ATS 2024: KosherDad - Biblical Relationships - Part 2

  • We are sharing some great content from our leaders at the recent Arming the Saints men's retreat.
Here is part two of Kosher Dad's talk on biblical relationships.
Bear reads the Bible from a Hebrew Roots whole Bible Torah perspective, from The Scriptures version. This is a literal translation of the Bible in English. This translation differs significantly from most common English translations in that it has restored the original book order of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Tanakh, and restored the Name of the Most High, (יהוה) throughout.

TY brother Bear, TJ for posting these. Just started watching the bible playlists. When i told my family about eating clean changed my diet, and following the Torah. They were confused what are jewish now blah blah blah. I said no, im trying to be Torah observant and follow the commandments. There like were in new testament not old. 20 yrs ago i wondered why my family said that. I thought the whole book old and new was what we should do. TY for the scriptures and really getting me back into the word and trying to do better by Dad.

Every Christian in this country needs to hear this, it would make us more effective at being a witness. We've all been chased away by good intentions. This is higher level mature Christian teaching right here. Basically your actions speak louder than words and wait for them to come to you, then they are ready. Meanwhile I'll still be taking this giant tree branch from my eye and remember I'm still working on me till death.

So many things in your talk that I was confused about, ie, who exactly is my neighbor and still not completely shunning the strangers in need. Or towards the end... Not obeying the Sabbath rest. Twice in one friggin day I became aware of breaking the Laws after I had done so. I was still kicking myself in the ying-yang over these stupid things when you brought up breaking the Sabbath day of rest rulings. Very on point. Getting back my at one ment with the Father and then trying and doing all I have been learning from you brothers. Blessings!

You see had I come across those scriptures on my own I would have thought, see the Bible is contradictory and stopped reading for a while. I can’t get through Genesis without thinking this. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cool. You found the Spirit. Now what? Throw away the rest of the Book? Do the writings of Paul nullify the rest of Scripture?
Obviously, I do not think that it does. However, that is for you to decide in your relationship with Him.
      Blessings. ❤

She was in the army, yet had no skin, or shell. Sounds like a snowflake to this woman. She was definitely not humble. All in all, I enjoyed your talk..

Well, she was in the Air Force… 😉
There was more detail to the story, but don’t miss the point. There are different levels of relationship and trust. There are (hopefully) people in your life whose opinions REALLY matter to you. That even if you disagree with, you still respect and will have tremendous influence on the choices you make. Then, there is someone you know nothing about. If they tell you that you are wrong, it is less likely to give you pause. It might even cause you to never interact with them at all…
      Blessings! ❤
