kannada is the language spoken. The lead is a Stunt Coordinator/actor known as "Thriller Manju", infamous for these kind of films. He is a..... to put it politely, a B-Grade or lower actor/film-maker. And his films are watched just because it's over the top and ridiculuous and no one takes it seriously because........ well look at it.
The film is dubbed in Hindi so it can reach a wider audience. He's not "bad" it is more reminecent of the era back when this was normal. As a kid these were EPIC becuase there was nothing like it, it was all the same old boring crap and he made things interesting and tried things that others would not htink of.
What do you mean over the top? Seems pretty realistic to me.
@@tp230 LOL. You're right, my bad.
@ramseydewey I am so amazed that Ramsey Dewey found AND watched a Thriller Manju fight scene. Wow the internet does bring the world much closer
@@ChiragHasyagar Thank you for providing the background info for this amazing scene. Much appreciated.
Thank you for the context! And "Thriller Manju" is a freaking awesome name.
This movie is from India in the Hindi language. I’m from the US, but I’m familiar with a lot of things Indian. Sadly, all I can tell you is that it was probably made in the 80s because the guy in red refers to video cassettes. They are C grade actors so I can’t figure out names, etc to fond the name of the movie for you. The fight became really epic when the soccer ball came into play (pun unintended). Most epic was Ramsey’s laughing and crying though. That was worth even more. Thanks for sharing this with us!
When you said this scene topped everything else you’ve ever watched, I instinctively knew it was an Indian movie. I’m from India. We have a ton of such movies. If you think this blew your mind, you have barely touched the water in the sea
I actually wish that live action anime would be this good. Most of the time the fight scenes are horrible, they should just hire these guys to do it. They basically are a live action anime.
I've never seen Ramsey laugh like that 😆 it was almost as funny as the fight
I don’t know what’s funnier: the film clip or your reaction!
The punch and kick sound is also spot on. Just great
Ramsey, I think you and I should watch horrible martial arts movies sometime! That was absolutely epic and hilarious. Lol
I laughed harder than you did Ramsey. In the middle I was laughing so hard I almost had to stop the video, I feared I would laugh myself sick. Lets have one of these more often, thanks.
That was unbelievable. So much to processing.
Everything Master Wong demonstrates, is possible. Escaping technically inefficient choke . In particular .
Wong is a case study of a “Person With Great Physicality; But Almost No Technical Aptitude”… at least he can manage humor, if not legitimate grappling.
@@paulpolito2001 watch his “traditional WC series “.
No wonder so many people think martial arts are a joke. Mind you, it was one hell,of a joke! Thanks for sharing this little gem dude.
I think your buddy found the first self-aware, Bollywood action film. I agree. This is definitely the best fight scene, ever recorded.
I am from this country. We are all from this country when you really think about it
You can't make this sh-t up gotta love it
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Magnificent Butcher - End fight (Sammo Hung)
You'll not regret it, it's the funniest and most creative ever!
I'm so glad you're back to fantastic fictional fight scenes! Hey though, I have a serious question, I have a new student with one arm, he's got a great attitude and I think he's gonna go far, but I don't have a lot of examples of one armed fighters to study. I was wondering if you know of any one armed fighters out there that I might not have heard of, I'm familiar with Nick Newell and Vaggelis Chatzis, but that's about it. UA-cam and Google weren't super helpful either.
As far as kickboxing goes, look up Jake Peacock. You can find him on Instagram under jake_leestriking
@@RamseyDewey sweet deal! Thank you sir! Do you happen to have any personal tips about this for me? I would guess that you've probably run into this situation before, what would be your tips for a one armed fighter? Right now I'm thinking he's gonna need to get really good at switching stances; and possibly get used to eating some body shots for a straight hand counter. Please tell me if this is flawed thinking.
I’ve never trained a one armed fighter before. My father and my grandmother were both missing hands. They weren’t combat sports athletes, but here’s what I learned from them: live simply, give much, expect little. When life deals you a debilitating handicap, you have to work with what you have. If you try to be like everyone else, you will fail. The Lord gives us weaknesses to make us humble. When we become humble, we start asking the right questions and turning to the right sources for the answers to turn those weaknesses into strengths.
