Retired Green Beret and combat veteran here, the chances that I would watch a travel vlog by 2 models (I think that's what you said) are about as remote as ice cubes in hell. I lived in Italy for 7 years and go back whenever I can, so I have a jaundiced view of many of the vlogs about Italy. I was more than pleasantly surprised at your personal and public love story of each other and Italy. You are such a normal couple in such abnormal times drawing in your viewers as if we are at least friends if not family. I feel like I was watching a favorite niece or nephew. Every shot is not in focus or perfectly done but it makes it so much more relatable and genuine. I don't get the feeling that it's all about you, instead you allow yourselves to be secondary to the sights and sounds of your surroundings. You are both undeniably good looking, but we all grow old with hair growing from new places and gravity taking its toll. I genuinely believe that a 1/2 century from now that you can look back with pride on this production and realize the world is not all about you, but you are a part of it and make personal choices of how you will fit in to it. It's wonderful watching a young couple who obviously adore one another exploring, absorbing and learning from each other and their surroundings. Yes, it's a cliche but slow down and smell the roses. If I may make a suggestion the next time you visit Florence stay in a little hill town called Fiesole. The #7 bus from Florence goes to Fiesole every 20 mins and conveniently that is the last stop. (Remember to timestamp your ticket on the bus) Fiesole is an ancient Etruscan town built on a ridgeline above Florence, it is away from the hustle and bustle of Florence so at the end of the day it's a great place to retreat to and have dinner watching the sunset over Florence. Walk up the steep path to the former monastery and have a million-dollar view of Florence with 1/2 dozen people. Visit the Etruscan/Roman museum with its amphitheater where you have a very good chance of being the ONLY visitors sitting on the ancient steps. There are some sublime Etruscan tombs within walking distance with massive stones. Lots of places to stay and restaurants. The bus ride up a narrow winding road is evocative of earlier times when the rich and powerful had homes here in the Middle Ages to escape the heat and crowds of Florence. Villa after villa line the streets with nary a tourist in sight.
