You won't find it in an Asian market try to find a african store that's where I always get my oil. Even if you do see it in stores other than a african store it won't taste the same and it will also change your soup taste.
If you add the oil while theres still water in the soup it's ok just allow the soup to cook untill the water dries and you will know the water is dried when its just the oil left the oil will rise to the top. I hope this helped

Hey thanks for the support. I did not blend my okra I keep stiring every few minutes the spoon and the meat helped to mash the okra up.

Ok u let the water in the soup cook down that’s where I always mess up and it sometimes be too watery 🤦🏾♀️ trying again today