Do some film studies on Nick and Jake. If you look close, their opponents think they see a weakness on the side of the missing arm. If you think the only viable defense is to cover up and block, you would be right. But that line of thinking is the real weakness. Watch how Nick baits his opponents to punch on that side. And watch how he counters with his knee. That’s just one example. Watch Nick’s head position when he shoots for a single leg. He physically can’t run the pipe so he takes the back with his head on the outside, and initiates a mat return. These small details matter a great deal.
Guys like that can’t play the same game that everyone else does. They have to play chess while the other guys are still playing checkers.
@@RamseyDewey Thank you for the response, sir! This feels like excellent advice, also Jake Peacock is amazing, I've been watching him all night lol.
@@riversedgekickboxing694 Wow. That was an awesome response you got from Ramsey. Far more then I expected. ))
Good luck with your fighter. 👍
Ramsey! I appreciate your keen sense of humour. My mother taught me all about tears of joi! Thank you for the Lesson(s). Pure Love & Respect.
This is glorious, thank you coach Ramsey
This is how I imagined it when my brother and I used to roughhouse
also, we need more videos like that Ramsey !
"If you can dodge a wrench! You can dodge a ball."
Thanks for sharing this! It's the laugh I needed today XD
🎶Everybody was Kung Fu fighting!! Those kicks were constantly repeating!! In fact it was quite enlightening! I was laughing and crying 🎶
Love the shirt, Ramsey!
Thank you so much! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this clip with you Ramsey, as nothing's better than watching goofy Martial Arts movies with fellow real fighters!
And since my health took a turn for the worse in 2010 (a month before turning 23), when I started suffering from extreme chrønic pa¡n (I still do, but have learned to live with it to a certain extent), as my whole life started falling apart, losing one thing after another, I had to stop my 2nd College Degree in Jazz Electric Guitar, drop Martial Arts, and 8n hindsight, THE worse mistake I could have ever made, and did, has been to socially isolate myself as a psychological survival mechanism...
It would take a few hours at the very least to share what I've been through with you Ramsey, so suffice to say that for the past 10 years, I haven't had any friend or girlfriend, +family's only 1 parent.
*Never underestimate the importance of what you do on your Channel!* You're a wise, inspiring man with a great sense of humor, and wether you give tips/tutorials/masterclasses to share knowledge & spark constructive debates in the Martial Arts Community, or post some more funny videos and... basically anything else!
Your positive outlook on life and your bits of wisdom, combined with your Lion's Heart, not only leave the world a better place day after day, but to me, something equally important is how you're able to touch the hearts & souls of many of your viewers who will be soothed, given new motivation when they think everything's already lost...
You give hope, practice empowerment, and remember: you're doing *so much more* than YT Videos teaching MMA & Fitness! Just by being yourself and taking the time to speak about subjects that matter to you (including answering questions from fans sometimes more seeking advice & life lessons), you help on others on *so many levels*, and that... That was crucial for me to say, even if I've had to type all this on my Cellphone!
Lion's Heart! Thanksgiving to a gracious teacher.
I agree. I wish you the best
This is the moment I realized that my training is inadequate...I'm going to learn the art Jeet Kune Futbol. THIS WAS AMAZING LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great vid, I laughed so much my the back my head hurts lol
Ramsey you’re wrong! Ben Stiller’s character looks like HIM!!!
Damn! Those fools can fight 💪
After watching that clip, I now carry a soccer ball in a shoulder holster 👍
This fight choreography is food for the soul
This was gold! pure gold to me! Thank you x 100 Ramsey 😂
All those strikes and not one kick to the groin! Thank you Captain Krav Maga!
This entire video is funnier when I picture Jourdan watching 50 videos like these in a dark room with a pair of comically small sunglasses and knife in hand
Thats was so great i think it is also the most real cinematic fight ever
I've been told that I never shut the hell up. I was kicked out of class more times than I can count for not being quiet...and I'm speechless after this fight...
The fact that, at the end when he's stepping on his chest and talking trash to him, his hand gestures got the "punching sound effect" was just the icing on the cake 😂.
I just imagine the guy putting on his socks to the "watermelon getting hit with a sledgehammer" punch sound. "One sock!" *PSSSHHHTT!*, "Second sock!" *WHHHHPPPSSSTT* 🤣
Hahahahaha! Yes!
You made my day... this is glorious!
The funniest fight scene I have ever watched.
Classic Gold 👍😀
Thanks Mr. Dewey. 🤜🤛
The Tie in the mouth is a righteous taunt.
that film is like a road accident. you know you shouldn't look but you can't help yourself.
