Prepare for gate and it would automatically prepare you for vlsi theoretical part. Do one project related to vlsi (verilog based) or embedded as per your choice. A lower risk would be there by going with this approach.
1. High probability in Top colleges of India 2. Almost nil in TIER-3 colleges because mostly companies don't visit them. So they have two ways: 1. M.tech in VLSI OR 2. Training institute
big bro i want opinion about this branch. im 12th student according to my wbjee rank i able to got vsli branch in makaut college but i warry about the placement after btech is it good to take vsli branch in makaut college pl
IITs , NITs just provide an opportunity to students and anyone having required skills can serve IT / VLSI industry. However it is easy for CS / ECE / EE graduates to do so because their coursework is already required in VLSI industry while anyone from ME, Chemical or civil have to work on their academics as well as study separately and then compete with CS / ECE guys ( Who are completely focused on one thing). That's why it becomes a little bit tougher, not impossible though !
It depends on various parameters and your interest. Go with Software if you have less time and a job is needed quickly Go with vlsi if you have proper time to prepare yourself and also keen interest is there.
@@Singh-Rajveer if we need to increase the lifespan of software engineer, i think abroad is the best choice , in india I have seen many people before 40 they are quitting their jobs and start teaching

Yes, It is possible. But you must have genuine interest then only vlsi should be a carrier path. Also, Your two year embedded experience would be wasted. So, You can add additional skills and switch to an embedded developer profile. It would be a comparatively better decision.
Both Jobs are challenging and would have a Great future ahead ! It all depends on your interest. If interest is not an issue then go with CSE because VLSI surely requires interest.

@@AnshikaSingh-rd8tb Okay, There are so many common courses in VLSI and Embedded Roadmap ( I had made video on both). You need to cover remaining courses & one project to shift between domains

Hi Sai, We can't directly compare both fields and easy and tough is also subjective in nature. Someone may find embedded system tougher than that of VLSI and someone may find it easy.
It have good number of opportunities. Starting salary is not that much high but growth is good. However growth also depends on various other factors like market, company performance, your team performance, you and many more things.

In that case you should try on the CSE side. You will find plenty of good creators with Roadmap to follow on UA-cam itself for software Engineering. Electronics require patience and strong academics. There are various vlsi coaching institutes in market but as per me if your btech is not from good(TIER-1/2) college then M.tech vlsi/embedded is the best option. Yes, It affected but the impact was very less. Mostly Contractors faced layoff and full time employees were rarely effected. However few companies stopped hike, hiring to avoid layoff.

Share ur view thank you sir
A Continuous Upskilling is required in VLSI as well. if you are working in a vlsi company then it happens automatically as each task requires different knowledge so continuous reading is there. But eda tools / software used are usually the same until you are not switching roles.
Hi, Don't have very much detailed information about vlsi training institutes But I can tell you some names such as Maven silicon, vlsi for all, vlsi expert. Please go to LinkedIn and talk with students already studying in these institutes before making any decision
One way is to do B.Tech in ECE and keep preparing for VLSI and get job using on campus placement in the respective clg. Also develop skills during B.Tech so that you may apply off campus also in VLSI companies
I am student of ENTC final year , can I prepare the subjects required for VLSI before completion of final year ,as I didn't focus on core subject much So I can apply for off campus
Bro I want to became a Vlsi Design engineer so what will be the road map for me ? Will Secession impacts after may 2024? Which Institutes best in bengalore With 100% placement? Is vlsi r embedded best? Can anyone suggest?
1. Already shared roadmap for vlsi jobs. 2. Recession usually impacts entire industry whenever it is there.Yet Last year, VLSI Full time roles were least impacted. 3. I don't recommend any institute. You should do your careful research and feedback from students before joining any. Don't just reply on 1/2 feedback. Also, Institute and colleges are just a medium to get an interview chance. Eventually skills and knowledge matters. Usually M.tech is preferred for vlsi roles if someone doesn't belong to top college in btech

