There’s a reason why, in the Portal series, characters will usually shut up once a puzzle starts. They only really talk at the beginning of the level and once you reach the goal. And the lines are either important and/or funny. It’s not just “hey let’s make a meta joke here cuz Justin likey”
Also they timed the jokes in Portal. Basically if you take the quickest path from [dialogue spot a] to [dialogue spot b], you'll find the jokes never run over that (with a few exceptions where they messed up, but hey.) a good 50% of this game's humour is just "let's say a swear every third word"
Hazbin hotel and helluva boss might sue
Pyro's distress when he actually laughed at a joke had me howling
I for one like the game - it's making Rick and Morty fans realize how unfunny Justin actually is
That part where the suit's HUD starting showing ads reminded me of that scene in Ready Player One where the business guy says something about filling x% of one's vision with ads before inducing seizures.

Yo my boy harvey
Watched this live, I genuinely had a headache from all the shit happening. All the chatting, banter, and jokes, I had to take a pill. Jesus
Oh good I wasn’t the only one. This game was such brainrotting sensory overload that I genuinely had to turn off the stream and lie down for a while to soothe my head.

This is the first pyro video i wont watch completely lol this shit is unbearable
Pyro instantly gunning down the kid before the bit could happen was way funnier than the actual joke that was supposed to happen
Also infinitely funnier than every time kenny points out youre acting like a sociopath in a game where doing that does nothing but "reward" you with le funny dialogue.
I've never seen Pyro become so enraged at the amount of dialogue a game has
Imagine being strapped to a chair and forced to watch gameplay of the Rick and morty game; actual psychological torture.
I enjoy it actually. Besides, you actually have to have a very high iq to understand the jokes of High on Life

Me when squeaky stuttering voice makes jokes about how it's a video game and proceeds to point out all the tropes of said video game in a fourth wall breaking matter
This game makes me grateful for having the ability to close my mouth.
This game really is just ADHD the game. Its so overwhelming tbh
As someone with ADHD the games humor makes my Little brain cry 😢
Having ADHD myself, I despise this and hate the humor to my core
I think my Adhd is gonna love this.
they make the same joke with the same delivery every five minutes
if this game were a person you would look at them and go, "Dude, stop. That wasn't even funny the first ten times."
Just to make sure, I don’t hate anyone with ADHD. Its just that this game won’t shut up for once.
The only thing that made this stream bearable was the fact that Pyro was there. Holy shit, this game was so painful to sit through.

It was pretty alright imo.

The "The PS5 has no games" might be funnier than all the jokes in this game.
fun fact: if you check out the posters and background posters in the walls, you'll notice they look like absolute shit, and close to nonsensical. it's because they're AI-generated, because this couldn't get any worse.
This whole game feels AI generated
That's hilarious for all the wrong reasons
This game is a perfect example of the state the show is currently in
Pyro going 'nooo' when someone said the gun sounded like morty was the most british ive ever seen him
The main problem with the jokes in this game is that they drag on for way too long
They stretch a 1 sentence joke into a 5 minute skit
It's like monty python's the holy grail if every single joke was them asking how he got his hands on the coconuts.
That's the Justin Roiland comedy style. It's awful.
I kept forgetting he was playing on the hardest difficulty
Also half the games dialogue is stuttering
This man is going insane just like Rick from Rick and morty. ( I have never seen Rick and morty so thanks for the likes, dumb dumbs)

This game's dialouge is like a pre-teen learning the word fuck for the first time
The fact that this edited VOD was uploaded in the same day as IGN's review, convinced me that Pyro was the IGN journalist who reviewed this.

Poor editor was so done with this video, they effed up the outro
I came in here laughing at the title only for my jaw to drop at the video length.
The live stream was longer
This seems familiar to a game called Oddworld: Strangers Wrath, at least when it comes to the bounty hunting. There was live ammo as well you always saw but they didn't talk to you it was more along the line of noises.

You can actually sacrifice a gun besides Kenny, if you sacrifice Lezdoit he becomes Wedidit

one of the funniest segments imo is the bears in the office, if you stay long enough you witness dry dumb ass humor up until one bear leaves another for another. remember how i said its funny? the heartbroken bear pulls out a fucking revolver and tries to off itself but it exclaims that it is to poor to afford ammunition. that was funny. you can also off the bear after. for me it got bugged and did nothing but repeat its death moan, idk if it was intentional or not but jesus was it annoying during the computer sequence.
Under most circumstances I'd criticise the outro being messed up, but considering the editor had to edit through 9 hours of THAT... fair enough
