Even though its only remsins there id akways so much to see and be able to google about its features or what history it might hold. I love these explores of forgottrn buildings xx
You’re right, the small details and features are stunning. It’s such a nice place, and then when you get down to the basement and see all that and how it’s been left. It’s amazing.
Dalquharran Castle is a category A listed building in South Ayrshire, Scotland, designed by Robert Adam and completed around 1790. The estate includes two 'castles', the old one abandoned around 1800 and the new one, actually a mansion, which was habitable until the 1960s. The estate including the old castle were bought in the late 17th century by Sir Thomas Kennedy of Kirkhill, Lord Provost of Edinburgh, and occupied by his son Thomas Kennedy of Dunure.
I'm the same way on stairs, just look at the steps in front of you but don't look up or down or you may find yourself at the bottom. The round metal room could have been a silo for storing grain. Is it possible that the brick had the name on it because it was actually made on the property? As for haunted, it's been around for long enough to have a few residents still living there.
I once made my way to the top of a factory on some thin metal stairs… regretted it as soon as I reached the top. Yes it very well could have been some sort of cold storage, also, it can’t remember if it’s in the video but I did say to my wife maybe the bricks were made on site :) Thanks for watching
