Had one of these when I was younger and I didn't even know what it was, I remember saying to my dentist at the end of the appointment he forgot to take something out of my mouth lol
I had this, in 2016 when I was 8, as soon as the doctor pulled the tooth out of me, I accidentally bit my tongue, and assumed the pain came from the removed tooth, not the tongue
Mine just fell out at gym because the tooh next to it came out A cavity that was half of my tooth was underneath and I realized in horror as a chunk of my tooth came out of my mouth The dentist also fixed it without any numbing
No, it is shaped in a way that leaves enough room for the adult tooth to erupt. Once the adult tooth erupts far enough into the space, the space maintainer is removed.
I got one of these in 5th grade.. it only lasted in my mouth for about a month. I hated that thing so i popped it off and hid it somewhere. I still have no idea where it is lol.
When I was 8 years old I had to have one of those spacers put in my teeth but it was much bigger than that one they had to cement it to both my back teeth with a piece of metal going around the bottom inside of my gums. It lasted for about 4 years and then just eventually popped out
Reminds me of the P.J. O'Rourke quote, "In general, life is better than it has ever been, and if you think that, in the past, there was some golden age of pleasure and plenty to which you would, if you were, transport yourself, let me say one single word: Dentistry."
You know how they always show there's another tooth from a baby's tooth to adults tooth, what if they put a manufactured tooth a bone inside jaw that would work too and the tooth that sells would be all porcelain. 😃
Hi, wisdom teeth don't come in until you're around 16 or 17. As PotatoSam3 mentioned, it's most likely your second molars, also called the "12 year molars" which come in around age 12.
At 80 years old, you aren't having any adult teeth erupt. Although I had a patient who had full dentures and an impacted wisdom tooth finally came in when she was 79.
I had that! I always played with it with my tongue and one day it popped out and I never told anyone. Maybe that’s why my teeth are effed 😂
Same, but when mine came out, I put it back in place.
Had it until I got braces in 5th grade.
i always played with it but it never came out and i just got it removed a moth ago
Same but I panicked thinking I fucked up but my dad said I’ll just get a new one
I’d that too😂
😮😮😮😮
How nice of UA-cam to show me this after 2 of my wisdom teeth were removed a day prior. Thanks for the trip down the memory lane.

I have that!
I’m scared to get it removed in like a year now 😭
How do I know if there is a teeth under the premolar which is going to come out .Coz I don't remember my premolars falling out
Your dentist can check with an x-ray.
I'm pretty sure braces can position it back where it's supposed to be. Might take a long while but that's one way of fixing it 🙂
I pulled mine out as a kid with plyers never had a problem
Mine just fell out, but I didn’t have problems either
Aww i needed this
Good Videos
Thanks
I had one of these when I was a child.
I have nothing like this but it’s interesting
Awesome!

I have that but the tooth is a adult and touching a bone I’m scared that it will shift my jawline if I don’t get my space retainers
❤
Wouldnt that hinder just a tiny bit of growth for the new tooth? As the metal is in the way of it

Will the adult pre moller tooth still come in if the adult tooth behide is coming a bit closer to it?
Hi, baby teeth are wider than adult teeth so a little loss of space may not be a big deal.
I have one still

Wait wtf, I had that one before, 😮 without actually knowing why 😂😂😂lol
I had that
It happened with me. The dentist never told about this. 😢
Lol just had a class about this today 😂😂
Band and loop
I have that before and now it's gone😊
I got that before
My daughter lost her front teeth at 4 and till now 9 years no teeth came out😢
Imagine all the pain before modern dentistry💀💀

So that's why my moler came in pushed back

My bother has this
Funny autocorrect !
I’m scared now if I had that😭
The most complex things about the human body:
1. The Brain
2. Teeth.
Am so scared i have that but i am just 11 years old i have wisdom teeth all ready
you sure you have all your wisdom teeth at 11? or are they just the second molars

they actually had to hold it back like a rabid dog XD
So basically my mouth is fucked .... that's fantastic to know....
When I heard decayed baby I thought that this video was going to be very bad.
From where does that new tooth took place on empty space?
Hi, the new tooth is the adult premolar that develops underneath the baby molar.
I had that and I hated it
Your are killing me😭
I had that it freaking suckeddds
😂😂😂
I don’t NEED IT
Lol the humam body is such a bad design
Is this possible even at 80 years old ?