Do one project related to vlsi (verilog based) or embedded as per your choice.
A lower risk would be there by going with this approach.
Same for me. Can we connect on linkedin or instagram?
Yes, We can connect on LinkedIn
During btech or after btech what are chances of getting vlsi job
1. High probability in Top colleges of India
2. Almost nil in TIER-3 colleges because mostly companies don't visit them.
So they have two ways:
1. M.tech in VLSI
OR
2. Training institute
big bro i want opinion about this branch. im 12th student according to my wbjee rank i able to got vsli branch in makaut college but i warry about the placement after btech is it good to take vsli branch in makaut college pl
Branch is certainly good. Not sure about your college.
hare krishna is there much scope for ece job in future in india does student from lower branch in IITs get good positions in IT industry
@@Singh-Rajveer thanks😇🙂😍
Bro plzzz suggest me which is better software or vlsi .....Wat should I choose
It depends on various parameters and your interest.
Go with Software if you have less time and a job is needed quickly
Go with vlsi if you have proper time to prepare yourself and also keen interest is there.
that is really precise and good suggestion. thanks@@Singh-Rajveer
Please anyone tell me m tech in tier 3 college or State government college is good or bad?
Mostly Bad, It is not recommended from my side to waste another two years.
If degree is the only aim then it is fine else not

Software on Average

There is one more thing in Corporates and that's stress. The ones who want a bit of relaxed life would surely go to some other profession.
However some exceptions (teams) are there who really maintain a good work life balance with almost no stress but still the corporate environment is very progressive and demands continuous efforts from every individuals and sometimes person is required to push the limits so people shift as per their Priorities (Money / relax).

Electronics vlsi is certainly a good branch.
Depends on college also, that should also be good.
I'm a diploma student now from ece branch and i want to choose vlsi because AI is replacing software engineers so is it better to learn vlsi basics from now...
Maybe i have more then 4 years to learn....
And what package can i get after learning 4 years about vlsi
And after 4 years do VLSI have demand and would have job opportunities for freshers
It would have.

You just need to focus on ECE curriculum as of now.
Also, If you are from tier-3 college and no electronics company visits then vlsi entry very rare just after btech.
Need to go for Masters from top colleges by giving GATE.
@@Singh-Rajveer then what are ece related courses without master please reply 😭
How is the growth in VLSI sector? Is it comparable to software industry?
On Average it is less as compared to the software industry. However growth depends entirely on individuals (Their smartness, dedication and hardwork).
Sir in core ECE industry if a fresher is placed at 20lpa+ then in 8-10 years can he earn 1cr+ salary, like we see in software domain?
Yes he can earn but not all the freshers would be able to do this.
In fact very few would do this

Yes, I will be making video on this topic soon !
I am working as a embedded test engineer i have 2 years of experience can i practice this year and come to vlsi development will it be fine for my carrer
Yes, It is possible.
But you must have genuine interest then only vlsi should be a carrier path.
Also, Your two year embedded experience would be wasted. So, You can add additional skills and switch to an embedded developer profile. It would be a comparatively better decision.
Which is better EEE or Electronics in VLSI
Electronics in VLSI Should be preferred
vlsi engineering from teir 2 college will worth it?
Yes

Already done a complete Roadmap video for vlsi jobs. You would find it on my channel.
Digital or Analog vlsi Roadmap.
Can you tell me ECE VLSI ENGINEERING OR CSE CORE ENGINEERING
I AM FRESHER AND WILL BECOME ENGINEERING IN 2027???
Both Jobs are challenging and would have a Great future ahead !
It all depends on your interest.
If interest is not an issue then go with CSE because VLSI surely requires interest.

I want to ask that can we shift from vlsi to embedded system?
Yes, I would like to know the complete situation to answer it in the best way.

I asked this only for additional info
@@AnshikaSingh-rd8tb Okay, There are so many common courses in VLSI and Embedded Roadmap ( I had made video on both).

And one more thing I want to ask
Can ece (vlsi) student also apply for the company that ask ece(core branch) students?
It is a new branch and vlsi is focused more on academics of this branch. I don't find any reason that the company would deny jobs to this branch. Also, It would be more beneficial in VLSI related jobs.
Which i prefer embedded or vlsi. Which is easy to learn bro

We can't directly compare both fields and easy and tough is also subjective in nature.

Hi, I don't have information about this university.
The best way is to talk with students of the respective college
Hii brother, can you say about the embedded systems job opportunity, how is the growth and job scenario in this industry.
It have good number of opportunities. Starting salary is not that much high but growth is good. However growth also depends on various other factors like market, company performance, your team performance, you and many more things.
Sir, I published two papers in VLSI,one in digital and other in analog in my 2nd yr .Will it be helpful for my resume?
Yes, You must add them.
VLSI is a kind of research field as well , so it would make a positive impact only.

There are very few product companies which are hiring currently. Hiring is kinda frozen due to ongoing market conditions. Hopefully it would get back to normal after oct-nov