"If you dodge a wrench, you doge a ball"
Polishing off a bowl of Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch on a cold Sydney morning whilst watching this masterpiece.
Master Wong did a basketball move as the basketball... HAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHA
watching Ramsey's reaction LMAO
That was one of the most beautiful fight scenes ever put to film I don't know what I just watched but it was hilarious
Nothing but alternating left right kicks next sparring session 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I loved Ramsay's ground fighting comment. 😅
You guys ever see the fight scenes in the movie Ramsey Dewey made in collage? God that film is friggen hilarious! It's a spiderman spoof if i remember correctly
You remember the 2001 classic “Ninja Man”?
@@RamseyDewey Yes! That's the one! I forgot the name, now I can watch it again! thank you 😂
@@RamseyDewey My favourite scene is when you fight the blind guy at 32:22, the old guys dialogue cracks me up 😂
The CGI on that scene aged so well.
I see the ground and pound kicks from bottom becoming the meta in mma
This is amazing
Jesus Christ, what did I just watch? I have no words......
The master wong reference 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow, I’ve seen some bad fight scenes, but dang this one takes the cake. The pie too!
Wow, this is so much better than any fight scene in the Cowboy Bebop Netflix reboot.
Or actually any scene for that matter.
Somewhere there’s a 5 year old kid who’s seen this movie 20 times and wants to grow up to be red shirt guy.
I love that coach loves it.
I have as much fun as Ramsey has here when watching my DnD players talk strategy ^^
I absolutely need you and Jordan recreate this!
Bruce Lee could kick a board so hard that it flies around the world and *does* hit back
This is the best thing I've ever seen
That first jump though, I wanna know his jumping training!
Fear not the man who practiced 1,000 punches 1 time, but the man who practiced 1 lateral rolling roundhouse kick 1,000,000 times
Hahahaha!
Wow, these guys have an incredible Cardio!
The Gracies were all wrong! In reality 90% of fights end up with a dodgeball-match.
None can dodge "The Truth" indefinitely.
Big Ram the Man! 🤜🤛💪👍
It reminds me a little of the old Mandarin cinema films that would sometimes be shown on television in the early 1970's on Saturday afternoons; high-flying acrobatics and etc.
Lesson learned. A striped tie beats a black belt every time, and unless you're a master of Kung-Football, you're nothing!
That was phenomenal.
They had some ligit moves in their, but yeah they were committed to the roles. No stunt man in there, that was all them. Good show
Lol I only needed to see the first frame to instantly know it's from India. I haven't seen many Indian movies (maybe 2-3 in full?), but their style is unmistakable.
Btw, one Indian movie I've seen a few years ago is Dangal; it's about wrestling, based on a real story. Less ridiculous, more cool :)
This was great! Thank you Ramsey I mean that!
That was EPIC!!!!
I marked this under “Try not to laugh”
🤣🤣🤣🤣 damn that is some hardcore cardio
Their cardio! WOW!
Had to watch it again....
That's India for ya.
The reason you hear words in English here and there is because they speak the language over there along with their local languages. So, at times they combine the two.
That was pretty awesome man.
Thanx 4 sharing your joy, Coach!
A flying legbar from high kick catch, man 🙂 makes you want to get out there and train 😂
Lmmfao 🤣to the movie and the reaction lmao
🤣 Amazing choreography and visual acting (if that's what you call it)
Omg this was amazing I can't! 🤣🤣🤣
I think as a tribute to the greatest fight scene ever Ramsey and Jordan should make an interpretation of this scene.
Soccer balls as a weapon, just to good! 😂
That is the final possible achievable form of fighting. Of course, you would be inspired :D. Btw I love how you have a clip of master Vong's first video on you in case he ever crosses you lol.
Haters say will say that this is speed up.
This made my day 😂
Tell me or not but does that fight scene and environment looks like the ending of the big boss with Bruce lee 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you for the acid trip without the harmful side effects.
Before you played the clip I was telling my wife that I hoped it was a Bollywood action movie. I shrieked Called It when I saw that it was. Nobody does over the top action like India!
Omg I fell out of my chair lol
Incredible
This even gives Godfrey Ho movies a run for their money.
Master Dewey, If you haven't seen "Kung Fury", you're missing out.
I’ve seen it.
Hey! Long time no see! Good to see you are well!
